WORD IMMERSION || DAY 10 || 18TH FEBRUARY

In this live teaching, Femi Lazarus leads a worshipful gathering that moves from praising God and seeking spiritual illumination to an extensive biblical exposition on the nature of God’s covenant versus promise, using Deuteronomy 8:18 and the Abraham narratives (Genesis 12, 17, 22, 24) to illustrate how God’s oaths bind believers to obedience, hospitality, and intercession. Lazarus contrasts promise (a future expectation) with covenant (a binding oath that demands faithful action) and shows how Abraham’s journey from promise to covenant models the required progression for believers: humility, obedience, and readiness to fight spiritual delays. The sermon then shifts to the symbolic and practical importance of “gates” – biblical seats of authority where decisions are made – citing Proverbs 24:7, Proverbs 31:23‑31, and the story of Naboth’s death, emphasizing that true spiritual authority is exercised at the gates through prayer and intercession. Lazarus warns of systemic delays, pride, and lack of hospitality that hinder believers, urging the audience to adopt a mindset of building (both physical structures and spiritual “gates”), to confront “giants” (cultural, economic, spiritual) with humility and divine empowerment. The session concludes with collective prayer for leaders, a call to preserve the spiritual heritage, and a reaffirmation of the community’s commitment to the upcoming “Holy Ghost Experience” and the building of physical churches.

Amen.
Hallelujah.
Can you hear me? All right, let's give Jesus a very big hand. Amen. Hallelujah.
Here.
How many of you were blessed yesterday?
Sure.
How many of you are ready for today? Amen.
Amen.
God bless you. In the next 2 minutes, can you pray in tongues? You're committing your heart and mind to the hands of God. You're committing your heart and mind to the hands of God to fill you with wisdom, to fill you with wisdom. Ask for it. Ask for it. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Pray in the Holy Ghost. Few more minutes. Pray in the Holy Ghost. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' mighty name we have Are you ready for the word? Let's give Jesus a big hand. Before you sit, um, can you make those online hear well and see? Just, just doesn't take much to do. That. All right, let's be people of excellence. Before you sit— something happened. I was talking to one of our pastors, our pastor in London. The sound is bad, and we, we have a facility that we've been trying to secure. We've paid thousands of pounds, and for no just cause, there was unnecessary delay, and so many strange things wasting our time, and we're paying thousands of pounds in other places. Amen.
Amen.
So I called her and I said, this is no longer natural. I said, start a prayer watch immediately. They called for the prayer watch on Saturday night. On Sunday, the facility called them and says, ready. Hold on. There is a spirit of smallness in this city. I'm looking at you now and I'm seeing potentials, what can be. Not when you pray, when you pray the right prayers. Okay, down. Sit down, sit down. I wanted you to pray now, but you don't seem to me as someone who is ready. So No, still sit, sit. I would like to teach you. Sit down, sit down. Life is spiritual. Life is what? Say it loud and clear. Life is what?
Spiritual.
Um, tomorrow, PPC, um, I'll take my time to explain more. Whenever you notice that things are dragging walking without any real reason. See all this nonsense. Can I have a mic? I can't do this. When you begin to notice that things Maybe in your finance and in your business or ministry. If we're going to reach the ends of the earth, I'll have to reduce coming here because you're not ready. When you begin to notice that there are kinds of delay you can't trace, don't joke. The issue with many believers is that they desire change, they're not ready to fight for it. Are you ready to fight for it?
Yes, sir.
I'm telling you, life is deeply spiritual. If care is not taken, you just look at your life and see almost, almost, almost, almost, almost, almost. It's not enough to hear all these things. The real place This is the place of warfare. Do you understand? I don't want this place to become Nazareth where Jesus couldn't do much. C'est là. So, cher Deuteronomy chapter number 8. I get you, today is more serious, so I understand. We read verse 18. If you're there, say amen. Ah, all right. Deuteronomy chapter number 8, verse 18. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God For it is he that giveth thee—
what?
Power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto thy fathers. As it is this day. So I'm focusing on that. That's the next phrase there, or the next sentence, that he may he establish his covenant, which he swear— not which he promised. So if we're going to understand which covenant, we need to go look at where God swore. Do you get it?
Yes, sir.
