UK SPECIAL BIBLE STUDY WITH APOSTLE FEMI LAZARUS

Apostle Femi Lazarus teaches that God's timing is precise and the devil attacks at critical moments to stop believers. He uses stories from Exodus, Genesis, and Matthew alongside accounts of COVID, financial hardship, and healing to show how recognizing spiritual attack signals you are close to breakthrough.

Pray. You have one more minute. Pray. Oh, thank you, Lord. We bless your holy name. Blessed, blessed be In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Amen. Amen. How many of us came, um, for the word of God? Let me see your hands up. How many of us are really hungry for God? All right, thank you, Lord. You may want to reduce that to a large extent. Thank you. Let's give Jesus a big hand. Um, you may please be seated. Thank you. Femi Lazarus. Honor you guys. Solid guys. Good to see you guys again. Let's give them a big hand. Thank you, Lord. Amen. Amen. Good evening, everyone. Sorry, I know they have planned lots of formalities and what I need with you you tonight is time. Is that okay? Anytime. I've longed to see you after the last time we met. Um, like Paul said, to the end that you may be established. Amen. This is Bible study, so Um, in Sphere of Light Church, Bible study is a bone-breaking meeting, not milk. Okay, how many of us are ready for bones tonight? Are you scared? Let me see you wave your hands if you're ready for bones. Are you sure? All right, let's turn our Bibles to the book of Exodus. Okay, if you are there, say amen. Okay, Exodus. Let's, let's start from— thank you, Lord. Give me a moment. Please. Exodus chapter— oh, let me give you from the very background. Exodus chapter number 3, um, we start reading from verse 1. Exodus 3 from verse 1. Now Moses kept— if you are there, say amen. All right. Kept the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the backside of the desert and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. And he looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, but the bush was not— what— consumed. Um, if I was going to talk to ministers of the gospel, verse 2 is enough topic because it tells us that if you burn with the fire of the Holy Ghost, there's no side effect. Are you with me? Now verse 3, and Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the Lord turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, here I am. And he said, draw not nigh Etha, put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover, he said, I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God. And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and I've heard their cry by the reason of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of the land, that land, unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey. Unto the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, the Jebusite. Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come to me, for I have seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppressed them. I'm teaching on the subject, the God of Timing. You want to write that down? The God of timing. Are you with me? Now, um, the Israelites has been— they've been— they have been serving in Egypt for how many years? As at this point, over 400 years. I'm going somewhere. And suddenly God is here saying it's time to bail them out. I mean, if somebody has been— if a people have been serving as slaves for 400 30 years, then you are here saying at the 430th year that now I can hear their cry. How does it make sense? Have they not been crying since year 1? Why is it that it is at the 430th year he's now acknowledging, oh, they are suffering? Because too, when you look at it on the surface, it looks, oh, it's just normal. Uh, God heard their cry, and then God said to Moses, go and set them free. Okay, so it's just normal. And if you don't interpret that, you, you— what the consequence of a wrong interpretation of scripture is that the, the effect of that will first be witnessed in your life. Let me explain what I mean. When Hannah was trusting for a child, you know what her conclusion was? She said, God had kept me from having a child. And as long as you have wrong theological conclusions, the first effect will be in your experience. So the conclusion here can't be that This is just when God was hearing their cry. But we can look at the prophecy that went ahead, that they will be slaves for, or serving in a foreign land for 400 years. Somebody say timing. How many years did God say they will serve? 400 years. Okay, but by By biblical calculation, we saw that this is the 430th year. And I mean, if you're a student of the Bible, you know that this was after 40 years of Moses' first attempt to set them free. Do you remember, huh, when he saw an Egyptian maltreating an Israelite? And he killed the guy. He killed him. And journeying down— I'm trying to take time to lay foundation— journeying down in the book of Acts, the Bible said he supposed that they would know that God will by his hand deliver them at that time, but they did not know. If that was 40 years, 40th year before the 430th year, It means God started planning their deliverance in their 390th year. Are you— I'm going somewhere. Are you with me? In their 390th year. But when was he able to initiate the deliverance? In the 430th year. You know why? Because to a carnal man, the activity of God looks neutral. And the people, people tend to forget that God works with time. And that time is so precise. If you miss that time, you may not know when the next oscillation will come. And sometimes, um, um, it's just like using the lift, okay? Um, if there are people waiting at different levels of the floor and it's your turn, you, you didn't know what to press, somebody else just press and the thing goes up. You'll have to wait till the next oscillation. Let me show you a scripture. Um, look at the book of Matthew, chapter number— chapter number 1. Matthew 1. If you're with me, say amen. Matthew 1. Let's jump a bit. Let's jump to verse 17. Uh, if you read Matthew 1, it's not one of those scriptures you find really