Ideally, that's what the gathering of believers ought to look like. We give healing. See, healing is not the job of the pastor. Somebody can just sit around you, there's a field of glory around you that is enough to minister to the person. And you know, when I— I mean, I think I was sharing this story somewhere. Um, a friend of mine, one of my friends, had a big trouble, very big trouble, became so bad and messy. Um, I think at some point he was even jailed, and it was, it was probably for a while. And when he came out of that situation, one of those days he went somewhere to eat in a restaurant, and while he was eating, he noticed, um, some guys came to eat in that restaurant. They were musicians. And, um, one of them just stood up and walked up to him and held his hands. She didn't know him from anywhere, didn't recognize him, just by the leading of the Spirit, just went to him and held his hands. As she did, it was like all the sorrow, all the pain, all the trouble Everything locked up inside while he was in jail busted open at that moment, and he began to cry. Now, why is it that we don't have such manifestation amongst ourselves? Number one, we are suspicious. Many of these things has hindered— do you know what God made man to be? It has hindered the, the, the amazing things that can happen amongst us. That somebody doesn't need pastors to pick a word of knowledge. That in a gathering like this, someone can just walk up to someone and tell the person, God says to tell you it is over. And that's the word for the evening. That's what the gathering of believers look like. And look at it, if you walk up to someone now and just give the person a hug, suspect you Femi Lazarus. Because most of our trainings revolve around giving, dispensing, imparting. We are not trained to receive. Do you understand what I'm saying? That as a Christian who is going through something, do you have that within you that a fellow believer can minister to you without titles? All these things that, um, talk about cancer, talk about all those things, there are believers carrying the anointing for the healing, but because they are not with titles, they are not regarded. Many times God has given you words for people, but you are too afraid to go, and I understand. Because you can go now and they say, who sent you? Particularly in this part of the world, these two black people see themselves, they rarely greet each other. Because from experience, you may greet and the person doesn't answer. Anywhere you see arrogance, fear is the foundation. A proud man is proud because he's afraid. Ah, I have a practice with my children. Every time I just— when they gather around me, they are excited. I tell them, pray for me. Both of them have the custom. They just lay and Well, what I want to say now may not make sense to you, but it is African religion, not Christianity, that gives you the impression that laying on of hands is just from top to bottom. A pastor died, in America. He was sick. A guest minister came by the word of knowledge and called the exact sickness and said, God wants to heal it. The pastor had that sickness, but he didn't come out because it's the tradition we built. Once you're a pastor, ah, then shortly after, he died of the same. If we tear away all those walls of the flesh, look, hey, do you know what happens when you hold a fellow believer? Do you know who is beside you? Then you too, do you know who you are?

Do you know what you carry?

That I'm telling you, one time I was going through a lot of internal issues, having burdens I've not been able to deal with and all that. We were going, I think we were walking, just having a walk. One of my mentees just came. And held my hands, and it was like life practically was dispensed. But you know, as I was thinking, I just said thank you. He didn't know why, just held my hands and was— thank you, Jesus. But you know, that guy that held my hands is not a Nigerian, from Kenya. Honor will not let a Nigerian do that. Oh yes, that God can give you a word for someone, you will honor the person so much you won't tell him. True, till the person falls victim of that same thing. Refuse to honor the person beside you tonight in such a way that you deny them of their miracle. Join hands with that person. Say it loud and clear: I give you life. I give you life. See, listen, this thing we are talking about, if I take the next 15 minutes to teach you and we repeat that same statement, we will not be able to teach tonight because the glory of God— and that's not me, that's what you came with, that is inside, that you just need to unleash. I tell you, We have not talked about the anointing of the church. That's the highest form. And that's why it doesn't matter how anointed a man is, if the church is not backing that man, he's vulnerable. If the church covers you, you are covered. What happens in Acts 12? Peter was captured. The Bible said, but the church prayed for him with intercession without ceasing. What happened? God released him that night. This thing, these people we call church, is the most dangerous entity on earth. Hold that person again. Now say, I receive life. I want you to say 3 times the loudest you can. Listen, with intentionality, knowing that you are being ministered to. Say it, I receive life. Say it a second time, I receive life.

Third time, I receive life.

