I love the way the Amplified puts it. Therefore there is now no condemnation, no adjudging guilty of wrong, for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live and walk not after the dictates— the word dictate is the word demand— of the flesh, but after the dictate of the Spirit. Now look at verse 2. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Now, for what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh. Now you must understand that the word flesh there is not describing flesh and blood. The word flesh there is describing the nature of sin. It describes the unruly nature, the nature of sin, and that's the nature that a person a person who has not accepted the life of Christ has. The one who has accepted the life of Christ doesn't have that nature. At salvation, it was an exchange. It is not an upgrade. It is exchanged life. He took away the nature of flesh. Are you here? And give us the nature of righteousness. The nature of righteousness is not by effort, it is a gift. That is, we have been given the nature with which we can stand right before God, not by our own merit, but by what Christ did. Do you understand that? Now, when you have that nature, the nature ought to reflect in your life to influence you to do what is right. But doing what is right does not upgrade your righteous nature.

It is a gift. They that are after the flesh, that is the nature of sin, do mind the things of the flesh. But they that are after the spirit, right, the things of the spirit. Now verse 6 now says, to be carnally minded is what? Is death. And to be spiritually minded is life and peace. The Amplified Translation says, now the mind of the flesh, which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit, is death. Now showed us that death that comprises all mysteries— not mysteries, mysteries— arising from sin, both here and hereafter. So let me explain. There are mysteries that came from sin. One of those mysteries is sickness. By one man sin entered the world, and death through sin. And sickness is actually a product of the nature of death. What this simply means is. And although I'm not supposed to introduce this now, but I can touch it. If you understand what it means to live by the nature of the Spirit, you actually ought not to be sick. If you don't understand that, you don't even understand what eternal life is, because this is the life— he said this is eternal life. That you may know him. So it's in knowledge. You walk in the reality of that life to the degree of the knowledge you have accessed. And you must understand, it is life in quality and quantity like God has it. It is in quality and quantity. What Christ came to give you was not less than what Adam had. And it is amazing how you can study life of the Adam that fell that even after the fallen nature of the man, it took him close to 1,000 years to learn to die. Because you, if you are not careful, you, you, an average person is programmed to die. Your environment tells you, the things that you see tells you, you see. There's a book I should have out this year as touching where science meets God, but hey, but that's how we go. Yes, because if you even understand this life, then you'll understand that there is no scientific discovery without the help of God. In fact, there is no science without God, because both your principles of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, whatever it is you are— all the dynamics are built on existing laws that are predicated on God's faithfulness. The fact that there is a God who doesn't shift is the reason why you can build around that law.

Are you feeling— I'm saying, what's medicine? You are studying what God created. What are you trying to come in anatomy? What exists? Okay, let me show you how the carnal mind works. Come, John, face there. I need a strong man. Somebody who is certain you go to gym. Come now, obi obi, coach. Whatever happens to him is your responsibility. Stand. Fall. Go back. Shift back a bit. Fall again. Now hold on. Okay, fall again then. Let him hold you. You see, this is what faith looks like. This is what life and peace looks like. A carnal mind can't trust this process because how can you trust who you can't see. Can't. And that's why, as we continue reading, you see that carnality is enmity towards God. A carnal man can't receive because, for without faith, which is the ability to fall into his arms, to trust yourself that he has my back. It is impossible to please God. God will not be pleased until you can trust him with your life. So the reason why Canality is dangerous is because the carnal mind is not conscious of the person of God, not conscious of his person. Rather, he's more conscious of his environment, more conscious of his surrounding, more conscious of the things that can be seen, felt, and touched. So when it comes to the reality of the spirit Anything you tell a man who has this carnal mind is flying over his head. Because how can I trust? He's smart, but you know, spirituality is not smartness, it's faith. The just shall live by faith, and faith is very stupid. Faith doesn't make sense. You have to explain why an Abraham should not sleep with Hagar, seeing he go childless. Carnal mind tells you, help yourself fast, because so you no go carry last. The carnal mind is conscious of deadlines, deadlines, deadlines. Both biological, financial, and all that. Whatever is in the realm of the physical is conscious of it. But the spiritual man is conscious of God and knows that God can shrink time, he can expand the principles of time. The reason why this guy has life and peace is because he knows whom he's believed. This guy doesn't have peace. Everything threatens him because of the realm that he's more aware of. If care is not taken— sit down— you may see yourself browsing the internet and just checking different things that makes people sick. You may see yourself just browsing the internet, checking different things that make people sick, just browsing about cancer, cancer, browsing about diabetes, browsing about— and you are not doing so for information, you are doing so because that's your consciousness. In the same way, a spiritual man is searching the word of life and he's eating it. Look at what the Bible says in John chapter number 6. John chapter number 6, let's start reading from verse 61. John chapter number 6. If you're there, say amen. Okay, let me, let me just jump a bit to verse 63. John 6, verse 63. Let's read together. 1, 2, 3, go. It is the spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life. Say it again. The words that I speak unto you They are spirit. Now go to Hebrews chapter number 11. Let's start from verse 1 quickly. Hebrews 11:1-3, quickly, quickly, quickly. Hebrews 11:1-3. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen are not made from the things which do appear. So we understand through faith that the word has creative ability. But we also understand through faith the word doesn't create life, the word is life. You know what that means? It means I'm more alive to the degree that I find the word. Now, you may not understand the concept of being more alive. Let me explain. All right, so because we've been dealing more recently with cases around drug use and drug abuse, and some people say that when I take that thing, it just makes me more alive. How many of you have found yourself in moments where you were studying God's word or you were in church under a message message. Then it was like the things that were not clear started becoming clear. You started having clarity. Talk to me now.

