THERE ARE ANGELS ALL AROUND US 2

Femi Lazarus teaches on angels and demons from Scripture, covering the hierarchy of heavenly beings, how angels respond to prayer, and the fall of Lucifer. He warns against relying on extra-biblical sources or personal experience over what the Bible actually says.

We are in for something really, really big. And let me know in the comment section if you can hear me. I want to be sure you can hear me as loud and as audible as possible. Um, good to see you guys, good to see you guys, good to be here. Um, in the next 1 minute— okay, awesome. The next 1 minute, I'd like for you to share this conversation we're about to start with someone. Invite someone to come, um, be a part of this conversation. Invite someone to come, um, be a part of what we are discussing because this is going to be Great. All right, so we might need more volume from the media, and that will be good. So today I'm going to delve straight into our conversation. Maybe I'm going to touch some of the things I touched the last time we were having this conversation, and then also pick up from there. Um, I know some of you must have noticed that my attitude around teaching how that I like to constrain myself to avoid pitfalls. And I'm going to say some things about that today, particularly if you are trusting God for the grace to teach. All right, so the reason why it is important to exercise constraint, um, in certain areas. All right, or not certain areas, in fact many areas. To be balanced and not to sound spooky. Father, we receive insight even as we have conversations today, that your mighty hand will help us and you will bring us into good understanding, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. So first, as I teach, let me show you there are pitfalls to avoid when teaching any subject in the Bible, but particularly subject like this around the angelic, um, subject around, um, um, let me just limit it to this. Maybe something around demonology, angelology, and all that. Sometimes even studies like end-time events. Um, I think the name just left me now, so I'm trying to Um, someone said the voice is echoing and I'm trying to know why. I don't know why. All right, it's not echoing from here, so yeah. Is it echoing? Let me know if it's echoing from the— eschatology, thank you. Eschatology. Someone said there's voice feedback. Okay, it's not echoing. All right, thank you. So the first one of the pitfalls you have to avoid when teaching subject matters like this is the pitfall of the attempt to want to use extra-biblical materials or extra-biblical understandings. All right, um, I, I've read people talk about some book of this and book of that. I'm not ready to go into that in this conversation so I can stay with, um, the conversation on ground. But one thing I know for sure is that the perfect guide in our sojourn on earth is the Bible. All right, I showed you what Paul said to Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:15, says, from the— from a child you have known the Holy Scripture that is able to make you wise, all right, unto salvation. So scripture is given by the inspiration of God. It is profitable for doctrine, it is profitable for reproof, all right, and for correction, that the man of God will be thoroughly furnished unto every good works. So you have to be careful. The second pitfall is the pitfall of placing your experience above scriptures. Yes, it is possible to have certain encounters, it is possible to have certain experiences, it is possible to have certain this and certain that. But the scripture or the postulation of the Bible stands supreme. You cannot establish doctrine using your experience. You cannot teach doctrine, all right, using human philosophies, ideas, postulations, encounters, above the reality of the scripture. So we are going to stay with the reality of the Bible. And I, I understand that for some Christians that sounds boring, like they want to hear certain things. And if you keep going in that direction, you are going to fall off the radar and get into error. It is just a matter of when. All right, so that's That being said, or that said, um, I want to bring us into the reality of the understanding of the two realms that there are. First is the physical realm, which is our own human realm, where we have all the things that can be seen, all the things that can be touched, all the things that can be um, permit me to say felt, all right? Things that you can see and touch. Let me limit it to that, um, 2D, all right? That's the physical realm. Man exists in that realm, but man is also a spirit. So there's a reality of man that is also in contact with the spiritual realm, all right? But there is also the spirit realm. That's where— that's the realm that you cannot see. With your natural human eyes. It's spiritual. It's, it's the spirit realm. That is, it is the realm of spirit. All right, it is beyond what the human, um, vision or human eyes is— was designed to capture. You have physical eyes that can only capture physical things. Can I have volume online? All right, so if some said it's echoing and some said it's not echoing, then you have to check your network. Then it