interesting, okay? So you may not find much there. And this begat this and this. It looks like a book of naming ceremonies. Am I correct? You hear Naor, you hear Dodo, you hear all those names, and sometimes you are worried. But hidden in this scripture are many things. Let's go to verse 17. Matthew 1:17. I want decorum. I want decorum. Adeyemi, I want decorum. So all the generations from Abraham to David are 14 generations, and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are 14 generations, and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are 14 generations. What does this tell us? God is precise. He's precise. Are you with me? Can I show you a few things in this precision? Um, it's so precise that there's the whole essence of separation of Abraham. You know, the genealogy started from Abraham because that's where he started tracing Christ from. He couldn't find a man with whom— you see what God did. Um, Jeff, come look at this illustration. What God did, and I think I, I said some things about this the last time I came was to find a man. Are you with me? His name is Abraham. Abraham later became Abraham. A man. Um, can I have, um, two guys if you wouldn't mind? Two guys. Thank you. Um, from Abraham— please, you stand here— then he got Um, Isaac, the legitimate son. Then he had Ishmael, um, the illegitimate son. What makes this guy legitimate is the fact that this is the guy that was given birth to as a product of faith. Um, the fact that this guy waited several years to give birth is not for his lack of capacity to produce. Are you with me? This— what I'm saying is that the things you need faith to get, you can get them outside faith. Let me explain. A girl reached out to me one day and said, Pastor, you have to pray for me now. I said, what's the issue? Said, my school fees deadline for payment will be due on Monday, and I'm trusting God to give me the money. Said, because I know what I was doing before I gave my life to Christ, and it is just one night I'll get the money. So say, you have to pray to your God. You got me born again, so tell your God to give me the money. What she was simply saying is, um, I can get this thing done outside God. Are you with me? Um, when you hear a man say things like he's been waiting on God for a future partner, it is not for the absence of ladies around. It is for the decision to wait on the one that is God. And when you get in the energy of the flesh, what God is tracing in the spirit, it is not counted. So Ishmael was not counted. So that's why God could tell him, go and sacrifice Isaac. Your only son? That doesn't make sense. God doesn't make mistake. It means this is the one we recognize, the one you got by waiting on me. Are you with me? That's why any faith that can be traced to waiting is not faith. Faith is not really the ability to get results supernaturally. It is proven in waiting. Through faith, the elders obtained a good report, not a good result. Report, a testimony of their waiting. All right, so this is Isaac. Can I have two more guys? Thank you so much. From Isaac, now we have two other guys. Um, Jacob, um, you, you come here. Okay, no, sorry, come here. And then there's this other guy, um, no, stand with him. Yes, called Esau. So this is Jacob and Esau. Are you following what I'm tracing somewhere here? All right, well, what is God doing? He has found a man and then he's tracing the— he separates this man not just because this guy is special. But because he has found someone through whom he can trace the lineage of the Messiah, what is he doing here? He's on his way to saving man. Are you with me? Uh-huh. So this man, this Abraham, this Isaac, this is Esau and Jacob, they are brothers. And one day this guy was hungry and he said to this guy, he said, um, I'm hungry, give me porridge. And this one said, I'm going to give you porridge. Well, I want your birthright. What is the birthright? The birthright is the right to remain in the lineage that God is tracing. If he's tracing Christ from that lineage, it means everything called significance is there. And then the guy said, what is the birthright to me? What he was simply saying is, what is staying in this lineage for me? Give me food before I die. So he said, oh, um, he said, okay, so you take the food. He took the food and then left. And then, um, all, all, all, all the things that should have come from that loins left too. Uh, betright is not just the right of the firstborn, it is also the right to bet. It's not like after he had the food and left, he, he gave bet He had wives, he had children. If you ask him as far as his life was concerned, he may say he's a success. But as far as the eternal scope of things is concerned, he's out. What I'm saying is that you can still have a measure of success humanly having left God. It doesn't change the fact that you are out of a race. Are you with me? I'm saying a person can be in rebellion and still be successful. Success is not the measure of accuracy. That's why I made it clear, the things you get by faith, you can get them outside faith. The result is not the proof. The report, what heaven has to say about you, is what matters. Are you with me now? Ah, because if care is not taken, people will come to church to share testimony for what they got outside God. Um, now this, this, this is another thing I want you to see. Um, it was not so much about the fact that this guy had porridge. That was not his first time of eating porridge. It was about the fact that he had the porridge and agreed for the transfer before Isaac released the blessing. You didn't hear me. Hm? What I'm saying is that it is not about the mistake, it's about the timing of the mistake. How was it this time that he was so suddenly interested in porridge and say, what's my bet, right? Um, the devil understand that God is a God of timing and is most likely going to come hard at crucial seasons. Because he knows you may not know the crucial seasons. The devil is older than you. Are you aware? I said the devil is older than you. Are you aware? He's older than your