Sometimes, nothing is wrong with you, you just need to learn differently.

I found out that people are not really dull. Education is not when you pick biro and paper. Why should mathematics teachers be boring and physics teachers vindictive? Doesn't make sense. So if I tell you and I say, Femi Lazarus, get me that microphone, and I say it in Chinese, you won't do it. Not because you don't have the ability to do it, because you don't even understand the language. The reason why some people look like they hate certain things It's not because they don't have the ability to do it. It's because they don't understand the learning language. Education is not when you pick Bible and paper. That's a lie. Education is actually your environment, what you're wired around you, what you see, the quality of conversation. We can teach geopolitics through games. We can teach many things. How many of you noticed that when you were in school and you were trying to learn your Periodic table in chemistry, the moment they converted it to a song, assimilated better. Why did we stop at the level of periodic table? Why not formulas also? Why not other things? Why must everything be straitjacketed? Why should mathematics teachers be boring and physics teachers vindictive? Doesn't make sense. Get the worst student in class, sit with that child 45 minutes, 1 hour per day. Let the child forget about grade. Interact. Find the hidden genius in that child and then go through that to introduce the child to what you want the child to learn. The child is going to come back and beat everyone else in class. I have people that I taught that are now lecturers. We've done that again and again. So if you are in a system that keeps telling you you are dull, you are dumb and all that, you're going to remain dull and dumb. But if we introduce a different learning curve, people are going to emerge. That's what I believe.