means it's not from here. So you have your physical eyes that only see physical things, then you have the eyes of your spirit, and I'm going to get there in a moment. All right, you are going to get, um there in a moment. Um, okay, maybe another device is playing there, giving echo or something. Please watch out for that. Should I wait? If you see it echoing, then I'm gonna wait. Some said the sound is good, some said it's echoing, and from here it ought not to be. So if there are two things playing simultaneously, it might echo. So I'll wait. And I have very short time to spend with you, so we have to be as fast as we can. All right, so many people saying it's echoing, echoing. Say drop the gain. There's a sound engineer online. I love that. Drop the gain. So I'm trying to check too from here. Someone say let's continue. All right, well, anyways, I have a device here and it's not echoing in that device, but I'm trying to get what's going on. But let's continue with the class and the lecture while they fix that. Can we have the visuals back? All right, someone said it's clear now. All right, thank you. Now there is the physical realm, that's the realm where man, animals, plants, and all the things that were made exist. And there is the spiritual realm, that's the realm of spirit. Um, you have the demonic forces and then you also have the divine forces. They exist in that realm. Under the divine forces you have God all right, or what you call the Godhead. Then you have angels, all right, that's also the realm of angels. Then you— that's also the realm of, um, beings. There are, there are entities that the Bible refers to as beings. They were not referred to as angels, um, neither are they part of the Godhead. They were referred to as beings. Volume, can we have volume online? All right, they were referred to as beings, creatures. For instance, in Revelation chapter number 4, you have what the Bible referred to as the four living creatures. Those are not angels, they are beings. All right, so, um, the realm of the spirit also contains, um, should I put this— all right, it is also the realm where, um, The— it is also the realm of the departed. So when people die and they don't cease to exist entirely, they only cease from our realm, but they are alive much more in another realm. Okay, and one thing I, I want to really establish here— thank you— today is that you will understand that the spiritual realm is more real than the physical realm. Let me say this again. The spiritual realm is more real than the physical realm. The physical realm is— we must not forget that the glory of the physical realm is a fading glory that is passing away each moment. So there is a realm that the glory is intact, all right? And, and that, that's the spiritual realm. I'm going to get into that also. Now, some— in trying to explain, because I need to get into the spiritual realm and talking about angels. Now, there's been several postulations, and I've spoken about the divine entities But there is also the demonic side. There you have the devil, then you have those that the Bible referred to as the fallen angels. Okay, now the fallen angels are in different categories. Jude was able to capture some, said that they were locked up in chains. Let me show you the way Jude puts it. Um, forgive me. Jude has just one chapter, so we're going to look at Jude. All right, just a moment, and I want to show you something here. Okay, now look at what the Bible says about them. Jude 1:6 says, and the angel which kept not their first estate but left their own habitation He had reserved in everlasting chains unto darkness, unto the judgment of the great day. All right, so there are angels that fell with the devil that they were not allowed to move on with him, and those ones had to be chained because of what they are capable of, or Let me put it at that. Now you remember when you read what Paul said to the Ephesians in Ephesians chapter number 4, all right, Ephesians chapter number 4. Let me read from here so you can get context to what I'm about to show you. Ephesians 4. Now the good thing about this teaching today is that I'm going to touch a bit of demonology. A bit of it. All right, Ephesians chapter number 4. Now we look at from— sorry, Ephesians 6. Sorry, Ephesians 6 says, finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. So we have principalities, those are princes over territories. We have powers, then we have rulers, then we have spiritual wickedness. These are wicked forces but are not allowed contact to the earth, so they try to do their affairs from the heavenly realms. Now when he says heavenly realms, So that brings us into another conversation as touching how many heavens are there really, all right? But before we get into that, there is the pride of humanity, of man, to assume that all he sees is all there is. Man is just a fragment of many things that the Lord is doing, all right? God is too big. For instance, now I think I was given one illustration that you could fit, if I still remember correctly, over 1 million size of Earth in the sun. And the sun in this our own, um, how they call it now, galaxy, or not the entire galaxy now, this our