Um, we're here. I'm sorry, Tuesday I might be here again. Because it's like we might have to have some very serious stuff, then I run away on Wednesday. Some of the biggest miracles I've seen did not involve me. Just the people and their faith. Just the people. A woman— I think I shared that story last time I came here— had cancer, liver cirrhosis. Her liver was fried. Belly. There's a doctor here, you know what I mean? The belly was already protruded. All the signs are there. She was dying. She was in the hospital giving her chemo and all those stuff. She was not getting better. She said to them, that's my pastor, take me to him. If you don't take me to him and I die, God will ask from you. So when they saw that, okay, now there's nothing doctors could do, they brought her down. It took more than 4 people to bring her down from the car. So they brought her. I stood in my office, I said, God, may I have faith in what I carry like she does? Because even me now, I'm saying, God, I beg. So they brought her to the reception. That's as far as she could go. She couldn't enter the office space. She was already— while she sat there in front of me, right there in front of all of us, she began to shrink right there. No prayer, nothing. That's her faith. She began to shrink, and they were calling her attention. Can you notice what's happening? Look at, look at the leg. He started laughing, said, I told you guys, I told you guys, a lot can happen amongst us. You know what I found out? God is not interested in Superman, Superman. He wants to show his glory through his church. Yes, sir. Okay, that's by the way. Good evening, Winnipeg. All right, amen. Um, one boy, um, Uchendu, that's his name, amazing young man. He came to OU Predegree years ago. And he had a plan. The plan was that he was going to sleep with several girls, 500 precisely. Serious, right? And he was marking his scorecard. One time he stood in front of his house, his hostel then, saw a very fine girl was climbing bike. He stopped the bike and told the bike, follow her. He didn't know where the girl was, just said follow that girl. Fortunately for him, the girl was coming to church. He followed the girl to church. Fortunately for him, the girl was to lead praise and worship. So he sat down there, she was leaving, I was just looking at her and just hoping. While she was leading praise and worship, that was when God touched him. He didn't even know that a hunter came to church that day to hunt. He was just loving God. And for the first time in this boy's life, because what we noticed in service was that somebody was rolling on the floor, scattering chairs, and say, Jesus, I love you. Nobody knew the back end. So it was right there, he began to cry, gave his life to Christ, accept. Then he now said That's why I came. That's why I came. Okay. Jesus, the lover of your soul, was waiting for you here. And you know, got him to confess Christ, receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, started discipling him. When they finished their program, he began to cry and said, that he doesn't want to go home, that in his house nobody prays. Since he's been born, they've never prayed once. He said, interesting. Let him— taught him the word of God. Said, go home, pray over your family. He got home, got his younger sister, convinced that one that they could have devotion together. They began to have devotion. The mom ran out of the room because they just took it I said to him, you know, your dad must not see. They were, you know, and they were singing, they were singing simple songs, not even anything for the anointing to flow. You understand what I'm saying? As a mom, Tabby, stop that. So as she touched him, the power of God came over her. There she was on the floor, mother rolling and screaming, ah, ah. Then the father came out. What nonsense in my house? You brought this Christian nonsense to my house? Touched the wife and said, will you get up from there? As he touched her, the power of God arrested him too. Father and mother on the floor, children worshiping God in tears. That's how the family got saved that day. The boy, listen, he was not planning to administer any anointing because he have not— it was just God moving through an available vessel. The simplicity of this thing, if only we just allow ourselves to be accepted. He's not, no, no Superman, just God doing his thing. There are many of you here who are trusting God for your siblings to be saved. As we pray tonight, put their names on your lips. You'll be amazed how God will go right there and orchestrate situations to bring them home. Oh yes. And if you came here tonight as one who don't really do this church thing, but you are here just to see what's going on, you're welcome. How did I become a pastor? Have I told you before? Key. My roommate was the key bodies. He took the key of the room to church. I went there, I sat at the back and was saying, idiot, give me key, key, give me key, key.

Just playing.

Our pastor, elderly man, we honored him recently. Baba Mission, we call him. Yonder will know Baba Mission. Do you know him? He's okay. The man just came and pointed at me from the back and said, uh, you malam, what's your name? I said Femi Lazarus. Said okay. After the service, he called the pastor, he said, that's the new pastor of the church. You and who? Is that you guys become pastors here? When you see me is when you make me a pastor. I ran. I'm I'm still running, I'm here. If there's something for you be running from, listen, I don't have to say more than this. This year you will not escape it. See, see, listen guys, that you are here under this atmosphere Says good has done. And there's one more worry I came with. Those of you— don't tell anybody I said this one— particularly guys who are due to marry and have been keeping those girls waiting for years.