In Genesis 12, he promised. We saw that. I really— see, nothing is going to hinder what I want to teach you. There's the environmental feedback is bad. Can they help me? Nothing is going to hinder what I want to teach you, but I need you, just you, stay with me. Is that okay? Forget about the struggle, stay with me. There are things in your life— I think it's better now— that are on covenant basis. There is a level higher than that, that now they're on oath basis, and that's the point where God commits himself in his integrity and might to an act of obedience. For instance, When you look at the Covenant of the Sure Mercies of David, that's an oath. Sure Mercies of David, he said, even if your children forsake my law and refuse to walk in my statutes, with my rod will I chastise them, but What my loving kindness will I not take away from them? That when it comes to oath basis, you become insignificant to stop it. On covenant basis, he said, I said before that Eli and his house will be priests forever. Say, but now what? Far be it from me, because they that honor me I will honor, they that despise me I will lightly esteem. So what's the difference between a covenant and an oath? An oath is an everlasting stance of God on a matter. Are you still here? So the promise in Deuteronomy chapter number 8, verse 18 is in fulfillment to God's oath. You understand that? Look at Genesis 12 from verse 1. Genesis 12 from verse 1. Now the Lord had said to Abram, get thee out of thy country, from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, to a land I will shew thee. Yes. And I will make thee a great nation, I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing. Yes. And I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse you, and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed. The Lord has said to him, get thee out of your father's house, and all that. For instance, Enlight Nation We say God has made 4 covenants with us. One, the covenant of life. Two, the covenant of ease. Three, the covenant of God's sure mercies. Four, the covenant of praise. But I can tell tell you situations and events that God now said now. When God has spoken and he's speaking and he now says now, it means you are just about to start seeing those things. You can recite covenant and not enter the Now God has made covenant of ease. Is it easy for you? Don't just recite it. If you are not seeing it, ask questions. God, what's going on? Why is this a general statement but is scarcely observed in my life? Then we move and see scripture because Isaac could not come at the level of a promise. You didn't hear what I said. Isaac won't come at the level of what? A promise. So you begin to see God make certain statements. Genesis 17 from verse 1. Genesis 17:1. Look at the state. And when you read your Bible, you, you read Read not with assumption of what anyone has told you before. Read as a student, not as a scholar. Look at this statement: And when Abraham was 90 years old and what? 9. How many years is that? 99. How young is a 99-year-old man? 99-year-old man is old, very old. When he was 90 and 9, the Lord appeared to Abraham and said to him, I am the Almighty the Almighty God. Walk before me and be thou perfect. Look at the next verse. And I will make my covenant between me and you. What covenant did he made in chapter 12?
Huh?
Talk to me.
Yes, sir.
What did he say in chapter 12? Was that a mirage? No, it was Up to 17, he said, I've not made the covenant. When your work can be perfect, I will. Wow, that's what God was saying. So if you Genesis 12 and say, okay, God, God, God, are you following what I'm saying? It means that Lot did not wait to be part of the covenant, because when he had a promise is, and he left in chapter 13. As far as your eyes can see is not the covenant. He's training your sight for the covenant. I want to take you into the covenant today. I understand that the devil might be mad, but you stay with me. Are you here?
Yes, sir.
Go back to that And I will make my covenant between me and thee and multiply thee exceedingly. And Abraham fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying— you see, when you are on a journey with God and the journey did not humble you, it's not God you are working with. Can I say it again? When you're on a journey with God and the journey did not humble you, it's not God. You shall remember the way which the Lord your God led you these 40 years in the wilderness. Deuteronomy 8 from verse 3. To prove you, to know what is in your heart, to test test you, to know whether— to humble you, to know whether you will deny him or not. Humility is part of the sign that it is God you are working with, because the more you know is the more you know you don't know. Are you following what I'm saying? Look stop and look at— by the time we, we go to Genesis chapter number 18, something had significantly changed about Abraham. And I'm going to teach you a very, very important secret today that you should never forget. Once you learn this secret, um, you'll be able to neutralize delays. Everyone want to know the secret to neutralizing delays? I'll show you. By the time we go to Genesis chapter number 18, something had changed. Ah, listen though, there must be a difference between the man that God promised and the man that God is making an oath to. If it is the same man, it will not happen. You say, okay, so God, God said this, I believe it. Listen to what I'm saying. You will just be boasting with a promise and you will never look like it. He said, what is a promise? I will Is it I have? I will make your name great. Are you the only one that will carry the name? If I can't make you, your name great through you, I'll make your name great through your children. If I can't make your name great through your children, I'll make your name great through their children. If I can't make your name great through their— it will be through their own grand children, but the name will be great.
You—
let's pray in the Holy Ghost because I can't move on. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name we pray.
Amen.