own aspect of the galaxy, it's just like a drop. And there are billions of stars bigger than the sun. Then you can fit— look at number of the heads you can fit into the sun. God is too big. You can't describe him. The only explanation he has allowed to himself that you can have to him, the only compatible explanation of his person is Christ. Now if you look at what I've just described now, then you will now understand the reality of Christ in you. Oh my, the reality of Christ in you, that the one who has that kind of power, that kind of magnitude, it is even not— it is Still a moderate statement to say that he makes the earth his footstool. In essence, compared to his size, the earth will have to be seen with a microscope. That's, that's not literal now, all right? So you understand that God is far too big, is far too vast. So now this is it. If you read different account. Read Genesis 1. In the beginning God made— in the beginning God made the heavens and the earth, and the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep, and all that. But if you read the account of Revelation, um, chapter number 12, um, verse 7, Revelation 12:7 give us insight and said things like, there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels. Now I've seen several theologians try to explain this, looking at the illustration from verse 1, as explaining that the woman with the child is talking about the nation of Israel. And I've explained this, I think those who have been to our School of Ministry should have this explanation much more, that different timelines were merged in Revelation chapter number 12. There are events that will happen, there are events that has happened. For instance, when the dragon fought and his angels and there was no space for them in heaven, it is not a futuristic event. It was an event that happened before the beginning began. The beginning known to us doctrinally is Genesis 1, verse 1. In the beginning, God made the heavens and the earth, and the earth was dark and void. But as you study through the lines in the Bible, you discover that Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, there seems to be a disconnect because the word used there is the word God created, he made, he finished, he perfected the heavens and the earth. Then in Genesis 1:2, it looks like Bible is saying that the earth was without form and void. That is what Bible says in Genesis 1:1, that God created. Now in Genesis 1:2, the Bible is saying that the earth was without form, then empty. So it means something went wrong. And then darkness was upon the face of the deep All right, so it— you are either going to say that what God made, he didn't make well, or we are looking at an illustration here that there was a person being introduced to us, and that's darkness upon the face of the deep. All right, and the Bible says that the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Then God said, let there be light. Now the reason why you cannot see that darkness atmospheric is because atmospheric light will later be made subsequently. And the light that God said let there be is still not atmospheric because as we journey downward, and that's where you see that he began to call for the light of the sun and the light of the moon. Now that's been said, so we are seeing in between lines, and you just— it looked like Genesis 1:1, everything was good. Genesis 1:2, Genesis 2, it looks like okay, everything was good. Then Genesis 3, you begin to see a person, a being that was contrary and fighting everything God seemed to be doing. Okay, and then we, we just begin to see that, and it looks like we're not told about this guy before, and it's like he just showed up from nowhere. And then this, and then you see God rebuking, and then say this is the consequence and all that. I mean, this is not a class to get into that, but if you look at the substance of what God said in Genesis 3, then you are going to see that many of the things that sound like curses were blessings. Because he said, I'm going to put enmity between you and the serpent, between your seed and her seed. The serpent will bruise the heel of your seed, and your seed will bruise the head of the serpent. Prophecy about Christ coming to smash the head of the devil. All right, now that being said, we suddenly start seeing that there is another being that is contrary to the person of God. All right, then as we read through the entire scripture, we start saying, okay, now there is a personality of the devil actually. So Isaiah also caught the— Isaiah caught that and spoke about The devil, the one who said, I want to be like the Most High, I want to ascend to the sides of the north, and then he was cast down and there was no space for him in heaven. So there was a fall, and this is beyond science. This is the reality of creation in itself, that God who made everything perfect, there was something a being taught to himself. And I've tried to explain this in the simplest way, that what the devil was, or what Lucifer was asking for was a portion in the Godhead. Now, that said, when he fell, Isaiah 12 said he still drew one-third, all right, one over three of the stars of heaven. In Job 