"Self" is often a greater enemy than the devil, because we are capable of exercising our choice.

God allows the devil to exist so humans can choose good freely, but the real enemy is ourselves. Our own choices and desires are more dangerous than any external evil because we act on them autonomously.

You feel if God is God, why did he not just kill the devil? Why should we have to be the one to deal with this nonsense creature? Why didn't God kill the devil? That same question sounds like you've been broke, one of your uncles became a senator, and you're saying, why didn't you steal for the family? The question and the invitation for God to have killed the devil so you can have peace is an invitation— you are inviting God to look like your political system. Because the same method that will make him kill the devil is the same thing that will make him kill you when you are not perfect. So God did not wipe him out and say cease to exist, because in the nature of God, he allows both good and bad have their full tenure. So that everybody can come and choose. You're not a robot, you are not AI. It is important that you have your free choice to make your choice. The devil fell long before evil existed, so the fact that there was no evil doesn't mean that he didn't still have a choice. And there is something that tells you that whatever convinced Lucifer to become the devil is something you should fear more than the devil. Which devil convinced the devil to rebel against God? So there is probably a greater devil than the one you see in movies. That devil is called self, meaning that by yourself you are capable of architecting certain things independent of demons. It means there's a possibility of certain things you're doing, and the devil is innocent. You are capable of many things in yourself. Get the full message on Femi Lazarus Digital Library app today.