I want to hear masculine amen. All the guys who have been afraid, oh Lord, money, this this, this, this year is your year. Amen. Please say amen again. Amen. Some of you, your lips are not moving. Even if you are married, just say amen loud and clear. Amen. Logged in. It's logged in now. All right. How many minutes do we have more? Okay, let me quickly share a story with you. I just— that's the story. If you guys are willing, Tuesday I can be here in the evening and have a very good time. There's a story I want you to see. Um, okay, so let me break this story from an angle that you need to see, and I show you the story. There's this guy among the sons of, um, sons of Isaac. You know, I had two boys, Esau and Jacob. Um, okay, prophecy was given that the elder will serve the younger. That's not a New Testament pattern. For the New Testament, you don't have Esau and Jacob. 'You have the blessed children. No one have to serve anyone.' But that's as far as their theology could handle, because this thing called prophecy, if you understand scripture, it is not, um, it can be overturned. Ezekiel was told he will die. It was cancelled. He spoke to God and God changed it. When God says something, do something about it. Do you understand what I'm saying? If even if somebody walks up to you now and say that you have 2 more years to live, it is so that you can do something about it. When the father, the mother was told that the younger will serve the elder, and the elder will serve the younger. They didn't do anything about it. They accepted it. There was no plea, there was no intercession, there was no question, just acceptance. That's not the way God wants us to live. Um, so you know the story, Genesis 27. Jacob came, lied, deceived the father and then took the blessing of the elder, which he didn't take until Genesis 32. He didn't take it, but that's why he said, bless me, because he knew the blessing was not there. If the blessing was there, you would not spend 7 years slaving for a girl, then they gave you a wrong girl, then you spent another 7 years for the right girl, then shortly after you got the right girl, she died. And the girl you didn't like gave birth to amazing kids, really amazing ones. Like, if you're gonna trace the Christ, it's from the girl you didn't like. Because sometimes we can have the mental construct that if it is not tough, it is not good. So the way you believe something is good is that you, you, it's, it's pride. See, it's pride to think that you have to work for everything. It's because you have strength. Sometimes let God pamper you. Do you understand what I'm saying? If I say to you now, what do you want? Yes, I know. Tell me what you want. Exponential growth is not all me I can give you. What do you want? Permanent residence. Let me keep quiet. This is not Nigeria. If I give someone that open check in Nigeria, the person will say 10 million. Actually, I was expecting a figure. I would have done it. And I wasn't joking. I'm not joking. Um, amen. One of the ways you know that the blessing is not yet activated is that you are still subjected to hustling. This kind of hustling— working hard is not a crime, but this kind is the one that you know there's no grace in it. The Bible called it vain to wake up early and then to eat the bread of sorrow. It's the pattern of the kingdom is to walk from a rest. Do you understand that? Tell your neighbor, rest. That's biblical pattern. To function from what? In fact, the way the book of Matthew, he called it the unforced rhythm of grace. Um, do you know those doors that are made, those iron doors that if you open, you know, those doors, friction, that's why it's giving that sound. If you apply oil and you open it, it goes smoothly. That's what the blessing does. Um, do you know the word blessing? Um, for instance, if you look at Isaiah 10:27, the word used for the anointing there is the word 'rimmon.' It means oil, but it also means Prosperity. So when he says, by the reason of the anointing, the yoke shall be broken, you use that when you are casting out devils. But it's more than that. In fact, some translations use the word fatness. He said the yokes will not fit in because you've grown fat. That's what it means. It's not the anointing on someone else, it's the one on you that breaks the yoke on you. It's not my own anointing that breaks your own yoke, it is your own fatness that makes you too big for the yoke to fit in. So you notice, once you see that pattern, that everything good you have, you work for it. Something is not on you yet. Apologies, I'm sorry, I don't know how that sounds, but I'm not apologetic about it. You know why? Favor pays bills. There should be evidence in your life that God is sponsoring you. How will he call for a thing and not back it up? There must be. And you see, it is the expectations of the righteous that will not be cut short, even if the expectation is zero. If the righteous expects nothing he gets nothing. And the most, the most difficult, particularly as we get holier, you