38, we saw, because God was saying that when the morning stars sang together for joy, where are you? Another translation for the word morning star there are angels. So when the Bible says that the tail of the devil, of Lucifer, drew one-third of the stars of heaven, that's a figurative statement saying that his tail there talks about his influence, was able to manipulate one-third of the angels in heaven and they fell with him. Now we don't have an understanding of the accurate number of angels that fell. If we know the number of angels there were in heaven, we probably will know the number of angels that fell, because all we have to do is 1 over 3 of that. All right, but, but we don't know the number of angels that were in heaven, but we know that a number of them fell. All right, and then fell down and there was no place for him. Now, as we begin to read in between the lines, the Bible says that when he fell, he made everywhere desolate. Now, this is the point where you begin to ask some really critical questions. And I know many of you have questions like, oh well, if Adam and Eve were the only ones God made, when Cain killed Abel, he was sent to a city. Who are those there? He said anyone that sees me want to kill me. Who will see him if all God made was Adam and Eve and Abel and Cain? And Adam gave birth to Cain and Abel. So there are questions, and sometimes We are not accepting that there is something faulty about our theology because we are not answering those questions. So, um, I did chemistry to a certain level, all right? And, um, I understand subjects like carbon dating. And, um, in carbon dating— and I know there are some chemistry students— what you want to do is you want to calculate the rate of disintegration of a fossil or a material and all that. Don't let's get into that. Maybe I'm going too far, okay? Because we're going to get into certain things. Hey, so well, well, well, well, well, let's, let's All right, so, but, but let me just say this to you. Chronologically, between Adam and now is roughly a bit above 6,000 years chronologically. And there are fossils that you carbon date and find out that some of them are 10 million years old. So that's the point where we now want to understand if we really understand the Bible. Now I'm not trying to use science to authenticate the Bible, but I'm also saying that God gave the knowledge of science. Our faith is not built on— our, our Christianity is not built on Just fact is built on faith, but there are facts that cannot be disputed. Okay, um, um, let me— so some of the questions you want to ask is, was it only Adam that God made, or were there civilizations apart from Adam. Now, the reason why we cannot postulate is because the little fragment we have here and there to this were supplied in bits and pieces as we study and gather fragment across scriptures. For instance, one of the scriptures describing the devil and said, how art thou fallen, O Lucifer, um, son of the morning. And then you are— you say, you have made the earth a desolate place, and all that see you will narrowly look upon you. There seem to be suggestions that when Lucifer fell— now I'm not making a doctrine, I am not as certain here, but there seem to be certain suggestions that when Lucifer fell, it seemed as though there were civilizations that were corrupted. And that's what brings me to the difference between demons and fallen angels. Now there are theologians that believe that there were civilizations then that the fall of the devil corrupted, and that's why the Bible says that the earth was without form and void. Void means empty. But we were not given insight as touching how it went from being perfected to being empty. But there are theologians that are saying that, okay, he corrupted everything he met. And that's where we now have demons that are also referred to theologically as disembodied spirit. And one of the basic difference between the characteristics of demons and the characteristics of fallen angels is that fallen angels operate from outside, demons want to possess. And certain theologians believe that demons want to possess human bodies because they used to have one. Okay, now I keep using the word some theologians, some theologians, some theologians. Fallen angels don't possess, demons possess. They are disembodied spirits, they want to be in a body, all right? And, and then for just for balance, demons can be in different forms. Not necessarily person. For instance, Jesus was called Beelzebub. That means Lord of Flies. I mean, let's just stay within the context of the Bible, okay? Now you see that when that evil spirit was cast out from that man, they requested to be sent into those swines, and they, they rushed them and drowned them there because they just want to. Now somebody is saying, I am confused. I'm not here to confuse you. So you have to listen attentively. And that's why we don't take subjects like this to public space, so that we don't— because there are things I would have loved to say, but I mean, this is— so let me just take it slow on you. All right, so, um, um, sometimes, you know, as Christians, we just try to excuse certain things, um, here and then, the