great-grandfather. Are you aware? He's been around long before. Are you aware? This is the same devil that made Adam to fall, the one you are up against. Are you aware? So you are dealing with a man who is old at his craft, and you don't have so much time compared to him. You have a very brief time to deal with a guy who's been around long before you, so you have to know your enemy. You see, um, there is a brand of Christian or Christianity that try to deny the very existence of the devil. Ah, the Bible said don't be ignorant of the devices of the devil. You, it would take a fool to deny that the devil is real. Is Jesus real? Yes. More real is our victory in Christ Jesus. But the devil is also real. And when the devil is doing what he's doing, he's doing it with a precise sense of timing. For instance, if you read Genesis 1, Genesis 2, Genesis 3, you just think the devil came randomly to Eve. He came at the time she got the wrong information, and it came at the time that the one who knows the right information was not there. Because the devil said, as God said, you should not eat of any tree of the garden. What he's saying is that as God said, you should starve. Then she said what she knew, that, well, he said we should eat of any tree. But the tree in the middle, we should not eat. Correct answer. But she went on to say we should not even touch. That's where religion came in. You try to hard for God so they can be holier than holiness. And when you hard to the truth, it doesn't become more truthful, it becomes a lie. Are you with me? So One day, this guy who got the birthright gathered his children in Genesis 49, and he said something quite strange. He said, um, gather yourselves, you sons of Jacob. He said, I want to tell you what will befall you in the last days. So he called one of them and he said, Reuben, come, my friend. What's your name? Hm? Daniel. Okay, I'm going to give you Reuben for today. It's not even a bad name by a minute, don't worry. Okay, so what's your name? Reuben. Okay. So this is Jacob, and Jacob called Reuben. Please pay attention. And he said, oh Reuben, you are my firstborn. That's correct time. The beginning of my might, the excellency of dignity. He said, but you are unstable as water. Then he said something that a father should never say. He said to him, you won't excel. He said, because you went into your father's bed and defiled it. And when he did that, he said, uh, Ruben, you can go, that's your portion. I hope you know what that means. What that means is Reuben has left the queue where he was tracing the Mesha from. Now Reuben is here. This is, this is, this is, um, a whole civilization is going on here, but this is where the eyes of God is. Are you with me? If you come here, this is an entire civilization, an entire nation. Their life is going on. Oh, they are getting married and women are giving birth to children. Oh, they are doing— but it won't matter much in the scheme of what God did. Maybe I should ask you a question. Have you left this scheme only to marry and give birth? You know, you can get to a point where that becomes your sole desire, that it's not so much about anything. Um, God just give me somebody and let me too start a family. And you marry, you make money, you give birth, um, you build a house or some houses that when we are up there on plane, we can't even see your house. When you fly, you see how humbling what we pursue are. Um, even the biggest mansion looks like a drop of sand. There is more to greatness than what a man acquires. Are you with me? So if there's anything we need to take note of about this guy, these guys, it's not about the fact that they made mistakes. It was that the devil timed it to be a time before the blessing came. Just not about the mistakes. Um, if, if, if Reuben had waited for the father to say, at least be blessed first, you know, you know the nature of the blessing. What Isaac told Jacob, he said, blessed is he that blesses you, and cursed is he that curses you. Say, I have blessed you and it cannot be reversed. Are you with me? Meaning that from the moment Isaac spoke the word over Jacob, if Isaac found out at that point that Jacob was Esau, even Isaac can't reverse it. So the devil understands that the nature of the blessing is the one that once it is released can't be taken back. So the, the only, the only way For him to deal with a man like this is to make sure that everything he will do to that man must be done before the blessing, which is irreversible, is released. Do you understand? That's good. Should I come again? Um, Jacob, come. Isaac, come. Isaac. Oh yes, yes, you're Isaac. Mm, you are. Somehow you look like him. I don't know what he looks like, but I have a witness. You must look like him. So Isaac blesses Jacob. Jacob, go on your knees and say that the smell of my son is as the smell of a field that the Lord has blessed. Say, therefore the Lord give you the dew from above and the fatness of the earth. And plenty corn and wine. Blessed is he that blesses you, cursed is he that curses you. Ah, you know, the fear of this guy before was if he finds out I am Esau, he will curse me. The nature of that blessing is even now, if I find out, I don't have what it takes to curse you anymore. So, so the devil knows this is an irreversible portion. Are you with me? So the only way you can destroy what is irreversible is to destroy the man before he gets it. It is not about the sin, it is about the timing. And because God, God is precise, very, very precise. He's an intelligent being. He knows the time he has set in his heart to do everything he wants to do. The devil can also guess. When I was in primary school, there was a girl in my class. We all call her Auntie. If you are not a Nigerian, you may not know what that means, but it is as it implies. Auntie should senior me with at least 12 years because even those I call my uncle met her in class. So they told us that she just couldn't be promoted. Are you with me? So Auntie was so old in the class that teachers respect her. Because many of them met her in school. So she's