THE LIFTER OF MEN || PROPHETIC PRAYER CONTACT || 22ND AUGUST 2024

The video opens with an exuberant worship session and a series of repeated blessings to the name of Jesus. The speaker, representing Ambience TV and Femi Lazarus, moves into a prophetic prayer segment that interweaves personal testimonies of shame, family rejection, debt, poverty, and social stigma. He recounts two harrowing real‑life stories—a neighbor’s brother who died after being ignored, and an epileptic boy who was buried alive by his own family—to illustrate how reproach can drive people to extreme abandonment. The speaker then leads an extended, repetitive prayer asking God to remove the "garment of reproach," shame, affliction, and debt from listeners’ lives, invoking the name of Jesus repeatedly. He expands the prayer to address financial bondage, describing debt as a form of slavery, and shares vivid anecdotes about borrowing, street vendors, and the psychological toll of being indebted. The sermon shifts to a call for community engagement: viewers are urged to watch a linked Ambience TV video, comment, follow on Instagram, and subscribe to the channel. Finally, the speaker offers a concise gospel presentation (1 Cor 15) and leads an invitation prayer for salvation, encouraging new believers to scan a barcode to join a discipleship platform. The video ends with blessings and a promise of future prophetic sessions.

Amen, amen. Good morning, everyone. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. You know, I just wanted you to soak in that worship. Holy is the Lamb. Glory to God, glory to God, glory to God. The Lord is worthy of all our praise. He's worthy to be praised. Glory to God, glory to God. I'm so, so excited this morning. And let me say this even as we start. That if you have not taken your time to stream that worship, then you might be missing so much. Yeah, um, I mean, the power of God is on it to heal, you know, for the place of prayer and intimacy and intimacy. Glory to God. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Can we lift our hands this morning and bless the name of the Lord from the very depth of our heart and just give him praise. And we give him all the glory and honor that is due to his name because he deserves it. And I want us to return all honor to him. Just, just bless him from the very depth of our heart and give him praise. All right, I want us to give him praise. We bless your name, Jesus. Bless him, bless him. Let's thank him, let's thank him, let's thank him for yet another morning, another time in his presence to, to, to pray. Let's thank him for the opportunity that is given to us. Oh, Reko Siklendero, go shente. Mente costa plata, erogo shente. Rente que erogo shente, que erogo shente. Rende que erogo shente, erogo shente. Rente que rusta clapene, erogo shente. Rente que erogo shente, que erogo kashate. Oh, we bless your holy name. Oh, blessed be the name of the Lord. There's none like you, Lord. There's none like you, Lord. There's none like you, Lord. You are not a man. You are the God who opens doors no one can shut. Oh, we bless your holy name. We thank you. We thank you. We thank you. We thank you. We thank you. We thank you. Blessed be your holy name, Lord. There's none like you, Lord. Rako sinde ogoshite. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. There's somebody connected this morning online, you are trying to just separate yourself. There's a very, very, very shameful family event that is going on. I mean, family, this is not— this is, this is your family, like your siblings and your parents. There's a very shameful case going on, and you have been, you know, racking your head out to exempt yourself. The Lord said, you need not bother, I will exempt you from that flow. All right, the Lord said, you need not to bother, I will exempt you from that flow. Glory to God. Thank you, Lord. One more time, can we just bless the name of the Lord? Can we just thank him and just bless his holy name? Oh, we thank you, Lord. We honor you. We honor you, Jesus. Rente kero go shente ro go shente. Oh, blessed be your holy name. There's none like you, Lord. There's none like you, Lord. There's none like you, Lord. There's none like you, Lord. There's none like you, Lord. Oh, you are the God who opens doors and no one can shut. When you say it, it comes to pass. We bless your holy name. We bless your holy name. We bless your holy name. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Now this morning, amen, um, we are going to pray. We are going to pray, and I'm going to— although, um, Our PPC this morning may be quite brief, more than the usual, but let's maximize the time to be able to get so much done. And I want you to please pay attention, all right? Um, I was recounting this morning two, um, real life events that I have witnessed that has shown to me that— please get what I want to say in context. Don't quote me out of context. If a man is not lifted, even those of his household will take him as an enemy. Please get what I'm saying now, all right? Um, and don't get me out of context. If a man remains small people may be making excuse that is in a season, but if it is protracted for a while, even those of his household will take him as an enemy. Let me give you two instances. The first is, um, I think I've shared this story maybe on our church platform before. One afternoon, years back, I was, um, I mean, as a teenager, I was sent to go get some groceries for the family. And while I was passing, I saw a man who I knew to be the younger brother of one of our neighbors. He was knocking the door to enter the house of the brother. All right, while he was knocking that door, um, so I just greeted him and he answered faintly. Then I left, and I just bought what I wanted to buy and then returned back. Then getting back to the house, I saw a crowd, and I just