Sit down. Look at what I'm showing you. Genesis 12:1-2. Now the Lord has said to Abraham, get thee out of thy country and from thy kindred and from thy father's house unto a land I will shew thee. In Genesis 12:2, I will make you— do you see it in your Bible?
Bible.
Forget about the D, give us, um, New King James. I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing. And I'll bless them that curse you, bless you and curse them that curse you. All right, did you see that? In Genesis 12:5, he went with Lot. In Genesis 12:7, and the Lord appeared to Abraham and said, unto thy seed. Will I give this land? And they build an altar. You must know when God is still speaking, but now no longer about you, your seed. It means stay alive and bet, and I will start again. You get it? Look at it. Genesis chapter number 18. We are seeing two new features in Abraham. In waiting, he was learning God. And in Genesis 18, when he was in his tent by the plain of Mamre, he saw some men passing. You know, if you have never waited before, there's a kind of arrogance you have. Now he had become so hospitable that he ran after them. And in that same Genesis 18, Abraham had to move from hospitality to intercession, then to be becoming the father of nations before you can become the father of Isaac. You want to father Isaac just like that?
No.
Explain. If you Okay, all right, let me just function with the both of you. Come, both of you should come. Let's assume this is a 40-year-old man and this is a 35-year-old man, and they are friends, and both of them are waiting, trusting God for a future partner. Their focus is on the goal. What they are waiting for is the Isaac. To become a father of nation is to put your own pain aside to begin to intercede for this person. It is that quality of man that can carry Isaac. So you start looking around you. Who are those who have been in this waiting process before I joined the queue? Make them your project. That's it. The reason why many people will wait on the queue for long, because they've not become intercessors for others. We have not an high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, seeing that he was in all points tempted like we are, like as we are, and yet without sin. He can be touched with the feelings. Once you are saying me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me. You are a father of Ishmael. You must move from me thing to us, that even when your own day of joy comes, if there's someone you met in waiting room who is still waiting, your joy is not full. So the question is, who are you not praying for? God is not Ah, sit down. I don't know what I did wrong with this mic, but it's okay, I'll manage. Abraham, it is that quality of man that can get Isaac. So there's a journey from the 75-year-old Abraham to the father of nations. The journey is wide. Your problem is that you are wired to think, what if mine doesn't come. If you are thinking like that, you are a lot. So you quickly want to divide your own portion. Let me see what I can get out of this and move on. That's what I was telling PPC this morning. You manage, get some money, right? And buy some tokumbo ka. How much? Oh, you rent a good house. Oh, you built. At least it's better than those in your village, then you're satisfied. Satisfied. Part of the things you need to enter into the old dimension is restlessness.
Oh boy.
All right, I didn't intend to spend this long time explaining this. But can I show you a few things? Yes, sir. Turn your Bibles to the book of Hebrews. Hebrews chapter number 11, verse 30.
3.
Are you there? You know, this teaching is not for every Christian. There's a touch of brutality to it. Look at this. Um, let's start from verse 32 because I'm not sure who ought to be the beginning of that. Look at verse 32. What shall I more say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon and of Barak and of Samson and of Jephthah, of David, all of David also, and of Samuel, and of the prophets, who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouth of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weaknesses were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to fight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they may obtain a better resurrection. And others had trials of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment. They were stoned and were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskin, being institute, afflicted and tormented, of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and in mountains and in dens and caves. All these, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise. It's not a house you're looking for. Now I have to give several illustrations. Demonstration. Let me have 3 people join your hands together.
3 of them.
Now face me, face this side. Let's say this is part of the people that the Bible referred to. Abraham, talk to me now. Let's say Moses, and let's say David, the general description of them is that they were men who wandered in deserts. And then what that means is that despite the dispensational difference, there is a point where the work of David met the work of Abraham and met the work of Moses. This is you, you're digging your own small well. The proof that you understood the assignment is that when we are looking at the general map of everything, your work must corroborate with their works. You can't get a car and go to sleep. There is still a touch of wretchedness in your a soul that can't be quenched by more houses, cars, and more money. That's the difference between you and Bill Gates. So it's like we are in for a lot of not understanding me tonight, but at least you'll get I'm telling you something.