know, this holiness, as we get more holy, we lose willingness. Um, if you are willing and obedient, you eat the good of the land. We, we pay attention towards obedience, but we are not willing. We have been rewired. It's the way our construct works. Okay, so as far as when Isaac was going to get a wife, you know, it was his servant that was told to go get a wife for him. The guy said God of Abraham, my master, please go ahead of me. And if I went to meet Abraham, he said, see, I can't just speak a word. And God had to send his angel to go and organize the situation. Where Isaac was, soft life. And at that moment, for some reasons, that was when Rebecca just felt like fetching water. But that was divine orchestration because prayers had gone ahead. Listen guys, you cannot build expectations if you are not praying. So the reason why it looks like many times we don't have— the reason why many Christians don't have what they need. Um, one time God told me to give out a car. For about 2 weeks, I kept the key of the car above my bed and I just left it there. And I said, God, whoever it is, oh please, let the person's thoughts just cross my mind. People are around me who are trekking, but you can be trekking that you need a car doesn't mean you have registered the need with God. Ah, it is not the need that is obvious that he meets. It is the one you have registered with him. It can be obvious. Uh-huh. So what have you told him in prayers? No. So look at it. Rebecca just came. Fetched water and this, this, that. They went to see her family, blah, blah, blah, before everything was aligned. Jacob, no. I will walk. He said it himself. No prayer. No prayer. No, no, 7. I will give you 7 years. That girl, that, yeah, that one, that Rachel, that one, 7 years. They package one and give him at night. He woke up the following morning, Onyemun came out with a shout, "Eh! What did you do?" He said, "You know, yeah, I mean, yeah, that's what you get. You know, this is the elder, we can't just give you the younger one." He said, "7 more years." And he did it. After that 7 years, Rachel, um, interesting lady, not really stable but interesting. He loved her, he poured all his love on her. She gave him 2 amazing sons, Joseph and Benjamin, solid guys. Um, then she died. She died on the way. So he poured all that love on Joseph, and that's the story I want to share with you tonight. He loved him so much that that love was going to destroy Joseph. He loved him, and he loved him in a way that he was flaunting it before his brothers. That this guy, this is my special one, I just love him. He made him a coat of many colors and gave him in front of his brothers and didn't give the brother anything. Even God, even God doesn't like such. And let me say this to you, um, if God is going to go far with your life, one of the things that is so important he does is that allows you to be forgotten. God doesn't pamper men into destiny. Doesn't do that. Every time, um, Joseph, my love, my beloved. Ah, Joseph, my beloved. No, no, no, this is not the guy that is going to become— nah, it's not going to get anywhere. And you start seeing Joseph talk with so much arrogance. Arrogance. Look at Genesis 37. Funny conversation. Look at from Genesis 37, let's start from verse 3. If you are there, say amen. Alright, if they can project it. Now look at it. Israel loved Joseph more than all his children because he was the son of his old age and made him a what? Coat of many colors. And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him and could not speak peaceably unto him. And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren, and they hated him yet the more. And now look at it. And he said unto them, Ye, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed. Look at verse 7. For behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and lo, my sheaf arose and stood upright, and behold, your sheaves stood round about and made obeisance to my sheaf. Let's read another translation so you can understand. In Amplified, it says, we brothers were binding sheaves in the field, and behold, my sheaf arose and stood upright, and behold, your sheaves stood round about my sheaf. And bow down. If your own younger brother, the lastborn of yours, comes to tell you that, what will you do? He just walks up to you and say, bro, I dreamt and I saw that you were bowing down to me. The way this thing is going is like I'm going to really rule you. Or you call him to one side. And say, come, I want to tell you something. And you look for a very good knock and you just, yeah, just sign on his head and say, you don't talk like that again. The guy was just talking anyhow, say, all of you, you were bowing down. You look at that arrogance, even God wasn't pleased with it. Listen to what I'm saying, guys. The shape you are when you receive heavenly visions from God about your destiny, it is not in that same shape you fulfill it. That thing you are receiving is an invitation to where it will pound flesh out of you, because you think