passed through. Then I saw that in front of the door where he was standing, there was water on the floor, and I could perceive the smell of aizar. So that was when I asked questions. Then I— someone said that while the guy was knocking the door, he fell down and died. I said, what, the guy I just greeted now? He said, yeah, said the guy fell down and died. I said, died? So where is he? Where is the body? Guess what they said? They got a, a taxi and just stashed the body at the boot of the taxi, and then they went to bury him. I said, hold on a minute, bury him? Yes. You know what I found out? If the guy was doing better, they will not conclude he's dead. I mean, it's— I was thinking about it, that people of one's household can actually get to a point where they prefer the person gone. I understand it is wickedness of humanity, but I mean, that, that didn't make sense to me. It didn't make sense. In case if that looks, um, like nothing, let me share another one. And this is, for me, is like the most painful experience I've had. There was a boy around us, um, this was in Ile-Ife years back, 2009 or thereabout. All right, I want to be sure that I'm precise. Um, the boy was epileptic and, um, occasionally would have that seizure. He will have that seizure and he will foam, and he had marks around his body because he might sometimes be on the road and he will hit his head against the road. Against the, the tar road, and he usually bleed all over. And I guess the family at some point were tired of the, the shame that comes with it. So the boy was in the house, the father and the grandma were digging a pit at the back. I'm showing you real life event. And I remember I've even gone there to go check for him, and I saw that, oh, there was something that they covered with mat. But what the guy didn't know was that the pit that they dug was for him. They were just waiting for— because usually when he had the seizure and foam, sometimes he would be unconscious for a while. And when he had that seizure and he foamed and he was unconscious, guess what they did? They carried him and put in that grave and buried. So we didn't see him for some days, then weeks, and then we're asking. They will say he traveled this, and then we had to change it. Where is he? And then got the police involved. That was when it was discovered that they buried him alive. The man at the Pool of Bethesda made a very shocking revelation that we didn't pay attention to. When Jesus said, do you want to be made whole? He said, I have no man. There comes a time that the problem of a man get to the point that people don't want to associate with the person again. These are, these are real life events I've shared with you now. Different places. One happened in the north, the other one in southwest, and both family members was invited to pray for A very wealthy man, years back, he's been paralyzed. Man was even giving me a house. Come and take this, my house. I don't want. Spoke with him in his parlor. When time came for me to pray for him, the wife was cooking in the kitchen just beside us. The son was in his room playing game. So he was calling them for us, for them, for us to pray. The wife was right there, she could hear us, she didn't answer. The son was right there, the curtain of his room was open, he could hear us, but he didn't answer. The man looked at me and I saw tears dropped. And he said, in the days I was strong and fine and making money for them, who could treat me like this? People of God, we are going to pray this morning. Reproach gets to a point that people of one's household don't want to have anything to do with the person again. Some will even save the person's contact with don't answer. Failure is an orphan. Everybody is the father of the successful. We're going to pray for ourselves this morning. Anything that represents reproach in my life, let it end today. Everything that represents reproach in my life Enough is enough of shame. Please take the garment of reproach away. Jesus, thou Son of David, help me take away the garment of reproach, that which has made me to be isolated and alienated. Take it away. Lift your voice and pray. Take away the garment of reproach. Take away the garment of reproach. Take away the garment of reproach in the name of Jesus. Take away the garment of reproach. Take away the garment of reproach. Enough is enough of shame. Enough is enough of being isolated. Take away the garment of reproach. Take away the garment of reproach. Take away the garment of reproach from my life. Help me, help me. Everything representing shame, please Lord, let them leave my life. Let them leave my life. Take away the garment of reproach. Enough is enough. Put an end to reproach in my life. Put an end to shame in my life. Put an end to reproach in my life. Put an end to shame. Father my God, take away the garment of reproach. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. I didn't hear amen to that. People of God, let me tell you something. There's nothing beautiful about shame. There's nothing fantastic about failure. It's a very, very pathetic story. I've had cases where I went to pray for somebody in the hospital. And the family member will say, 'Echa, yo mo lo,' that is, 'Let this person go.' Sometimes you hear statements like, 'Diwala is too much.' I shared it with you. A child was sick. I called my own spiritual daughter who was sick in the hospital. I wanted to check how she was doing. And I heard a woman crying in the background. Said the child was sick. Said the doctor will not admit the child because of money. I said, let them admit the child, bills on me. And they called back that the woman said I should not bother paying the hospital, I should just give her the money. Once hunger is the order of the day, people enter survival mode. In the Bible, some were eating their children. They