This is—
look at— ah, are you still here? Look at what the Bible says. By the time we got to Genesis chapter number— now put side by side, and the media, right, you need more gadgets. I want you to put side by side Deuteronomy 8:18 if you can, and Genesis 20: 22. Genesis 22:16. Is this something you can do? Ah, just, just wave if you can. If you can't, don't worry. Give either of the scriptures so I can read. Give me Deuteronomy 8:18. Thank you. This is good. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God, for it is he that giveth the power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant, which is swore to— so we have to go and look at where God would do what? Swore. So we saw that in Genesis 22, and we start reading from verse 6. Is it 6 or 16? Sorry, Genesis 22 2, um, verse 16. And the Lord said, by myself have I sworn, says the Lord. For because thou hast done this thing and hast not withheld thy son, thy holy son, that in blessing I will bless you. Now this is an oath. You will have to listen to what I'm saying. Around with promise, promise, promise, you will pass the test of obedience. It is in that obedience that God sees. When a man begins to get the result of obedience through consecration, you can't get it— same thing— by impartation.
No. Wow.
No, I can teach you. So you can learn, or you work your own work. You have to understand that.
All right, see.
There is the place of obedience being full. But most times we're not ready because an average Christian is a user. And God knows that many people are seeking after him and crying because a need still exists. If the need is met, they will not see reasons to pray, they will not see reasons to fast, they will not see reasons to obey what God is saying. Then you understand that there's been loads of things locked in their heart, and that's why all they can get is money, not greatness. Whatever it is God gives you initially is the least of what you can receive. When your obedience becomes full in that thing, you see that there's another level. Most times, not more of that thing, but another dimension entirely.
Yes, sir.
Are you learning something? You begin to find out that you can be great, you can be very great, then you can be exceedingly great. It all cost you. Most time we run with the initial blessing, and God knows the intent of man's heart, and he knows that this fellow can't handle this yet. Many Christians are in lack because God can't trust them. There are people that it is God who is resisting, not the devil. Pray against delay. God say, I'm the one doing it. He resists the proud, gives grace to the humble. He sees pride in your heart before you see it in your own act. There are two different places. There are people, it is God saying, ah, that my demonstration of mercy for this one is to stand here till I can trust the heart. Mercy for some believers is stagnation.
Why?
They are not sons. They've not it? Can God trust you? That's the question. You say, how, how is it that he's saying— listen, listen, God, God, can, can God do evil? You see, let me take I tell you something, if a child is bleeding and you have to help the child clean up the wound, suture the wound, and the child is crying, it's not evil because the child is crying. Because what you're going through is painful doesn't make it evil. If that thing has become the necessary route for your senses to come, is good. In the middle of that thing, God is good. Listen You and someone else will go pray the same prayer and the person's result will come, and that doesn't make the fellow's result a fluke. That doesn't make it less. The same thing— listen to what I'm saying— you may receive yours 10 years later and it's not higher quality. It's the same thing. There's something God has achieved in that person's heart that has not achieved in yours. Listen, what I'm— get what I'm saying? Because you can begin to tell yourself things that make you sleep well at night and begin to console yourself that usually when it comes late, it's coming big. It's not always true. Sometimes it's coming late because you don't have sense. I'm just— can I talk to you? Right, just understand that you must know that there are difference. Now listen, sit sit down. It is not process if you can trace disobedience. It is not process, that's delay. Until God has— God is still saying, walk before me and be perfect. Don't call it process. Process begins when your obedience is complete. Are you following what I'm saying here? Are you learning something? They know all this process. See, count me out. Let me flex Rolex. It will amaze you. Believers who are high in nightclub, but they can't afford it yet, they pray like my people pray. Look at what the Bible says. Ezekiel 33 from verse 30, Message Translation. Ezekiel 33 from verse 30, Message Translation. Ezekiel 33 from verse 30, Message translation. Are you there? Look at this. As for you, son of man, you become quite the talk of the town. Your people meet on the street corners, on street corners and in front of their houses, and say, let's go to hear the latest news from God. Let's go here, what's fresh? Look at verse 31. They show up as people tend to do. They sit in your company, they listen to you speak, but they don't do a thing you say. They flatter you, compliment. That was deep, brother.
That's deep.