Bible, and, and then we, we We don't understand. Let me get to my subject, all right? So, but let me know if you understand till that point. Are you getting me? So what the basic thing I'm trying to show you is that the earth realm or the physical realm, which is not limited to the earth realm, is not the only realm there is. There is also the spiritual realm, and the reality is real, and it is more real than our own reality here. And one of the realities of the spiritual realm is that it controls the activities in the physical realm. I, a victim of the activities of the spiritual realm— the spiritual controls the physical. That is, the spiritual realm is the back end of the physical realm. Okay, very important. Now, I showed you the other time, now there are several names that the Bible used to describe angels. I've talked a little bit about the demonic side, so let— maybe I should just touch one or two things more. There are several falling of angels described in the Bible. One was when Lucifer fell, Revelation 12:7, but the other one was when the Bible says that the sons of God beheld the daughters of men and came to commit immorality with them. So there are angels that can take form of man, and they, based on divine prerogative or divine instruction or the nature of the assignment, can be seen and some cannot be seen. And when it comes to this issue about seeing, seeing, seeing, we must differentiate when you have the spectacular experience of allowing a divinely granted appearance that you are seeing a divine being, like someone is standing in front of you There is such, but there is also the realm of visions, or let me say the realm of visions and dreams. You should understand that. But there's also the realm of your eyes, of your, your spirit, or your understanding being opened, where you are seeing in vague. It's like there's a move, drift between the physical and the spiritual, like you are seeing it in your spirit. So we must be able to clarify, and I'm not telling you that any is superior to another, all right? I'm not telling you that any is superior to another, all right? Very, very, very, um, important for you to know that, okay? So you can differentiate between the things that you see. And in your spirit, and then the things that you are allowed access to see. But one thing we know for certain, even as we study through scriptures, is that there are angels around us. I showed you in Genesis 18 how that Abraham met angels where they were just on their way, all right, and then they were even going to Sodom, all right. But he met them, he entertained them, and they were able to give him message. In, all right, Genesis 32 It was so real that Jacob wrestled with one, and it was so real that he removed the ulu of his thigh. It can get real. In Hebrews chapter number 13, verse 2, the Bible also said that we should not be weary in well-doing, for by so doing some have entertained angels without knowing. Now, one of the things I want to bring your attention to today is for you to understand that angels are God's special messengers. Their activity is to deliver the biddings of God. All right, angels are God's special messengers, so they carry out his assignment. And let me say this to you, sometimes, because, you know, this generation, we try to do image laundry for God. We try to help him launder his image, like we have to package his image for him. See, and we hear things like God cannot kill. I want to show you a very graphical scripture, and you tell me if this is God or a demon. Are you with me? Now turn your Bibles. I want the media to help me project this. 1 Chronicles, 1 Chronicles chapter number 12. I'm going to narrate the story. David, out of excitement, went to number the nation of Israel, and God was not happy with him. He was so excited he did that. Then God told him he has to pick one between, um, 3 years of famine, 3 months of falling into the hands of his enemies, or 3 days of him smiting them with a plague. That was God talking. Then he said, it is better I fall to the hands of God. Than to the hands of mortal men. Now look at this. So in 1 Chronicles 21:14, 1 Chronicles 21:14, 1 Chronicles 21:14. Are you there? 1 Chronicles 21:14. Look at what the Bible says. So the Lord sent pestilence upon Israel, and there fell of Israel 70,000 men. Now look at verse 15. Verse 15 is very graphical. Says, and God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it. This is not the devil. God sent an angel. And I'm going to tell you the balance. And as he was destroying The Lord beheld, and he repented of him the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed it, it is enough, stay now on your hand. And the angel of the Lord stood by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. And David lifted up his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord stand between the heaven and the earth, having a drawn sword in his hand. Stretched over Jerusalem. And then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces. David saw the angel. The angel's duty is to carry out what God said. God didn't send legions of angels to do what he want. 70,000 men, one angel. One, one angel. One, one angel, 