that people who have been existing and laboring before you, who have been serving, you think God will just bring you from nowhere and put you right in front of all of them as what? Don't you know you become deadly to yourself? You become dangerous and arrogant. If you are the best that exists, don't you know it's a problem? It is important that in your lifetime God shows you those who are better prepared So if he lifts you up, you know it is grace. He can bring you up and you feel, I'm the best of my kind, and you begin to speak with pride and arrogance in such a way that, uh-uh, it becomes dangerous to put power in a man's hands like this. And it will take several years to beat pride out of that boy. One time he even said he saw the father and the mother. It was that time that the father now cautioned him and said, oh, it's like this thing is really— is getting— it's getting out of hand now. Are you still with me now? Yes, sir. There are, there are two kinds of trouble. There is the one that is an attack. There is the one that is because of the kind of destiny you have. You must be able to tell the difference. How many of you are watching the African Cup of Nations? Okay, those of you who are watching it, you marry this year. Amen. I'm just joking. I want to show you something. Uncle, please come now. Do you know that if he's here And this is a football field. Please come, Yonda, please come. And this is also another person here. This is a defender. Um, please come, brother. There are players, listen, that their mentality— God help you, they catch you. The way they will mark you, they will hang that leg for like 2 months. They are coming to all the problem, all the misery of their life, they want to pour it right there. That guy you call is actually possessed. Ramos or what's his name, he's not a good person. Many of these people have— they've sent people out of football, they damage their leg, they spend their life battling with injury. But what's the problem? The one who is not holding ball will call his peace grace. And look at the one who is holding ball like he must be doing something wrong for them to be attacking him. It's because the ball is on his leg. The day it comes to your leg, you will know the peace you have is not for the wisdom you have. It's because there's nothing worth attacking yet. The day it comes to your leg, you will now— you will respect those who have been attacked that you mocked. Wait till you receive the ball. And Joseph was saying rubbish. It was not just his brothers. We saw the brothers that these are going to be problems and threats to his stuff. But there's also another guy listening. We didn't talk about that guy. That, oh no, no, What is moving? What moved from Abraham to Isaac to Jacob? Hey, this is the guy now, cut him down. And that's the enemy. That's the reason why stop opening your mouth to talk anyhow about what God has shown you if you have not built capacity to defend it. Do you think the enemy is just going to cross his legs and say, oh, God has sent you to take this city, go ahead? The moment you receive that vision, ball is on your leg. God help you, you don't know how to run with it. Please sit for a while, thank you. And just talking anyhow. When, when you read that book, don't be quick to judge his brothers. Listen to Joseph. He was very stupid. So I saw they cautioned him. He came back again, said, I saw another dream, guys, there's another one. Ah, this time around is, is something. What are you talking about? Let's read 8. That same Genesis chapter number 37, and look at verse 8. Look at their response in verse 8. And his brethren said unto him, shall thou indeed reign over us, or shall thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more, because they understood, they knew what was coming from Abraham. They knew Look at it. And, um, they hated him yet the more for his dreams and for his words. Verse 9: And he dreamed yet another dream and told it his brethren. He does— yeah, doesn't send you. And said, behold, I have dreamed a dream more. Behold, the sun, the moon, And the 11 stars made obeisance to me. Eh, now he has included sun and moon. Now they told it to his father, and his father rebuked him and said unto him, what is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow ourselves to you? So Whatever made his brothers angry so that the father too was angry. That, ah, if he say you bad die, say shame. Let's, let's put it in your back again, you know. 