That's deep. They flatter— you see, we've gone past the day of that's deep, show us in the life. They flatter you, compliment, but all they care about is what? Come on, shout it! Making and getting. That's it. God has seen it. This one is not ready to father Isaac. Give me any child. Is Ishmael— God, he took a heart for Abraham to have Ishmael and still follow God. He could say, I have my own, it's Sarah that has problem. You wonder why God can trust him, that can call Paradise Abraham's bosom. Is a heart matter. Some of you, the things that is making you proud is still Ishmael. You still have to wait Isaac out, and you've not started. You got Ishmael, you start doubting Christianity and say, you know, because now you live in a flat. Is that not flat? Ah, when you still have a prayer life when there's nothing material you are praying for, then you know God. Think about it now. Ah, before this service is over, where you are seated there, you just got an alert in your Dom account, $1 million. Say, let me, let me go, let me go and check something. Let me tell you something. I came from a place that people know how to look for money and to do ministry if this ministry is the will of God. There's a clear difference between someone who is set out to make it, then use God, and the one that is set out to walk with God, then God can trust you things. All this obedience, this, this, this— maybe because you don't just have options yet. Are you Are you still there? Let's proceed. That same Genesis 22.
Ah. Here.
Let's read verse 16 loud and clear, and 17. If you're there, say amen. Read it, 1, 2, 3, go. By myself have I sworn, thus says the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing and hast not withheld thy son, thine holy son, that in blessing I will bless you, in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven and as the sun. Your seed will possess— what you can handle in this world dimension is your seed will possess the gate of the enemy. So I'm going to take my time to teach that. There's a second part. The second part is 'and'— that's what begins it. So possessing it of the enemy is towards an end. So we're able to touch this a bit yesterday. So You shall remember the Lord thy God, for it is he that giveth you power to get wealth in fulfillment to what he swore to your fathers, that your seed will possess the gate of their enemies. So if whatever you have is of no effect at the gate, you don't have anything I will show you the gates you have to possess. Say it again. The blessing of the gate. Say it one more time. Say it one more time. When Isaac was— Abraham was going to die. Are you ready? What I'm about to tell you might get some of you scared. I might make you feel maybe you're about to spend longer years in waiting. He said, go get a wife for Isaac. And the servant heart of Abraham prayed, that the lady will already be in possession of a trait that is common to the lineage of the blessing, and that trait is hospitality. Don't be weary in entertaining strangers, for by so doing many have received angels Angels unaware. If you are not deliberate about the culture of hospitality, goodness won't stay. When angels come, they bear good tidings. I know someone that the last time I was ever there, all right, all these distant people, it was a Christmas period, preparing food for people. The kind of insults and everything that was going with the food, you'll be too filled to eat the food. The Bible said it is better to dwell in the corner of a doorway than to stay with a contentious woman. A quarrelsome— that's the meaning. Somebody who is quarrelsome, somebody who is always fighting. A visitor has come, say, what will you eat? Oh no, will you eat? Don't marry a girl who is not hospitable. Men like angels and angels like men won't be able to stay. And dear lady, don't marry a guy who is not hospitable. He will wreck you. If you're going to be a Brahmin, check for the one who can feed both you and your camels, not some petty Bye. You want to follow media or scriptures? All right, let me tell you something. I went to visit someone And this person is my friend. Usually one day he called me and said to me, he said, whenever you're coming to my house, I go— he's a pastor— he said, I go to the market myself to buy whatever we're going to cook. Because we know we are receiving a prophet. So I was there eating and I was— you really don't have to do this, you could send someone. We've been praying together about an amount of money that he needed. While I was eating, I sensed the flow in my heart. Femi Lazarus, you can do this, give him. How much is the food? And I'm talking about millions of naira. You've missed opportunities because you're stingy.
Guys, hi!
Build the Abrahamic culture. Go back and be intentional professional about hosting people. Am I teaching you too much? If anybody comes to our house and is sleeping in our house, I go to the kitchen to monitor everything they're doing to make sure that the fellow is received well myself, except I'm not around. I will I see my wife be about checking. Okay, yes, this is— no matter who is coming, son, daughter, anybody, we will do that. When are you going back to your house? Where there's no honor, grace doesn't You can stay. It's a principle. If you keep going to where you are not honored, it will look like you are not anointed. No matter what the time is saying, when you want to marry a person, check for kindness. And when you go to the girl's house or the boy's house, check their hospitality culture so you can know where your battle will start from. Okay, don't believe what I'm— no problem, no problem, no problem. Ah, no problem, it's too much.
No problem.
Let me show you something. You know, when God was telling Abraham After showing you this scripture, you can't say I've not tried. You should buy me Coke tonight. Are you following what I'm saying?
All right.