give me the money, the child would have died. Say the child is the future. Say if there's— if they die now, there's no future. Full of God, there's nothing fantastic about reproach. It doesn't matter how you want to put it, there's nothing fantastic about backwardness. We're going to pray. Everything representing reproach and backwardness in my life, my Father, my God, put an end to them today. Put an end to them today. You have just 30 seconds to pray that prayer. Put an end to them today. Put an end to them today! Put an end— put an end to dem todae roko sendero go shente renderego senteo goshinte? "Put an end—" —to 'dem toddeh." "...put an eend" ..."toddee?" ...put anoond... ....todaaayyoo n'ndem todbee..." In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Let's say amen. Now look up, everybody. Have you, have you ever been indebted before? Eh, have you, have you ever been indebted before? Some of you here have not been there. Have you been indebted before? Eh, it is when you owe money, you know what the Bible means, that the borrower is a slave to the lender. Loan organization will be telling you that we publish your name. There's nothing fantastic about borrowing. Huh? Was it— I shared the story when I was scammed. Maybe me, I went to borrow ₦50,000. Because we wanted to make money. They call pastors meeting like this. I now stood in the middle of the pastors meeting. I now look like a thief. When I look back, I say 50k. There's nothing fantastic about debt. In our street like that, we have two vendors selling something. If you go to the left towards campus gate, Mommy Favour. If you go to the right, that's go and follow the long road, Mamada. Mommy Favour sells noodles, um, and the likes. Pepe Terra. Even if you don't know Pepe Terra, you see Oh my, that was the king those days. People don't— oh God, my God. So when you take noodles from this woman, you take batch one, one Hungry Man pack, or I don't, I don't, I don't think they've been doing— I don't know those ones, but she'll buy noodles and buy egg to jump the old stuff, or buy spag. If you have done Batch 1, Batch 2, you will now be afraid of passing that place because the day you pass, they'll say, Pastor, you've not paid. You know, you now pass long road because of ₦120. Then some other time you have borrowed, you have taken credit here for Mommy Femi Lazarus. You are also taking credit here for Mama Ada. You now sit down in your room and be calculating Ah, how do I go out now? Sometimes you will have to move what will happen in the day for evening so that you can pass and nobody will know you are passing. A borrower is a slave to the lender. There's nothing fantastic about owing people. The person you are owing can take your joy at any time. You can't take— you can be in church service and text message just enter. I said just look towards your right at the back, and then the person is looking at you and waving their hand. There's nothing glorious about that. If there's anyone under the sound of my voice who is indebted, God will bring you out. Amen to that. I said God will bring you out. If there's anyone here who is indebted, you are coming out in the name of Jesus. There's nothing fantastic about debt. There's nothing. It will shock you that even those who used to respect you will begin to treat you like trash. Once your wahala is too much, you greet somebody and say, sister, good morning. Say, I don't have money. Say, I'm broke too. I'm— because they know, and true to it. Are you, are you with me? I remember how myself and my friend will make eba and trust God that our neighbor will come on time. Let me share a story with you to let you know that poverty is a very useless disease. If you like, say anything against it. I have— there was a boy that was staying in our house, in our student house on campus. We were broke, but they were broker, if there's a word. That's just— don't mind my— I'm just trying to say it in a— with gravitas. They were more broke, so they devised a means that since it's like when everybody, everybody together, they now devise a means to survive that they are not going to eat with anybody. So when they make rice, the soup that they make with the rice is only pure, only pepper, no tomatoes, and it's the hot pepper, habanero pepper, hot one. And then they will pour it on top and quickly stir together. If you say that you, you have madness and you want to join them in eating that food, it will look as though you swallow water from hellfire. It will— and they'll be eating pepper, will be coming out of their nose, coming out of their water, coming out of their eyes, and to be eating That's, that's the power of lack. Lack can make you creative. It can bring out some genius in you. You'll be shocked. You can bring out genius, genius in you. There's nothing glorious about it, beloved. That when people see that you have sent a message, you have reached out, they know you're about to borrow again. There's nothing fantastic about it. Jabez cried, and the Bible said he was still more honorable than his brethren, and his brethren didn't cry. He said, oh Lord, that you will change my story, enlarge my coast. I'm going to give you 2 minutes to pray the prayer of Jabez this morning. Father, change my story. Change my story. And when I ask you to pray this prayer, that doesn't mean you will not play your own part, but it will— it will now bless it. Change my story. Change my story. Put an end to affliction in my life. Change my story. Please pray. Please pray. Change my story. Change my story. Change my story. Put an end to affliction in my life. Change my story. Put an end to affliction in my life. Change my story. Put an end to shame Put an end to affliction. Put an end to reproach. Father, please change my story. Put an end to my life. Put an end to affliction. Put an end to it, Lord. Help me. Please, if you can shout where you are, please shout: Jesus, thou Son of David, come to my rescue! Let my story change this season! Show me what I must do, Lord! Show me the part I must play! Show me my part, Lord! Change my story! Change my story! Put an end to my affliction. Change my story. Put an end to my affliction. Enough is enough. Enough is enough. Jesus, thou Son of David. Help me, help me change my story. Wipe away my tears, wipe away my tears, wipe away my tears. Let affliction end. