There are powers in this world but what is more real is our victory in Christ.

A pastor shares encounters with spiritual forces at a Nigerian secondary school, including a student wielding a spiritual belt that left a teacher convulsing. He argues that while these powers are real, Christ's victory over them is more real still.

It's not everything that is trickle. There's power. What did I say? Power. In fact, in Ephesians, when they were listing the kidas of darkness, there's a category you call them principalities and powers. You try it, date a witch and break the heart. They will twist your mouth. I once attended a notorious secondary school. They had to move us out of there. That secondary school, you know, the kind of school that if you are resuming as a student, you come with your chair. You carry it on your head like this and come. And as you're coming with your chair, students are laughing that they will welcome this one. You know the welcome? Let me tell you. God will help you renew your mind. I came with my chair, new, and you also come with cutlass. Ah, you cut grass. So locked my chair, did my things, put my food flask inside. You know, you can open and sit. The following morning, as I opened my chair, they've done something inside. Someone had gone to load it up. They've messed it up. That was the welcome to our school. There was a guy in that school. One time he had a problem with a teacher. The teacher did something he didn't like. The son of Anabalis brought something out, spiritual belt. Do you know spiritual belt? They call it bante. He wiped the teacher. He started urinating right there on the spot till he began to urinate blood, and the man was on the floor dying. They started begging the boy, losing him. So he brought out something and said, 'Because of ipu,' and gave the man to drink. That's how the guy was freed. That's power. But more real is our victory in Christ.