When God was telling Abraham, I've sworn to you this, this, who was there? It was Abraham that was hearing. Now, Abi, look at something very, very Powerful. Genesis chapter number 24. When Rebecca was going to go join Isaac, this was the same forth prayer by her family that did not hear what God told Abraham. Look at the same forth prayer. Genesis 24:59, look at the sent forth prayer. Let's read together. And they sent away Rebecca their sister and her nurse and Abraham's servant and his men. Yes, quickly, verse 60 now. And they blessed Rebecca and said unto her, Thou art our sister, the mother of thousands of millions. Let thy seed possess the gate of— with them. Covenant binding. Listen, it was not a mistake that the person carrying that grace is the one who carried the character. Let me tell you something, there is a level you will get to in purpose that you cannot marry outside the circumference of the old. But let's, let's, let's, let's keep that. Let's leave that, all right? Don't say I said anything.
My God.
There's a place you get to. When I was single and I was speaking to my spiritual father, he said a statement to me. Then my mentor said that statement. He said, for a man at this level, you can't marry someone who is not raised by your teachings. Because listen, at certain level You are not there to be training the novices. They will scatter the palace. So when I met my wife, when I asked, list the people you listen to, if my name wasn't here. He died, no matter what I felt. All right, well, let's leave. Thou art all the blessings. So same, you will see the person, you will see although you were in different places, but the same workings. All right, everything you believe, the person who is coming to your life fights them. You've not found this house. All the training you've ever received, say, say, this one I really—
I don't—
are you— I'm safe. See, there are some things I don't do again. Apostle, join me in praying about this. Go and hear my messages. Someone said join me in prayer. I mean, surprisingly, I traveled, God showed me a vision. I saw the guy beat error out of the girl. I said, Cheku, something is wrong. This guy that you say you hate, the girl said, I know what God told me. I said, I feel, I feel Femi Lazarus. See, at certain level, you don't argue again. Have you seen where they put two rams? I said And I'm sorry if it sounds like boasting, and I'm sorry because I know— I'm sorry, what I want to I say now, if it sounds— if a man of my caliber tells you I see, sit down, sit down. The idea is not just a child, it's Isaac. Just anybody, just, just anybody. Lord, time is going. Are you following what I'm saying?
Yes, sir.
All right. What's the significance of the gates as we read through scriptures? What does that mean in the first place? Is there any meaning to it? I want to show you a few things. Just a moment. There's a scripture I want to show you. In the olden days, the gates and the entrance of many cities has spiritual significance. Till now, many cities, the gate are very, very significant, particularly if you're an intercessor that prays over cities. Sometimes there are ritualistic works at the entrance of the gates to recondition everyone that is going to be in that city to a particular experience. The gate of the city is the real place of power. I'm trying to show you exactly which verse in Proverbs 31 woman about the husband of the wise woman being praised. Look at this, she'll be praised. Look at it. Proverbs 31, verse— let's read Proverbs 24:7, then Proverbs 31:23. Proverbs 24:7: Wisdom is too high for a fool, he openeth not his mouth in the the gate. Proverbs 31:23, about the— said, our husband is known in the gate, in the place of authority, in the place of power. So a fool can't speak in the gate because that's the seat of legislation, so he can't speak there.
Them.
But the Proverbs 31 woman, the husband is known in the gate. And because the husband is known in the gate, she will be praised at the gate. She will be praised at the gate. That should be verse. That should be verse. Her husband is known. Okay, yes, verse 31. Proverbs 31:31, look at it. Give her the fruit of her hands, let her own works praise her in the gates. So significant, so important. I mentioned to you yesterday the story of Naboth, how his dead death was orchestrated by that witch. You know her name? What's her name? Jezebel. She orchestrated how he's to die by getting wicked elders that were at the gates, and they gathered sons of Belial to say things that Naboth never did. And they said they were witness to the fact that he cursed God. And right there at the gate, they made decisions and stoned him to death. So what's the significance? You shall Remember the Lord your God, for it is he that gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish the gate-taking covenant to bring you to the place where, as a wise man, your voice is now heard at the gate. To bring you to the place where real decisions are made about the destinies of people. When God made promise about the Promised Land— please give me that scripture, the book of Numbers. They said, we are not able to take it, said, because we saw the Anak there and they were giants, so we were like grasshoppers in our sight. So were we in their sight. When God says, I will give you the gates, he didn't tell you the gates will be empty. He didn't tell you to be empty. Yeah, these people can find the scripture. He didn't tell you to be empty. You fight, you fight for it. The problem is that you are expecting that everything will happen just on the account of the fact that you were running with a proclamation, then you didn't teach yourself how to do what you should do, and then you miss God. All right, start the reading from verse, um, 30. Uh, the Bible says they brought evil report, and Caleb stilled the people. This was after they brought report, stilled the people before Moses and said, let us go up at once and possess it, for we are well able to what? Overcome it. But the men that went up with him, all right, said, we be not— ka la denikosa— we are not, we are not able.