70,000 men. One angel. The night that all the firstborn in Egypt died, it was one angel that passed, not 50. When the rapture will take place, it will be at the sound of an archangel, not many archangels. One will blow the trump and even the dead will hear. And all over the world, as many as are sealed with the seal of promise, that have the blood of Christ over them, that has been saved, will rise up and catch up with Christ. One angel— angels are majestic creatures. They are not wimps, and they are more powerful than you think. They are majestic creatures. So powerful. One angel. David looked up his eyes. His Bible says that the angel was standing between the heaven and the earth with a sword drawn out. Just try to imagine the appearance. But the angel responded to one thing, what God was saying. So you must understand that angels respond to God's instruction. And that's where another place I want to bring you to, that do you know that when you pray, God send angels on assignment on your behalf? When you pray, God send angels on errand on your behalf. When you pray, in fact, see, I showed you the other day the book of Daniel. The Book of Daniel, chapter number 10. Daniel 10. I want to show you something so you will pay very important attention. When Daniel set his heart to seek the face of God and pray And what happened? From the moment God saw the posture of his heart, God sent an angel. So when you pray, angels are activated. See, let me tell you this. There was a man in the Bible, a king. He was speaking and they were praising him And said, he speaks like God. Say, this guy speaks like God. And they were hailing him. Acts chapter number 12, verse 23. Acts chapter number 12, verse 23. I want the media to project that. Acts 12, verse 23. Look at it. While they were praising Herod and said, he speaks like God, and immediately the angel of the Lord smote him. Because he gave not God the glory, and he was eaten by worms, and he gave up the ghost. Just that was— these guys, they have some different kind of weapons. They just gave him his size. Pam! The old king was right there on his face. The process of death and decay was fastened. Immediately, worms covered him up. It was an angel who did that. So you must understand that the realm of the spirit is not obscure, all right? It's not the realm that is timid or something. God just played by his rules and he's allowed you to do your stuff. And then the things that are beyond you, as you pray, he activates his messengers on your behalf. So when you pray and set your heart on certain matters, angels are released. We've seen different examples of that in the Bible, that angels can be released. All right, very, very, very important. So, um, maybe if there's anything I might want to show you today are different categories of angels that there are mentioned in the Bible. For instance, we have, um, the seraphims were mentioned in the Bible. Someone is saying, can you balance with the nature of Christ? Maybe you have to excuse my class. I am teaching basically about angels, all right? And that is not teaching outside the nature of class, all right, of Christ now. And if you follow the things I've been teaching, I've spoken about the mystery of Christ in us, the hope of glory, as we consider all these things, all right? I mean, even angels are dispatched to minister to heirs of salvation. So this is even talking about your divine nature. You see that? Don't get distracted. So we have seraphims, and, um, they were described in Isaiah chapter number 6, verse 1 to 7. They were described as angels with 6 wings. One, two, they cover their faces, um, two, they cover their feet, and with two, they fly. Then we also have the cherubims. They were described in Ezekiel chapter number 10. All right, the cherubims, they were the ones that were given to cover the Tree of Life. And guess what? One of the names, one of the ways the devil was described is that was— it was the anointed cherub that covered it, all right? It was the anointed cherub that covered it, all right? But that's, that's a story. And then we also have the archangels, all right? These are very mighty angels. I believe theologically that the archangels are the highest in rank, all right? But that's a story for another day. You can see that In Thessalonians 4:16, at the sound of the archangel, the dead in Christ will rise first, and so on and so forth. Then you also have Jude, um, verse 9. All right, Jude verse 9, talking about Michael could not bring railing accusation, um, to the devil but said that the Lord rebuked him. All right, then you have those who are referred to as angels. I, I like to call them normal angels, not because they are basic All right, then we also have other heavenly beings, like we have the creatures, um, four living creatures. We have, um, thrones, we have powers. Now we are— some of us are still struggling with comprehension of basic angels and all this basic stuff, but we also have thrones, we have powers, and these, these, these are Um, these are also categories of angels that— of creatures, sorry, that have their own special duty. But here is what I want us to do. As you study subject matters like