'Adao onkulos.' Myself, think about it, guys, because you know the father's life too didn't go well. Yes, that man he was talking about had scars. Jacob had scars of wasted years. He had a thigh pulled out of joint on the path to the blessing. He had stories that his children could refer to. They were obvious that there was a bit of disconnect between the exact flow from Abraham to Isaac He became chaotic on his father. So the man had scars. Are you now trying to flaunt it before me? Because I have scars, you are now better? And I want to beg you guys, particularly those of you who have parents who failed, if you despise them, You will find out it is not easy. Yorubas have an adage. It's not scripture and it's not doctrine. They'll say a child that said his father didn't prosper is at it. And this has nothing to do with money. You can look at either of your parents and say, My dad, he was cheating. You mock him. Listen, guys, anyone you fail to forgive, it becomes easy for you to repeat their mistakes. One of the ways the devil recycles patterns transgenerationally is through unforgiveness. As you build up resentment and mockery to mock them, You fail to prepare, you become susceptible to it. Um, get to a point where it occurs to you it is God who keeps us. Unto him that is able to keep us from falling and present us spotless before the Father. Are you following what I'm saying here? Um, I shared a story, um, the story of Jimmy Swaggart. And Tim Baker— Tim Baker, or is it Jim Baker? Um, you know, very messy story. And if you look at the American church, the things that happened there, um, yeah, same thing, same game with the Nigerian church, same game. Issues everywhere, fight, fight, fight, scandal and all that. Same game. He wrapped up many things quickly. And if— let's leave it. All right, so I watched the interview when Jim Bakker was arrested, sentenced to prison. A foremost preacher of his days, sentenced to several years in prison. They were asking Jimmy Swaggart that when Jim Bakker is now released from prison, Will he be integrated back to the church? And I watch how Jimmy Swaggart was speaking with confidence. Eh, yeah, if he's indeed repentant, if he's indeed— hey! The issue is not that what he's saying is wrong. It's the posture. It's the posture of the fact that we are above this. Few months later, they caught Timmy Swaggart that he's been sleeping with a prostitute long before Tim Baker's home. So Ketu can be calling pot black because they've not caught you yet. Usually we don't believe it's a problem till a person is caught. Um, one of the ways the devil mark people for elimination is when they approach the issue of weak believers without grace. It is the merciful that will find mercy. You are in a local assembly Somebody has made a mistake. The person may not even make a mistake, might be living a bad life, and now something has happened, is something of shame and all that. The Bible said let those who have the spirit of meekness restore that person. What does that mean? An awareness of the fact that if I am standing is because God keep— God has kept me. You see, never let that thing leave your heart. Joseph was approaching the father with the mindset believing that I'm better, I'm going to be greater. A young minister can start out the ministry and look at the likes of Pastor Femi Lazarus and just say in their heart, no, no, no, what all these guys have done, no, no, no, in our own time I'm going to do it in 10 years. In here, they just say clap for Julius. You must be able to tell the difference when you are speaking words of faith and when it's words of boastfulness. Oh, don't worry, and I will end all this pattern. I will change everything. No, no, we are going to— our generation will be different. Eh, are you sure? Are you sure you are better than what you have mocked? Are you sure you've received enough grace? Careful, be very, very careful. If you have parents that you despise because of their mistakes, forgive them. That's the way to detach yourself from that. Just forgive them. Just look at them and say, this pattern ends with me. I let go. Um, if It doesn't happen here, but I know it happened in Fort McMurray at some point. And also when you can see an entire street will be on fire, all it takes is for house to be close to each other so something leaves and come to that place and continues. Offense is what links generations in weakness. It brings the fire into yours. Go and listen to my teaching titled Gilead. I shared the story about Ahithophel. When Absalom wanted to destroy the father, Ahithophel joined Absalom and gave Absalom a counsel. He said, I want you to do something. Gather your father's concubine, go to the top of his house, sleep with them there. Yeah, and we didn't understand why till we found out that, oh, Aitofel was the father of Eliam, the father of Bathsheba, where David slept with his granddaughter. Take his wives there, go and sleep with them there. For years he was David's special advisor, but he was bitter, and Absalom did it. She lied against him and said, look at that boy, he's a bad boy, see what he wanted to do. Potiphar could have killed him and nobody will ask why. He's a slave. People kill slaves anyhow. Could have killed— why didn't he think about killing him? There is the grace that is not dramatic, that just veils people's mind about what they can do and can't do. Your life is not for anyone to take. That grace shields It just, it just won't occur. Do you understand what I'm saying? There are certain things. Maybe on Tuesday. Tuesday, is it logged in?