actually old in the system, more than many of the staffs. Are you with me? So Auntie seems to know many things we don't know. For instance, she has an idea of how every teacher reacts, and she, she just give you clue, but she couldn't pass. That's, that's, that's a bit close to how the devil operates. The devil can't be righteous even if he wants to, but because he's been around for a while, he has ideas. The devil can almost guess when you are approaching your timing. He doesn't know what God is doing. But he can guess that this is a crucial what? Time. Please, please stand up. So in the case of Reuben— are you with me? Where's Reuben? Before Jacob will release this blessing, what's his nature of the blessing? No distraction, no distraction, please. I'm teaching. Just sit down anywhere you find yourself, please. What is the nature of this blessing? It is a blessing that is what? Irreversible. What do you do to a man who is about to receive what is irreversible? Distract him before you what? Get it. What he did then is what he's still doing now. There are certain things that the devil understands that As long as you can get it, it's done for. And the best thing he can do is to come after you with everything he has before you get it. If you understand the timing, what I'm showing you is that once you see that there are attacks right and left, it means you are close to a breakthrough. Once you see that Discouragement is becoming strong, you are about to enter into something. That's not the time to cry. Every time— if you don't know what time it is, you can gauge time by checking attacks. Are you with me? The devil is against you, but he can give you a clue. He is many things, but he's not stupid. He might be ignorant of certain things. You also can't call him a fool. You also can't call him powerless. So if I don't know whether I'm in a crucial season or not, I just have to check what is the devil trying to do. If— how many of you have been through seasons where you just saw like multiple attacks at once? Talk to me now. Like, it was like they called you, this is happening around the same time that you are down. This one is also frustrating you around the same time. They just told you, you have been laid off. You, you, you, you have been laid off. It's just, aye, go back home. In it. And then around that same time, you You come to church and your departmental head will wash you. Around the same time, they just called you at home, your mom is sick. If you like, don't do anything about it. You can have 5 strategic issues that seeks to puncture your emotions around the same. That tells you that you are close to the river. If you will refuse to be discouraged in that time, you will see the dividends of that exam. Are you with me? The idea of that season is to make you abandon a process. You know, you are the one, you have been fighting, but you don't know you are close. The one who knows you are close will fight you and in the process convince you that you are not close. The darkest part of the night It's just before the down. If you can understand the signs of discouragement, you win. You win. I'm going somewhere. And if there's anyone here that you look at your life right now, many things are happening at once. Ah, do you know what you do in such season? You intensify prayers. And there are two prayers you can't pray at me— amiss. Oh Lord, help me. Father, show me mercy. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find what? Grace to help in times of need. Once you get to season where attacks are coming at once, your strength can't carry you through, you switch to what? Help. I will lift up my eyes to heals. From whence cometh my help? My help comes from the Lord who made the heavens and the earth. Is there anyone here saying, God help me? God help me. You— the way God set this thing, faith work requires that you don't know much. It is not faith if you know too much. Are you with me? Faith is not all the pictures. It is little glimpse here and there. So it means you have, you have every reason to abandon God. You know, sometimes I like to bring things, um, in a more relatable way. Do you know what it means to wait on God for a child? No, you may not know. Do you, do you know what waiting means? Huh? Let me explain. If you want to, you know the way James put it, it may look too King James. James says, let patience have her perfect work. We call something patience, you now say, would you let it be perfect again? Are you with me? I called the guy, somebody recommended him as a good furniture guy. I said, this guy is the best you can get in town. I said, I need the best. So I gave this best guy work, then he said I will deliver the work on Friday. Then I didn't see him for 2 weeks. So I called the person who recommended him. He said, hey, I forgot to tell you, although he's the best guy, he has issues with time. Ah, I said, you should have told me. Okay, so the guy came. And then brought everything. Then I was watching the guy, he was looking at— I said, Femi Lazarus, you have wasted time. Now you are— and the guy, you can't put him under pressure. He will do what he wants to do at his pace. If you like, die. There's nothing you can say. At his what? But if you allow him to take his time, what he will come out with is a masterpiece. Or if you— if you— this— if I can't be distracted. So the Bible says this is patience. Have you— do you know what it means to ask a girl out and she say, I will get back to you? Do you have that experience? Okay. Isaac, do you have that experience? Ruben, do you? You don't. Okay, you look like somebody who show care. The, the most difficult room is waiting room. One of the things that makes waiting difficult is that what you are waiting for may never come. Ah. Is there anyone who has been in that room before? The one who is waiting for the fruit of the womb, the devil keeps reminding the person that, do you know you are close to menopause and you may actually not have child? And if you don't have, you will not be the first not to have. So the pain of waiting is the consciousness