There is an incident that will happen. They will shoot at the car. I saw the bullets coming through the windscreen, and there is no human way for that bullet to miss. And yet, by his divine providence, your soul is escaped like a bird from the nest of the fowler. The snare is broken and you have escaped. Listen, the Lord said to describe it so that by the time it happens, he said he wants you to know I have preserved your life for a reason. Do you understand that? Turn your Bibles to Isaiah chapter number 14. We're going to read from verse 1 to 3. I wish you can personalize it. For the Lord will have mercy on Femi Lazarus. And they will yet choose Lazarus and set me in my own land. And the strangers shall be joined with me, and they shall cleave to my house. You like that? Look at verse 2 now. And people shall take, aha, Yes, and the house of Israel, my house. Yes, yes, read it well. And they shall rule over our oppressors. Is there anyone here that will rule over oppressors? Now look at verse 3. Verse 3 was shot in my spirit like a cry. And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord will give me rest from my sorrow and from my fear and from hard bondage wherein I have served. You see, listen, there is, there is a relationship with scripture that is not just reading, memorizing, and talking. But there is a relationship with scripture that is warfare. I'm telling you, there is warfare relationship with scripture. This— when you read a scripture like this, there's a way you read it like a man of war. Look at it. And it shall come to pass today that the Lord shall give me rest from all my sorrow and from all my fears.

And from the hard bondage wherein I have served.

There comes a time that enough is enough. You know, the Lord— some of the things God said to me, you just brought them verbatim. The Lord said, pray for families that they have not seen anyone rise from. You know, there are places— you know what the siege is? Um, when, when they mount a siege in a place, nothing comes in, nothing goes out. It's airtight, just locked. There are places under siege. Men don't rise from there. They try to rise, they cut them down. Some either run mad, some just afflict them in their marriage, afflict them in their health. But there comes a time that the Lord gives people rest. I shared my story with you. Whenever I remember I remember with a lot of pain in my heart, I got to that point that the Lord opened my eyes to see scriptures and I saw, hold on a minute, ah Lord, if Jesus has come, this is how I would have missed rapture? Where you look around and there's no At least a glimpse of hope that somebody fought this through. For some of us, what fasting in fighting such battle has done to our body Only God can forgive us. There was a time I was listening to a man of God I respect so much, and he was talking about what fasting has done to his body. I wept because I know by experience. And the reason why I am sharing this again It's because there are people that you don't need 100 days. In one night, the God who healed the whole nation in one night. There's going to be mass exodus tonight. Yorubas will say, oju enema lari. I might need an interpreter. You know, even Sabi, you talk about— Nobody preached to me and inspired me to fast. I just got, you know, like Jabez, he just knew. There's a point you get to and nobody needs to motivate you and say, ah, this is another. He just got to that point where he just what?

Knew.

I can't continue carrying this bag. I just got to that point. It just occurred to me, it's about time now. And I said, God, I will fast. If I die in the process, I die. If this is where I perish, I'm ready to die if you will not change my life. I remember How they were rushing me to the hospital. I say, ah, Pastor, Pastor, Mark Barai, don't kill yourself. The only thing on my mind is meet Ibo. You know, it's easy for you to laugh. I mean, they had to lay clothes for me in the market square. That's where they were donating money. I pay school fees. I know what problem looks like. Some of you who are second generation of those who have broken through, that's why you are relaxed. Omolagbarelo man yole. It is the children of mighty people that are lazy. They say you can't fast again, you can't do it, you just kill yourself. I said I will change the kind of fasting. I did it and did more, but I remember no announcement. It was not at night, it was in the afternoon, because there are days, but there is always the day. That day you can't forget. And I can give you 5 different layers of experiences in my life of D-Day, and I noticed all of them are triggered through long prayer. So in case somebody just believe, ah, you will pray o. I remember that afternoon, tired, worn out. I was at the last 3 days. And the Lord showed me a vision where I saw the angel of the Lord standing there, and I saw a man lying down on the floor. And the angel said, "Get up." And he said, "Do you know that man?" I said, "No." He said, "Look at him well. Do you know that man?" I said, "No." He said, that's the father of your grandfather. Yeah, just one hair on his head. He said, when he died, he went with something that belonged to all of you. He said, but your cry has reached us, and I've been sent to wake him so you can take what is yours. I was pained with that statement because look at the number of months I've been fasting. Is this how long it takes for my cry to come to your ears? Long story short, they took something, blew it heavily. The man got up, said, you have 1 minute to pick what is yours. I went there, I was shaking. I knew what to do by the Spirit. Put my hands there. I saw several. I wanted to pack for everybody. He said, when they pray, they will pick theirs. Pick yours and leave. I picked it. The man fell flat. I woke up from the vision.

I knew.

I broke it.

I knew.

But I had questions. And very sincere question. I'm a teacher of the word. For me, the experience didn't look doctrinal. It ought not to be this difficult. So yako leto e. It's not supposed to be this tough. And the Lord said to me, it's true. He said, if you had discerned somebody around you who broke through It doesn't have to be from your lineage. Just have the eyes that can recognize. This person has been through— he said the person carries the oil it takes to bring you out. So you mean I did how many days because I couldn't discern? What needless pain we bear. I want to tell you something, people of God. I'm sorry, it's not virtue signaling, but there is a grace that brings men out of captivity on my life. I've seen it. I've seen strange transformations. I've seen strange testimonies. I've seen, and this is how I'll talk simply. If you are not discerning, you might even sleep off. But beloved, I've seen it. I've seen people's nights turn to day. I've seen dry bones come alive. I've seen death reversed. I've seen impossibility change. I've seen it. And just in case there is one person here tonight who is saying, ah, I've not broken through— that's— I'm not saying everybody, you know, there is a way, you know, you know, once it is in you, there is a way you pray. That one person who is saying I've been trying, but I can't tell. I have not entered. You know, that, that, that's why this place is wide, eh? The whole front is wide. Nobody is tying you there. Leave, leave the back for those who have broken it. That person who is saying, I know, but it can be tonight. I want to give you time. And I bet— listen to what I'm saying. You see, you know, you know, you know, there's a way you pray and it commands attention. My Father and my God, give me the firstborn oil, the grace that brings men out of the pit of life everywhere It's available for you to pray.

The grace that brings men out of the pit of life, I beg you by the mercies of God, I beg you by the mercies of God, cry like your life depends on it. Let it be record that tonight somebody prayed. Let it be on record. Pray in a way that you too, you know you prayed. I beg you by the mercies of the Lord God Almighty, we have come to Mount Zion, we have come to the innumerable company of angels. We have come to the city of the living God. Lift your voice, cry out to him. You are the God who brings men out of the pit. Help me. You are the God who rescues men. Bring me out.

Remember, you are standing here representing a lineage.

You represent the intentions of God for that household, and that is why we must cry tonight. That is why we must seize the opportunity.

That is why we must pray. You are the God who brings men out. You are the one who rewrite stories. You are the one who changes destiny. You are the one who rescues from the pit. You are the Lord God Almighty. This is what we came here to do.