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Amen. Now look up, everybody. There was a guy that was born blind. Are you here? Yes, sir. In the Bible. And, um, when Jesus healed him, the Bible said that the Pharisees began to argue. Is this the guy that was— that used to be here? Is this not the one? Is he the one And the guy had to say that, I am the one. And they began to say, how did Jesus heal you? Try to castigate all those things. The guy said, oh, see, listen, I don't know what you are talking about. One thing I know is that I used to be blind and now I can see. That's my own concern. Whether or not it is Jesus, I don't know. I know I used to be blind and now I can see. Let me tell you something, the one of the most beautiful experience in life is when the one who has tasted suffering also tastes change of story. Yes, sir. Are you here? That when the one who has tasted what also tastes change. You know, I, I said something yesterday on— was it Tuesday when I was preaching in church? That, see, it is possible that you— 10 years ago there were places you were— you used to borrow credit, and even now you can't go back again because you still borrow. No story changes with time. Once there's an intervention, the reproach is taken away. And I, I want to really pray for you this morning that everything representing reproach, it is stripped off you in the name of Jesus. Everything representing reproach, it is stripped off you now. It is stripped off you. Whether reproaching your health, I'm seeing somebody, and what I'm seeing is a bit strange. I'm seeing sore, I'm seeing sore like an injury, like sore. I think a scratching that becomes sore in somebody's private part. I command it to dry up now. You know, there's a way somebody will be sick that the fellow will start talking like doctors because the fellow now knows several drugs and several medications because of sickness. There's a way somebody will be sick And even in the hospital, all nurses knows the person and the bed the person prefers. There's nothing glorious about it. Every reproach that has always kept you down, I command an end comes to their reign now, in the name of Jesus. Anyone who is live on this prayer platform this morning who has been confused not knowing what to do. In the name of Jesus Christ, I decree and declare in this season receive insight. Amen. In this season receive insight. Amen. In this season receive insight. Amen. In this season receive insight. Amen. You will know what to do. Amen. And when you do it, it will work. Amen. You will know what to do. Amen. And when you do it, it will work. Amen. You will not be confused as touching what to do. Amen. In the name of Jesus. Amen. In the areas you have failed and scorned, this time around you will succeed. Amen. In the name of Jesus. Amen. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Amen. People of God, God will change our story. I will play our own part too, in the name of Jesus. Now let me say this, I beg you in the name of Jesus Christ, take prayer seriously even as you take your own work seriously. Paul plants, Apollo waters, but God still gives the increase. You see that? I'm praying for you, and I can't wait to see you tomorrow. Have a very beautiful day full of mighty interventions. Love you guys so much. Bye-bye. Many have asked, how do I give my life to Christ? I want to make it very, very simple and introduce you today to the person of Jesus. Paul, speaking in 1 Corinthians chapter number 15 from verse 1, said, I deliver unto you the gospel that you have received and also believed, and wherein you stand, how that Christ came and died for our sins according to scriptures, and he was buried according to scriptures, and he rose on the third day according to the scriptures. When he died, he died for our sins. When he was buried, he was buried, and the Bible said he went into the lower part of the earth and set the captives free. And when he rose on the third day, he rose for our justification. And now we are seated with Christ far above principalities and powers. It is believing in his sacrificial works and his resurrection that gets us saved. So you believe in your heart unto righteousness, and you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior unto salvation. The moment you do this, whether you feel it or not, according to scriptures, you have been saved. So today, if you are giving your life to Christ today and you want to give your life to Jesus and accept him as your Lord. I'd like to lead you to Christ, and that is exactly why I'm here this morning. You want to say these words after me. Lord Jesus, I believe that you came into this world to die for my sins. Lord Jesus, I believe that you died for my sins. I also believe that you arose on the third day for my justification. Today I confess you as my Lord and my Savior, and I accept this gift of eternal life. In Jesus' name, amen. Now, if you have said that prayer, I can tell you for surely that there is so much joy in heaven right now. There's so, so much joy. You have made the right step, and I want to encourage you There is a barcode on the screen. I'd like for you to scan that barcode so that you can be drafted to my discipleship platform where you can be trained in the rudiments of scriptures and you can be groomed so you can grow in the power of the salvation that you have received this morning.