of the fact that what I'm waiting for may not what? Are you with me? Are you with me? What I'm saying, is this simple enough? Now, that should not be— what I've said now should not scare you. I said may not come, not will not come, because there are two kinds you can wait for. You can either wait for Samuel or wait for Isaac. Samuel comes in time. Isaac comes when you have passed time. Okay, Samuel, it is still according to you after the manner of women. Isaac, Isaac is not the kind of child you say let's make babies. I know Isaac comes when God is ready, when he consider all the equation right. Hmm, are you with me? So when he says that though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for your rod And your what? Staff. The what? I told you the difference. The rod is instant. Stretch it over the Red Sea, instant. Staff, you enter as you age. If I lay hands on Pastor Ete and I say, Pastor Ete, be blessed. Amen. Following day, say, Apostle, you won't believe what happened. Somebody just called me up from United Nations and said this, this. We have a contract for you to £200,000 instantly, you receive it, okay. But you see staff, that one you, you wait, you age, you mature to qualify to wield it. Meaning that in your life you must have the two for comfort to be perfected. The things that came instantly and the things that came through process. Are you with me? Am I going too far? Hope these generations are not tired, ah, because we're, we're building something. Well, let me say this to you, to anyone who is waiting on God for certain things, don't believe the lie of the devil. Nobody waits on him in vain. They will never be ashamed that look to the Lord. Hm? The devil will convince you that you will face shame. The devil is a master orator, and all indices will align. You look at those who don't need God to get the results you need God to get. And that's why the cross, if understood well, it is foolishness to those who are perishing. Until your— if your Christianity makes sense to everybody, you are not a Christian. You don't have anybody who doesn't know God and call you fool. You don't know God too. When you know God the way you should know him, those who don't know him will call you mumu. They look at you and say, look at you, you say you need God to get this. Is this not what this generation is saying now? Does Elon Musk need God for this? Money is not blessing. Money is money. Are you with me? Let me leave that though. So when you look at Reuben— Reuben, when, when, when did you have the greatest urge to go into your father's wife? When you were closest to the blessing. Because other than this guy Reuben, Joseph was also there that day. You know the story of Joseph? You know, Potiphar's wife said, let's do the same thing. What was she trying to do? She was trying to also drag him out of the plan of God. Are you with me? What I'm showing you is that the things you are facing as pressure, you are not the only one facing it. As many as need what you need will face it. It is they that purge themselves from this. Um, you know the way COVID came? I don't know how COVID was here. I know when you want to do COVID test, they will put some things in people's nose, huh? They put those things in your nose, right? Nobody put anything in my nose. I just said I'm not going to travel anywhere because they'll put on my nose, come out in my eyes. But COVID was not just in London, it was in America, it was in Japan, in China, in Nigeria, in Ghana, in South Africa. Now everybody form a straight line. Life is in such a way that if you find a man from United States, from America, from Tanzania, from Afghanistan, from Israel, from— give me a name now— Botswana. If all these men emerge at the same time, when you pay attention to their stories, you discover that although they have not met, a particular dealing began around the same time. And those who couldn't rise, although they have not met, a particular temptation that is common began around the same time. When did Reuben had the urge to sleep with his father's wife? The same time Potiphar's wife had the urge for Joseph. What I'm trying to show you is that it is not so much about those things than the timing. Because God is a God of time, the devil too has become a creator of time. And that pressure saying yield, it is because there's a time that you are not aware of, and the one who is bringing the pressure knows the time. And if you bow to that time, people wander out of destiny, and before another oscillation comes Time is gone. Are you with me? The issue is not that it will not recalibrate. The issue is the time it will take. And sometimes when it will have to take that time, um, what should— what Moses should start at 40 will have to begin at 80, and there's no much time left. If there's a prayer I want you to pray before I continue this Father, I don't want to miss the appointed time. Uh, please, that's, that's the prayer. I, I don't— see, these are not prayer of witchcraft. Pray this one like your life depends on it. I don't want to miss the appointed time. I don't want to miss the appointed time. Do something. Do something. Help me. Only you can help me. Only you can help me. Only you can help me. Only you can help me. Only you can help me. Only you can help me. I don't want to miss that time. I don't want to miss that time. Except you help me, I'm helpless. Thank you, Father. Blessed be your holy name. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Okay, um, let, let the guys in front sit down for a while. Uh, we're going to come back to these generations I'm going somewhere. Let's give them a big hand. Um, is somebody picking what I'm teaching? Hm? How do I describe the tragedy of missing your time? Look at what the Bible says. If, if there's a projection to project the Bible. Give us Ecclesiastes chapter number 3. Ecclesiastes 3. Ecclesiastes 3. Let's, let's start reading from verse 1, then I jump. Can we read verse 1 together? If you're there, say amen. All right, let's read it together. 