Why should I believe in Jesus? What’s the proof that what the bible said is true?

A speaker presents evidence for Jesus's resurrection: the empty tomb, his appearances over forty days, early believers' willingness to die for the message, and Jesus as the sole Christ. He argues these facts make a compelling case for Christian belief.
Chapters
Do you know what you believe? You are putting your entire life on the fact that somebody they told you came many years ago, came. Somebody they told you died, died. And they told you with all this your brain, they told you, you sat down, they were preaching to you. I'm telling you that he rose for you on the third day. You all your degree in school, you carried it and believed. What is the proof that this thing is true? What if you die tomorrow and it's just endless darkness? What's your proof? Because now we have to investigate the gospel you received. What's your proof that Christianity is real? And what's your proof that Jesus is the only way? Do you even believe that? What does that even mean? Are you still going to continue hanging all this your life on the fact that they told you that one guy came who died at 33 and a half years old, and they told you he died and arose? Who does that? How can one person die and one person rose from the dead, then all of us will now have to live for that one person? Is that not selfishness? Think about it. You can collect your own life back. The fact that Jesus died, the fate of all humanity hung in the balance. Anybody can die. Ah, but the fact that on the third day out of the grave came bursting forth the power of life and Jesus rose from that place, he settled all argument. And guess what? There is also a historical proof to that. The grave is still empty till today. They can point you to different graves. You can't show us the bones of Jesus. He would not suffer the bones of his holy one to see corruption. Some people have claimed to be Christ, that they will die, and they died. They didn't rise. There's only one Christ. Some people have entered lion's den and say it ate them. What if Jesus didn't rise? When, when they told them, when, when they went there that morning to go check Mary Magdalene, she got there The tombstone had been rolled. It, it was not just rolled, an angel sat on it. Authority. It was showing that the, the civilization that raised him were not hiding it. Why seek ye the living amongst the dead? Go, as he said to you, he's risen. Some guys were on their way From— to Imaneus, and they were talking, this Jesus of the Bible, see what they did to him and all that, and look at what they did to Jesus and all that. Who even know all this insane? What we saw, it was a miracle. While they were talking, a stranger joined them and they were talking together, and it was— and the Bible said he began to expound scriptures to them. He opened their understanding. Ought not Jesus sought to have first suffered, then die before he enter into his glory? Show them scriptures. And they got to Jerusalem, entered their room, and ate. He broke bread. Then their eyes got open and they saw him. Ha! It's you! Then he vanished. Then they said, did not our heart burn when he spake to us? He— listen, after he rose, for 40 days he kept showing himself to people. He ate with them so that history will have no excuse to— listen, the early 3 guys so believed they were willing to die. That was what spread the revival. Kings began to marvel. For people to be dying for this cause, they must know what they believe. The reason we argue and we are confused is because we have no sacrifice. Yes, sir. The proof that I know him is that my life is being staked daily. That one day I will see him in glory. And if you have any loved one who have passed, we so believe it's just a matter of when we will see them in the glory of the Father. This is the blessed hope that we have. We are not like them who mourn like unbelievers. It's our blessed hope. Get the full message on Femi Lazarus Digital Library app today.
