You're shaped by your family and your nation's leadership in ways you don't notice. What feels normal to you is culturally relative, inherited from your parents and the broader wiring of where you live. Understanding these influences matters before you try to change yourself.
Chapters
What you are today is the product of the wiring of yesterday. What I'm saying is that your life as it is now is not innocent. A product of many things, good and bad. You are a product of what happened to your parents. You are a product of what happened to your country. You are a product of how well they were hijacked. You are a product of many of those things. There are many things that you are thinking now, you're— that it is your own normal, but it is not the normal. One of the biggest assumptions you can have is to think that what is normal to you is what is normal. What is normal to you is not necessarily what is normal. The culture of a territory is the abomination of another place. We have neighbors in our house, and every family seems to be happy and doing their stuff, but you notice that different families have different cultures. When you go to a house, the way they do their things is different and all that. So take your country as a bigger family. Take the quality of leaders as the quality of parenting you've experienced. It shapes you. It builds its own construct for you. Hear what I said. Take your country as your family. Because it is. Then take the quality of leaders you've experienced as the quality of parents you've experienced for a long time. So if I begin to mention your parents, you'll not be happy. It is, but it's a construct. Before we start addressing family, before we start addressing, let's first address just by mere exposure to your nation, it has made you a kind of person. And the kind of person it has made you determines the way the world will perceive you.