1, 2, 3, go! To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven. Again. Ah, no, don't read it in London way, read it in Nigerian way. 1, 2, 3, go! Everything. Yes, 2 more times. Now hold on, when, when you read this, don't, don't, don't read like that. Look at it again and then see. 1, 2, 3, go again. To everything there's a season and a time to every purpose. Again. Let me explain this in a simple way, okay? Look at this story. I was told this story Um, it's an unfortunate one, um, and I'm going to use this to illustrate how the spirit realm works, okay? Um, robbers came to rob, um, in an environment— you guys don't get to have much of that here, am I correct? Talk to me now. It doesn't get to happen here, right? It happens, but not so much. I was in Glasgow yesterday. Before you will break somebody's fence, could first kill you. So, so you have to think, you have to be sure that what you are stealing is worthwhile. We're talking about some thieves that will come and prepare a bar and eat because the economy is hard. Are you with me? But these, these were sophisticated thieves, so they, they, they, they went to rob a bank. How do I help you understand this now? So there was another guy who was working in his workplace. He had absolutely nothing wrong with him, just felt like strolling out. You know the story, but it didn't just feel like strolling out, he also felt like hearing music. So he plugged his earphone, plug the earphone and entered the car. The issue was not the strolling out, the issue was what was locking at that time. He drove out and the music was loud. And as he was driving, everywhere was silent. And people tried to wave, stop, stop, thieves! But he couldn't hear because he was playing into a time. And as he, he passed, ah, the thieves saw the vehicle passing. What audacity! And pointed their gun and shot him on the forehead, and he died. Um, when disasters are going to happen, who they will happen to is X, a variable. It's not always constant. It is the one who does not understand that there are fullness of time, both of good and evil that were playing to them. Are you with me? It was not a written— you know, the mistake we make as believers is that when something like that happens, we say God ordained it. God doesn't ordain evil for his children. He said, I know the thought that I think towards you, they are thought of what? Peace, not evil, to give you what? Unexpected end. So when the devil sees that, some— how, how will you say that was not a well-calculated math? Sometimes people could have waited 5 minutes longer and they would have lived 20, 30 years longer. Why is it that at that time that death is knocking, the urge becomes more? At the time that to miss it eternally is knocking, the desire to misbehave becomes what? I'm saying it is not so much about what you are doing, but the time. You are playing into the hands of a being that is more superior and more sophisticated than you. Unfortunately, he has more information. And if you doubt the capacity of this creature, you also ask yourself, why is it that when Moses was born, that was when they were killing all the male child? If we call that a coincidence, was also a coincidence that when Jesus was born, they were also killing the male child? Sometimes the attack on the family is not on the father and mother, but on the one who should liberate them. The devil does not know who, so let's afflict everyone because he knows the time. Are you with me? I sense, because I don't like to just teach, I like people who pray too. Let me, let me ask you another question. Have you seen people Hey, ka mate ka frate. Have you seen people who marry spouses that somewhere later in life they have an argument and either the man or the woman will stab the spouse sometimes 16 places in their sleep and they will drown in their own blood? Was there not a time they went to where they met the person? Would God not have done everything possible to make sure you don't go there? I'm saying sometimes somebody has played into a wrong timing, but the fruit is not ripe yet. Are you with me? It doesn't mean— it doesn't change the fact that you have initiated the— if you jump from a high mountain and say, I don't want to die, it is too late. I'm saying somebody is midair, but we can avert it. Are you following what I'm saying? Let me give you a prayer like this. Get up like men of war. Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't. If there's anything that has been initiated in the process of my journey that is becoming a deadly fruit that is ripening, you are the God of time and season, rescue me by your mercy. Pray that prayer like your life depends on it. Rescue me by your mercy. Rescue me by your mercy. Rescue me by your mercy. Rescue me by your mercy. Rescue me, rescue me by your mercy. Rescue me by your mercy. Rescue me by your mercy. Rescue me. You are the God of times and seasons. Rescue me. I don't want to play into the hands of the enemy. Rescue me by your mercies, Lord. Rescue me. Oh yes. Oh Lord, help me, help me. You know, I taught you to pray for help. Help me, Jesus, thou Son of David. Have mercy on me. Help me, help me. Thank you, Father. We bless your holy name. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Say that amen loud enough. Amen. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Amen. Sit down for a while. Maybe somebody is asking, say, Apostle, what you are describing is scary. What if I've already missed it and made a decision should not have been made. Is there anyone that has such question? What happens when a man miss a crucial time? Is there remedy? Uh, once counsel somebody The husband and wife have been having back and forth. This is years back, back and forth. The man will beat the woman blue-black. She had to report him to the law enforcement agents, and then they gave him restraining order. Must not touch her again, if not, this, this, that. One day they had a strong argument. She went to bed, she went to bed, and she noticed in the middle of the night when she got up to ease herself that the guy actually took a knife. He slept and rolled away from the knife. That was how she saw it. So she actually called me in the middle of the night, Pastor, he has a knife. I said, lock yourself up. It doesn't matter how hard he begs, don't open the door. Call family and friends to be there before you open. It is better to be alive and need the marriage to be repaired than to be dead, because he can kill you and write suicide note on your behalf. What happens when people have missed it that big? The Lord said, I will restore the years that the locusts and cankerworms have eaten. Nobody can reverse time, only him can. Time lost cannot be regained, not where God is. Sometimes, what else? You, you know, sometimes our gospel is so not complete. Because we preach like everything is perfect. You can be in a situation where you know you missed a major junction. Have you— you know when you drive with Google Maps? I don't know how it works here, but in Lagos, when you have 5 minutes remaining, you just take one turn, you can have 2 hours 5 minutes remaining. Because now you have hold up alone, it's going to be about 1 hour 45 minutes. And sometimes it's like that in life. You are close until you made a decision. And the question now is, what can be done? I've made a mistake. Sometimes the price for that mistake is your calling. Would that not be what Samson was saying? Told Delilah the secret. And it was end of the road. What Delilah did was end of the road. Eyes is out, nothing more again. Couldn't tell at what age, maybe in his 40s, maybe late 30s, maybe early 50s. I don't think it will be more than that. And suddenly, through one mistake he made himself, end of the road. But he called God, say, 'Can I get a favor just one more time? Give me my strength back. I need it this one time.' God did not say, 'You, I'm angry with you.' He answered. I'm careful. There are examples I want to give you, but they will have to mute the camera when it gets to where it gets to. There are matters, you know, we speak wisdom among them that are mature. Let me share this coded one. It's a coded one. I'm not saying it's a law, but it's something I heard and it was scary. One of my spiritual daughters was talking to me just then. She just came newly and she said Should I share this story? But that's the only way I can explain what I want to say without getting into trouble. Bloggers can pick anything now. See what Apostle Lazarus said in London. Wow, that guy is a fool. We know he's a fool. He's all these pastors, the ritual pastors. She married this guy who beat her in hell. It's a scary story. I'm not making anything out of it, but it's just a story. Auntie got married within a year. He has beaten her several times, and one day the guy was dressing to go to work. Then he fell down and died. Ah, I said, well, he fainted and he died. They did everything, he didn't wake up. Was he sick? No. Ah, what happened? He said, the only thing I know was that I told God— that's who was talking now— that anything that will not make me fulfill your original plan for my life, take it out. I said, you don't mean it. He said, that's a covenant between me and God. Ah. So I said to her, when the time comes that a guy is interested in you again, let me know so I can give the guy OT that this is Jesus' babe, no touch am. Swahili. Eh, I'm not making anything out of that story. Hm, I'm saying sometimes the matter is already bad and then something just happens. Let me leave it there. If there's anybody here who is in situation that is bad enough already, the hand of God will bring you out. Amen. You will never see God fight for you if all you do is fight. Hey, do you know who I am? I'm going to show you in this house. You are nobody. People who are, who are what they say to be, don't say it. It's a normal thing. When boy say, do you know who I am in this city? The fellow is a nobody. If you are somebody, it will announce itself. He said, I will restore the years that the locusts— you know what locusts are? Locusts are dangerous. You know why? As they eat, they defecate. So first, when time pass, you can reverse it. They now said the one that locusts and cankerworms ate. When you look at your life and say, Okay, I, I know I have missed it. He said, no, I can reverse the hand of time. And just when you get to the junction where you don't know how it should reverse the hand of time, the only prayer you can pray is help me. There are help you cry for even you don't know how it will come. Have you been there before? Um, my, my wife, um sent me a message and then said, um, I want you to pray for so-and-so person. Um, they said the person has cancer. I said, tell that person we are going to go on a journey and this is not going to be unto death. The last time I showed you now Hm, that Joshua was in the process of victory, then suddenly they said the sun was setting, and he said, let the sun not set till I finish. That's suspending time. Just when his life was getting beautiful, they said it is over already. He said, I can show up, and God is showing up for somebody here. Sometimes there are, there are cases that the— what the case seeks to do is to tell the person it ends here. Well, who is it that says a thing when God does not? You know, you know why Samson died? That was what he requested for. Say, let me die with them. And that's what the devil likes. He wants you to be so discouraged, you don't think God can forgive you, so that you think even if he gives one last chance, let me just perish with my enemy. Because to Samson, it's like, what is the essence of a mighty man who is blind? But to God, it could be another story— the story of the blind mighty man. A girl can get pregnant out of wedlock and say, ah, God called me to marriage ministry, is finished. I'm to God, I am writing a story of resilience. And say, let me drink poison and end it. Who is he that says a thing when God has not said it? Are you saying even a person miss it in marriage, God can stitch you up big time? A man used to beat his wife. Anyhow, and one day she got home and she met him crying. Oh boy, what's the issue? Sit down. What's the