You can—
we be not able to go up against Ebu, for they are stronger than we. Boy, oh boy, look at the next verse. And they brought up an evil report in the land which they have searched unto the children of Israel, saying, the land which we have gone to search, it is the land that eat up the inhabitants. And all the people we saw there are men of great stature. What's the next statement? And they were— they saw— there we saw giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants. And we were in our own— what?
Huh?
We were in our own sight—
what?
So what was the problem? Their perception of themselves. And so were we. So we were in their sight. You know the next statement in Numbers 14? Everybody started crying, and they wept all night. And the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, and the whole congregation said, would God that we died in the land of Egypt? Or would God that we had died in the wilderness? And wherefore hath God brought us into this land, and fall by the sword, and our wives and our children should be prey? Eh, were it not better to return to Egypt? 40 years old. Look at it. What's the next statement in verse 4? They said to one another, let us make captain among ourselves and go back. Are you not seeing it?
Let us return.
Where we are going is not for the faint-hearted. Let us return at the entrance of the promised land. At the entrance of the promised land. Let's return back to Egypt. Say, let's get nothing among ourselves. Oh yeah, sharp, sharp. You wonder 40 years was a waste. 40 years. And Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation. And Joshua the son of Nun, Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes. And they spoke to the company of the children of Israel, saying, the land which we pass— we pass through to search it is an exceeding good land. Let me tell you something. I will say it once. When I say this, my generation in the body of Christ cannot say I'm not right. When they are accusing Moses Joshua must speak. Moses will go. If you let that case get complicated, it is Joshua that will not have a ministry.
Okay.
There are fights the fathers won't fight. All right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, waiting, you are waiting. Next of kin, the first person will get property, die. Next of kin are dying awaiting. Everybody is deceived. You just buy, no ministry, nothing for you. You think it's by queue. See down. Are you following what I'm saying here? Future generation, upcoming, on time. You better start so you can get the corrections you should get early. And when those who and the most generation is going, you have already entered mastery. All right, so the question is that, can you fight for the gates? Because there are giants there. It is not the land of dwarfs. There are giants. It's not a— it is the land of giants means that they are used to devouring people with your physical stature, except if there's something more you have on the inside. Your kind, they are not new to their destruction. The same way people believe that Nigeria will be all right, there are giants at the gate. And giants give birth to giants. Dwarfs give birth to— till you decide it. Because you see that the old gigantism didn't begin from them. They said they were sons of the Anak. They are replicating giants. Are you following what I'm saying here? There are giants. The young Charu, there are giants. Do you have what it takes? Yes, or you will see around back to Egypt. That's what you've been doing since 1960. I didn't say anything. Around 1950s, 1950s. Is a generation of young people sat together in one room. I will give you notable names in Africa that were in that room, and they had a conversation that the continent can be free, but it's going to be through the power of their insights, their mind, to free the people. In the space of 20 years plus Femi Lazarus, they completed the liberation of the entire continent. 60, 75 years, 80 years after, the young people now are hooked on TikTok. Think about fashion. Those manning the gates are giants. Call their names. Think about technology. Technology, giant. Think about innovation, giant. Think about the real estate, giant. Think about any field, giant. It's not a coincidence. It's not a place for dwarf. You either grow or you are mashed. My God, please, for Recently, Amazon, in their review— because the book, um, Seeing Beyond Smokescreen, brought a lot of trouble. So in their review, they pulled down all our books and said that you cannot even in future upload books.
Problem.
Uh, they are giants. Where is our own? And even if we build it, we build it for a small niche, not to match and displace the giants. So we'll keep keeping quiet. Herod has taken James. He's coming for Peter, then it's coming for you, then you cry. They said recently USAID was discovered to be funding terrorism. That's the least of discovery.
That's—
in fact, that discovery is like pure water, where real matters are. Because all the training you have received is to work as employee for them. We have not really raised the takeover generation yet. It's not this kind of mind mind that will do that. Um, see, see, we're having a challenge one time. I'm just going to quote it. So on Sunday morning called me, say hello, hello, I'm so, so and so to the president. I heard this, this. I say yes. So I've been following your teachings, I'm this, this, this, this. Leave it to me. I say thank God. Say we didn't shine the light and put under a bushel. Let's be doing small, small. Let me tell you something, and I want to say this emphatically. From now going of God, when people gather to mob a father in the body of Christ, speak. Take that as a marching order. Sit down. Let Light Nation do it first till we see the significance.