this, there is the temptation to want to be Superman and get some graphical spooky stuff. Be careful. Not to dance outside the confines of scriptures. Be very careful not to import extra-biblical knowledge of certain things you read in certain books, except they have a root in the Bible that you have seen. You have to be careful, all right, so you don't fall into error. Very important. But, but Very importantly, what you should know is that basically angels are ministering spirits, and God sends them to minister to the heirs of salvation, of God's salvation. That is, those of us who are saved, those of us who are already in Christ, we have messengers from God that are sent on our behalf, and they perform different roles based on the situation. And as we pray, God activates his angels and sends them to us with answers. And I showed you the last time I was teaching that there are— in fact, in the case of Jesus, angels came to minister to him when he was tired. Angels came and ministered to him. So they are ministering spirits. In the case of Daniel, what the angel came to give was an understanding. And understanding. There are situations that angels got involved and fought battles and blinded an entire army of the enemies. So what I want you to see is that, that, that realm is not obscure. When Jesus arose from the dead and Mary got to the tomb and the tomb was empty, He saw that it was rolled aside and an angel sat on the stone, letting them know the power that raised him. He's not denying it. He said, why seek you the living amongst the dead? He's risen as he said to you. An angel was there. And many have asked this basic question. I think I answered the last time I taught that Why is it that when most angels— people encountered angels in the Bible, the first thing the angel says is, 'Fear not.' All right, and that is because angels can have— some categories of angels can have scary look. All you see is all you know, but there is more that you have not seen. And you don't even know. All you see is all you know, but there is more that you have not even seen. There are dimensions of— and let me say this to you, that doesn't mean make a born-again child of God inferior to angels. In fact, we are going to judge angels. We are going to judge angels. So we are not inferior. We are joint heirs with Christ, but that doesn't put us in the place where we order angels. So let me give you warnings. You want to be careful of summoning angels. People telling you that at certain part of the night, um, some prayers are best answered as you turn to certain parts of the east, the west, the north, or the south. Be careful because there is a thin line between spirituality and spiritism. Be careful because there is a very thin line. People— I've seen people who fasted without understanding of Bible doctrines, and they did not know when they fast. Because when you fast, you make yourself predisposed to spiritual forces. The weights around your soul, the cloaks, are removed. And some who don't have basic knowledge of the Bible, they start hearing voices and hearing things that they could not judge with scriptures. And they got and wandered away into wrong doctrines and strange— look at it in, um, is it 1 Timothy 4 from verse 1? Says, now the Spirit speaketh expressly that latter times some shall depart from faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, all right, forbidding themselves to abstain from meat, command themselves to not to marry, and all that. Now look at this, in the spirit realm there are different forces. The more you expose yourself and interface with that realm is the more you must know the word, such that even if you see Jesus face to face, you must judge what he's saying with the character of the Bible. Failure to judge what he's saying with the character of the Bible— you can see an angel of darkness can parade themselves as angels of light. So as Christians, we are not trying to be interested in, oh, I want to see an angel. Oh, I want— no, we pray, we seek the face of God, we study the Bible. He does the sendings on our behalf. We are conscious of the sending. So you don't go to say that, oh, today I want to see my angel, I want to wake up every night for the next 7 days so I can see my angel, and then you are speaking with some beings and trying to activate, you are going to get into error. You will get into false doctrines, you get into false teachings. People have done all those things and then they got— that's why I'm telling you now, in case what I'm teaching doesn't sound magical enough, stay with the Bible. There is a temptation to— you see, see, see, when I was getting into the subject of demons being disembodied spirit, You see, I keep using the word 'some theologians said,' 'some theologians said,' 'some theologians said,' because you cannot exercise authority in the areas that the Bible is not expressively loud. So to be balanced, stay with the Bible. There are reasons why we're not given names of angels. The name you know, Gabriel. The name you know, Michael. Maybe any other thing apart from that, Lucifer. Will fail. We don't know any other name. So an angel saw you and introduced— be sure what you are