issue? She said, you know, he told her that he was sleeping that afternoon and he saw Jesus came to warn him, stop beating my daughter. And then also added a few things. I won't tell you what he added. You know, I saw a movie clip scrolling online. Is there any guy that gym say? You go to the gym? Let me— okay, if you don't go to, but you look like it. No, you could look like it. Come on, come, come, come, come. Guy, this man will beat anybody. So Now, a perfect example. Favour, you come. So Favour is interested in this man's daughter, and they went home to see the girl. Then the man held his hand and brought him to a room where about 9 of them are standing with their chest And they just wanted him to know, the daughter of whom you are in love with, break the heart, will smash you. He got the gist, so he said, you can go now. So he went. I've seen cases where Jesus went ahead to show up and say, that's my child. The Israelites could not come out. It was God who said, let my people Go. It doesn't matter how complicated it is, the hand of God is bringing you out. They are not— maybe because I'm wearing jeans so I don't look like a prophet. It doesn't matter how complicated. Have you been in a case where your conclusion is only God now can bring me? Just when you are aware only God can bring you out, that is what he specializes in doing. He likes to do what no one else can do so he can take all the glory. Are you with me? He's bringing you out. The Israelites said, we are tired of this manna, give us meat or we'll stone you to death. God told Moses, tell them by this time tomorrow, meat you will eat till it comes out of your nose. Moses said, me, I should tell them, if we kill all the animals in this wilderness, will it be enough for this? You know they are people. Moses was looking down, God was bringing the meat through flight. And the Bible said a strong wind went from the Lord and brought whales. He's the God of all flesh. There's nothing too hard. I've seen SS become AA. That's a medical impossibility. I've seen cancer being reversed. Um, I can't remember when we're having the meeting, a lady connected online whose father was blind. She only connected on his behalf. You know, there are miracles you are not even expecting. Thank God, even if you can just see bit by— and she called him, say, I'm praying for you now. The man said, I woke up seeing. If there's anything that makes it look like time is now against you, God will bring you out. The defender of his own people, we call him Olu Beja. The one who defends you without having to pull out anything. He will, he will speak up for you. I think— please sit down for a while. God wants me to decree about cases that looks impossible. Every matter that represent end of the road, every matter that represent conclusions that this is, this is it, huh? Have you seen Ezekiel 37? In the valley of dry bones, it did not come when they just died. It did not come when the flesh was still there. It did not come when the muscles were still there. It came when everything had gone and the bones were scattered. That's the height And that was what Mary was saying. If you had come while Lazarus was still sick, you would have healed him. Why did you wait till he died? Not even day 1, day 2, day 3, day 4. He said, by now he smells. He only has one word: open the grave. He doesn't respect end of the road. He's the way. There's no end of the road for him. Open. Just get out of my sight. Open the grave. And they did. And he only had one statement: Father, thank you because you hear me always. Lazarus, come forth. He didn't call him twice. He that was dead got up. Everything dead or alive has ears to hear. The time spent complaining, spend that time speaking what he says. Are you following what I'm saying here? Say loud and clear, it is not the end of the road. It is not the end of the road. Say it again, it doesn't end here. It doesn't end here. Doesn't. Sometimes you wait for it to be too late in your realm, so it can be a thing that is reserved for only his realm. He likes to display his majesty. A guy was born blind, not just blind, there was no socket. He said, who sinned? Nobody. This one is so that the glory of God can be made manifested. And he spat on the ground and molded clay. The way I did it from the beginning, I'm still doing it now. Say, go and wash your face. And the guy began to see. Just to demonstrate. Without me was not anything made that was made. I am the maker of all things. God is reversing time for people. He's reversing time. And for some, he's shrinking time. For some, he's shrinking time. For some, he's shrinking time. For some, he's shrinking time. I have a few stories. Some of them are too complicated. Are you aware that the most difficult stories to share are stories that reflect mercy? Because they are provoc— they can be provocative, because you see God show up And you say, what's that? Let me try and share one. Year 2000 and, um, should it be 2011? Um, a young lady I was mentoring called me in the morning and said, Pastor, where are you? I said, well, said, please, sir, we need you now. I said, I'm coming. Went to the church. She was waiting in church. So I got to the church, I met a young man with her, and the moment the both of them saw me, the guy went on his face, the girl knelt down. Ah, what's happening? What's going on? Hold on, hold on, stand up. Then the guy began to explain, said Yesterday they came to this place for evangelism. Okay. Say he tried to visit his babe. Okay. Say then while they were talking, rain began to fall. Okay. Then the rain didn't stop on time, and then at that time they could not find bus. Ah, okay. Say so compassionately she decided if he should sleep the floor. She will sleep the bed. Okay, go on, go on. You know, that kind of time sleep won't come. So in the middle of the night, she felt so compassionate that why should he be on bare floor? It's cold. Uh, you come here, I, I will sleep and face the wall. Okay, you two face the wall. But you know, there's something that bridge the distance, so the rest is, is trip.