On Tuesday I'm gonna quite touch on Let's touch some deeper stuff because if you understand this thing, you know in the spirit realm there's no coincidence. One time I was praying in church— no, I wasn't praying in Ibadan, I was in church office and I just lost my peace. I lost my peace, began to pray. What's going on? Oh Lord, everywhere are people, I cover them with the blood of Jesus. Femi Lazarus. Uh-uh, it wasn't something. That burden kept increasing. I left the office, entered the church, began to pray. Then I looked in front, saw one of my spiritual daughters shaking, shaking. She said, I and the man just passed beside each other split seconds, now he's dead. Okay, that's why that burden came, um. Our pastors came to see me in the house, came from all their location to Abuja. There was about 5 of them. They were talking to me, stood in front of me, were talking to me, and as I was looking at them, I saw a frame fell from the wall. I said, stop, the devil is trying to kill somebody. Began to rebuke. In less than few minutes, just saw breaking news online, a car brickfield, ran into our church compound and broke the fence and still dived into the church right there. So you understand, um, that something happened and none could see it is not the pattern of the Kingdom. If you get used to that dimension, you are in trouble because you subscribe to 'we don't know what can happen tomorrow.' Can I tell you what the Christian community ought to look like? You know, let's see, like what you guys were saying, I think it happened also It happens everywhere. Somebody just stand by the roadside, a car kills the person. If, if somebody is going somewhere to go and die, it's clear in the spirit realm he's going to go and die. Anybody who is in that realm, not even a Pastor, just by conscious manifestation of your sonship. And I want us to be conscious of our sonship, that you can see a person and cancel verdict of death. Believers, it's not for apostles and bishops. It ought to be a consciousness that nothing dies around you. Nobody dies in my family without— no, no, no. Can you say that again? Nobody just dies in my family. Nobody is permitted to exit this place. Nothing dies around me. None of my children, none of my siblings, not my parents. No one is permitted to go. It ought to be your consciousness as a gatekeeper. Do you understand what I'm saying here? Be conscious of it. If something happens around you and you were not shown, be angry. That shows you are interested. That shows you know you are right. So they threw the guy to prison. In prison was where he learned brokenness. When he was in prison, he was the class captain. Say, ah, this leadership thing is following me everywhere. Some two guys came to meet him, shared their dreams with him. He interpreted Then you, they will lift your head up. You, they will cut off your head. And he quickly built relationship with the one that they will lift the head up and say, please, when you get there, abe, reason my matter, reason my matter. Just tell Ogafiro, so he will help me out. But that's not the pattern. That one got there and forgot divinely There are people who need to forget you because the process is not complete. Um, a while later, Pharaoh dreamt, and they said, we need someone. Can't say I remember. There's this guy, anything that is hard, he will interpret it. He said, go call him. Potiphar locked the person up. Pharaoh said, go bring him out. Who argue? Who owns Potiphar? When they called Joseph, he said, wait. He shaved. Said, give me a new cloth. He appeared well. He had learned something. He had learned patience. Let patience have a perfect work in you, that you may be whole and entire, wanting nothing. He had learned that you don't rush before greatness. He had learned preparation. It's not just enough to deliver, it matters how you deliver. He had learned all those things. He's been forgotten before, so he knows that this one is not man, say for this God. So he came out prepared and solved the problem, told Pharaoh what to do. He said, look for a discreet man, appoint over this and all that. What was Egypt enjoying at that point? Abrahamic blessing. All nations now were about to be stranded. And Egypt alone will be— should die even taller than all of them. Not because Egypt is smart, not because Egypt is different, but one, just one out of the seed of Abraham is in Egypt. And the owner of that blessing will later come for bread that their own made available. Joseph, you are not a refugee, you are not a tourist, you are the answer. And if you think it's a joke There's only bread in Egypt because you came. Unfortunately, is a pattern. We don't value our own till they produce it somewhere else. I was just praying and it came to my heart. If you carry that grace of Joseph here, I'm announcing to you that the journey is not going to be easy for you because the people that the anointing is meant for primarily will sell you, and you must forgive. Let me give you an advice: if what you carry is not being recognized in a place, don't die there. Don't die there, because if you die, they'll still mock you. It's a pattern across scriptures. Everywhere the blessing sits, it is not always recognized. Everywhere. Sometimes he allowed something come, just a wind blow, so you can know is, is, is God is rechoosing friends for you. And you now, you— we saw that the Jacob Jacob, Jacob now sent his other sons out. He couldn't produce amongst you till he went out. Sometimes it's the pattern of African country. The same people doing those things powerfully elsewhere, if you put them at home, they die. We sniff them, we kill them. Why is it that honor is only there when there's distance? I've come to announce to the Josephs in this house today, you have one mission. Bet it. That's the mission. Don't insist that you must bet it where they will kill you. But bet it. And when you finally bet it, you must understand that you didn't bet it for yourself. There is one among those who sold you that you must still preserve. And you are not going to come out of wilderness till God sees that your enemies are safe around you. Okay. Um, just imagine, think about it, that when Joseph was still angry was when he became prime minister in house of Reuben and co. Now show up and say that we are your brothers. Cut his head. When Jacob was blessing Joseph, hear what he said. You know there's something about that guy, but he wasn't ready for— but it took time, it took time When they took Joseph from Israel, Israel became Jacob. Let me show you. Turn your Bibles with me. Um, Genesis Chapter number 43. Um, just a moment. Okay, sorry, Genesis 45. And I want to say this prophetically to every Joseph Who is far away from home, go back. See, I know you have suffered. I know you've been betrayed. I know you've been disappointed. I know those who ought to recognize what you carry, those who sold you. But you must remember that God is sending you forth as a pattern. If that family will be united, it will be because you forgive. If you don't forgive, and sometimes it is a ticking clock. If either of your parents die in the process without being able to gather them together, the pattern continues. Unite when Jacob can still call his sons. See, I don't have to shake my head here and roll on the floor to know this is a word from the Lord. I know you have suffered, but understand that Jacob has found mercy. Forgive him.