saying is within the scope of the Bible. But let me begin to wrap up with this. In the supernatural realm, there are many things that God is capable of, yes, explained in the Bible, but the limitation around your soul can hinder you. From experiencing those realities. There are realities of deliverance. Particularly look at some of the things that people are mocking around now, are mocking the church and then saying things about their testimony. Well, I don't know about their testimonies, I wasn't there, but if a Christian says something happened to the pure, all things are pure, my first question is the things they are saying happened The God that I serve, is it within his capacity to do it? Are there examples in the Bible for what he has done? Why should I follow the voice of a generation saying that God is not capable of doing what the Bible shows us expressly that he does? When you keep exposing your soul to those things, listen to this, the supernatural becomes a sacrilege to you. And then the door is shut, you cannot experience deliverance in areas you should, because your experience cannot outweigh your doctrine. Your doctrine limits the scope of your experience. So if you believe that God is not capable of rescuing his people from kidnappers— and you know, I think I saw something today that some of the things that they cropped out were even dreams. Somebody had the vision explained, and bloggers cut out those things and then put it like— and then you as a believer, because you don't know God as God, will join them to mock. Be careful, because you might be shutting down certain operations around your life. Be careful, because you might be shutting down certain deliverances around your life, and you are not ready for it. Let me wrap up with this scripture. Because they failed to know God as God, right, neither were they grateful and thankful to him. He gave them over to a reprobate mind to do the things that are not convenient. You must know God as God, okay? You must know God as God. In Psalms 82:5, I said to you that you are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High. I said they know not, and how do they understand? And then they will die like men and fall like one of the princes. So once there is knowledge gap, people fail. Once there is knowledge gap, all right? So So basically, these are the things I want to show you today, um, as touching this subject of angels. In fact, I think I overstretched into some things I should not stretch into, which, you know, demonology and all that. So the things I didn't say with express authority, those are things I now teach and we'll get into details, all right, at the International School of Ministry. In case you've never done that before, then 2025 is a year you have to prepare for. All right, so let me leave it here. There is no guarantee that we are not going to delete this video immediately. There is no guarantee. So you, you have to let me know why I should leave it here. And let me say this, I put a disclaimer on this video. It is not subject to any blogger to repost, cut any aspect of this. This is an entire body of teaching. You cannot cut an aspect out. You should not cut an aspect out. You should not cut it out. If you are going to listen to it, you have to just listen to it, because you can take a part of it away and then you leave people confused and do damage to the body of Christ. So I forbid any blogger from cutting this video, all right? If you are going to leave it there, it means that we are going to take express, um, um, say legal action, all right? I have to tell you because I will not be a part of confusion. In the body of Christ. I'm not going to do that, all right? What I'm doing is just me doing this because of my love for the body of Christ and to answer many questions that many of our people don't have people around to show them. Um, I have a couple of teachings that I've done in this regard expressly, um, years back and before now, so that can complement in case you listen to this and then you have questions, noble questions within the confines of what I've taught. All right, you may want to leave the questions in the comment section, and that might give birth to the need to teach this again or to get into those aspects again, um, as we— all right, and then all that. Somebody said, Liliti, sir. All right, thank you, Izuma. Um, somebody said, what topic are you going to teach about next? The topic is titled Look Up. Look Up. It's a conversation on the subject of rapture. All right, so you know I like to talk about eschatology a lot. So yeah, I love you guys so much. I, I value your questions. And let me tell you, if, if there are areas you see me avoid, please respect my decision, okay? And what you do is that take what I've said in context And anything you cannot find to be biblical for you, then you can do away with them. You don't have to take what I've said for anything. You don't have to, all right, at all take them for anything. So I love you guys. Um, it's been a great time, 55 minutes. See you some other time on another live. I don't know when that will be, but anytime soon. Yeah, love you, take care, bye-bye, have a great time.