Thank you, sir.
There's a boy who went online and was calling Daddy Joe funny names. We're in the phase that Baba doesn't have to speak again.
Yes, sir.
Sons will. They will pick them. They will not know from which country. Do I look like someone who is scared of anything or anyone? Joshua, you better speak. The people you are to lead, they are the one going back to Egypt. It's not the problem of Moses. Moses is about to go. You are the one that will have no assignment. The sword you have learned to use, this is where you are to use it. Are you following what I'm saying here?
Yes, sir.
So when Joshua speaks, he's defending his ministry.
Yes, sir.
Ah, look at you. From tomorrow, we're going to get deeper into conversations about the gates. Are you ready?
Yes, sir.
So let me allow your appetite to be fired up so that by tomorrow I take it from here. It's going to be brutal. Tomorrow ought to be my last teaching here for the week. Or like I said, I'll be here till the end of the week so that Amen.
Thank you, sir.
Amen. So that by Friday, um, Saturday, I can return back and teach in Abuja, because next week is Holy Ghost Experience. We are in the season of builders, those who are returning to rebuild the old ruins. Yes, those who are returning to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Yes, sir, that is broken down. We're in the season of builders.
Yes, sir.
Think about it, it's easier to do this teaching here and do it in Abuja because we have control over our facility. It means lack is a systemic way to lose wars.
Yes, yes, highly systemic.
This year we will not just build structures, we'll build physical buildings. Imagine that we can be here and just shut down with Ibadan alone. Shut down. Or imagine that we can't even do this one month teaching because everywhere is paper use. What God is giving you is for the possession of the gates. So if what you are still possessing is car, is cheap, if it is house, is cheap, if it— until you start buying systems, well, let's leave it. Father, I ask that the spirit of restlessness will rest upon everyone.
Amen.
They will become restless in their spirits. Amen. Till they have found the waters the fathers drank.
Amen.
And again, new generations will rise to challenge the giants.
Amen.
In Jesus' mighty name.
Amen.
God bless you.
Hallelujah!
Light Nation, what do we say to Apostle? In few minutes, can we pray for Apostle? Let's pray for Grace. Let's pray for his family, that the Lord will keep him. That the Lord will preserve him, that the Lord will keep his family and preserve his family. I want you to pray. I want you to pray it well. Pray it from the depth of your heart.
Pray it well because we are a people God has genuinely blessed.
Let's pray for our Prophet and our Father that the Lord will preserve have him, that the Lord will keep him and the family. Families online, please, can you pray, pray, pray, pray, pray?
Whatever you are watching for, pray from the depth of your heart. This one of the things you can do, to keep praying for our fathers, because these are men God has put in place. There are systems to preserve us to coming. There are systems to show us the path. Say, God, preserve them no matter what.
Keep them for for us.
You are not praying the way I want you to pray. See, this is a matter of destiny. Praying for them is a matter of destiny. It's our destiny we are preserving. It's our future we we are preserving. When we cry to God on their behalf, we are preserving our own lives, so, and we are preserving generations after us. Keep them, oh God, and preserve them. Their voice will not go down, their fire will not be request. We shut down every gang up.
Thank you, Father.
In Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. Light Nation, once more can we celebrate Apostle?
In Jesus' name we pray. Let's have our seats. Um, very quickly, um, for those Those who are giving their tithe and offering, let's be very quick as the instrument goes on, please. But, um, for those who are giving their tithe, can you rise to your feet? Let me pray with you. Father, I pray for these ones that you keep them, preserve them, let their heavens be open perpetually, and let them operate under the covenant of ease. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. All right, let the Basket go round for the offering. For those of you, um, who want to do a transfer, the account is on the screen. Hallelujah! In Jesus' mighty name we pray. All right, as the baskets go around, let me quickly make this announcement. World Emotion continues tomorrow, 5:30. I want you to invite friends and families such that this place will not be able to contain us. Imagine we are many hearing this. Imagine we are many. So I want you to invite more people. To those of you online, we bless you. God bless you so much. Apostle's book is available. You can always get them outside there. God bless you so much. Let's rise to our feet. Can we say the grace in fellowship together? May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forevermore. Amen. Surely God's goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives, for we are the house of the Lord forever and ever. Amen. Hallelujah! Celebrate someone beside you. See you tomorrow.