Which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived. Verse 28. And Israel said— so Israel was still there, but they took his joy. It looked like that thing died within him. Rachel gone, Joseph gone. It looked like everything he ever loved dies. And in his lifetime, he didn't know he will ever see Joseph When they told him that Joseph is still there— I don't know if you saw the video of the Baba that we honored in Kano. Baba said that this is deliverance. And I was looking at him because there's a pattern we have built that we believe grace only resides around prominence. That if a person is not popular, there's no grace. We, we miss— we, we miss giants. And he said, for 53 years I've done this, nobody has come to say thank you. What happened in that hall that night is the revival of the Spirit of Jacob that Israel now speaks. Sometimes all it takes for Israel to be revived is recognition that I know you may not say, 'Thus says the Lord,' but the way you used to pray for us when we are growing, I recognize that there's something here. I'm going through Job speak a word, the spirit of Israel revives. Sometimes all it takes is for a wife to recognize what is on the husband, for the husband to recognize what is on the wife, for parents to recognize what is on their own child, for members to recognize what is on their pastor. And Israel said In fact, the word there— I don't know where they are getting all this scripture— said, "It is enough, I will now go." By the time he appeared before Pharaoh, he was the one blessing Pharaoh. He had entered that posture again of the Abrahamic, because Joseph remembered home. When Moses came and began to speak about Joseph, see what Moses said: There are Josephs here, and you are the one God has sent me to. Deuteronomy 33. All this on the head of Joseph, all this on the head of the one— the word— there's the word separated from his brothers. They didn't sell you, you were separated. If you didn't go through what you went through, the rejection, the the betrayal, the hatred, you would not have been useful for yourself. You would have been a spoiled brat. You didn't suffer, you were separated. And you carry a leadership grace that will only materialize through forgiveness. The days of licking wounds are over. You have an assignment. So now you choose vengeance or destiny. Sometimes to answer that, you cry, because there are people that you have vowed never to relate with, but God is still sending you to them. God, do you want to do? And if you don't do it, he will pick someone else like he never even called you. One of the funny pattern about Joseph is that because the path is a lonely one, so it's possible to forget that he began with a calling and just feel miserable. To every Joseph who are in their wilderness phase here, who feel lost, forgotten, forsaken, downtrodden, rejected, hated, confused, who don't even know what to do.

Clarity, clarity, clarity.

You are assuming the posture you have in destiny. You are not lost, you are not witless. You are entering back into the order of your ordination. You are entering back into the awareness of what your calling is. Joseph's. Be mounted with wings again. Be clothed with strength again. Be clothed with honor again. Now, did you notice that the garment of many colors that was stripped from him. Pharaoh put it back. Now a more glorious one. Sometimes the problem is not the garment, but you wore it too early. But I hear the word in my spirit: now is the time. Now is the time. Now is the time. Now is the time. Can I give you 2 minutes to pray in the Holy Ghost, guys? People you have stopped praying for, you just notice the urge to go back and intercede for them again. Oh yes, there are people you've said, no, no, no, do yourself and just kill yourself. And God said, no, no, go back to the place of prayer. All eyes closed. There are two people here who used to be in ministry. You don't even want to have anything to do with it anymore. Nothing. You have a work, and I've not changed my mind about you, says the Lord. Take back what is yours. There are lives waiting for your manifestation, for the earnest expectation of creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God. Take— ah, ah, what the devil is trying to do is to weave complications. Who is this person? Weave so much complications, compli— things from one to another to another just so you can't get back.