So that's life. It's ventilating your mind. There's clarity. In the same way, if you sit in the seat of discomfort, you start dying. You know why? Because you start becoming aware of things that are not godly. The word that I speak unto you, they are spirits, they are spiritual. And then those words, they are also alive. Then we understand that through faith the worlds were framed by the word of God. God did not hide the how. What did he tell Abraham and Sarah? Change their names. Confess with your mouth. If you have faith as small as the grain of mustard seed, you tell this mountain, be thou removed and cast to the sea, and the mountain will be removed and cast to the sea. And I've told you that what you should focus on is not the size of the seed, but the fact that it is a seed.

Mean that if you have a faith that can grow, you will move any situation. Meaning that you don't See, listen, you don't need to have perfect faith when you start. Keep growing. It's going to be tough because you are actually setting in motion the principles that you are going to live by. You are setting your own climate in motion. I've taught you that words are energies. Words are energies. Now, when Job lost everything everything. He said, what I feared has finally come. Meaning that even while you were seeing Job, that things were fine, at some point it got to a point where he was looking at everything and he was afraid of losing everything. If you will be very honest with yourself, your losses will always be around what you've been afraid of losing.

Death is a realm, okay? Life is also another realm. Look at the way Isaiah puts it. Isaiah chapter number 55, which is a scripture we read on Monday. Are you with me?

That's a tush way to die. Isaiah 55. Now you come stand there. Isaiah 55:9: As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my what? Thoughts than your thoughts. Put that scripture side by side with Psalm chapter number 2. If you can put it side by side, say, why do the heathen rage, the kings of the earth gather themselves together, and their rulers take counsel against the Lord and against the anointed, saying, come, let us break their bands and cast their cords asunder? But he that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh. This guy here is saying, I'm in trouble. This guy here is laughing. He's sorry, he's laughing. As the heaven is higher than the earth, so is my ways higher than your ways. If somebody dies, people gather around the person, they are wailing, they are mourning, they are calling the person's name. The body is there, but yet the fellow is far away. The distance between the dead and the living is not in kilometers. It is in realms. The distance between a spiritual man and a carnal man is not kilometers, it is realms. So what that means is they are not operating in the same frequency. Let me give you one more explanation. As we're speaking here now, there are signals passing through this place for you to watch boxing match, for you to watch football. Today is what? Today is Wednesday.

I have no idea. You have no idea? Spiritual man. So if you want to watch, all you have to do to see it is to bring what can tap into a frequency that already exists. Your decoders is not what brings the frequency, it taps into an existing frequency. And that's why we have bandwidth. There are regions that the frequency doesn't exist. What I'm simply saying is There are things available in the spirit. A carnal man does not have what it takes to tap into them. You can be seated, and because you are alive in your spirit, you tap into a frequency of what God is said to do. In the midst of chaos, you break out in joy because of a frequency that you have the ability to tap into. Are you following what I'm saying here? It's the frequency. A carnal man can't. Sometimes you are seated in church and something just passed through your mind. You're like, my God, you just see a new possibility, you just see something Have you, have you, have you been in that point before?

And in the same light, if you are not full of the Spirit, you, you might not even know things that are passing. And I give another illustration now. Okay, you can wake up. Let's give him a big hand. Bring your phones, both of you. Talking about the carnal man and the spiritual man, you know, the carnal man can be in the spirit but once in a while.

The one who is not online will get it, but the kairos is gone. So the Bible says walk in the Spirit, that is, be online with God. There are things that have been communicated part-time. Yes, turn to the right, turn to the left. You will hear a voice behind you saying, this is the way, walk in it. If you are not in the spirit, you will be behind because there are things God released that you never caught, and you feel God is bad towards you, but he actually released them, but you were not online. When we pray, look at the way the Amplified puts Jude verse 20. Sometimes you might just feel you understand what the Bible is saying there. Look at the way the Amplified Translation put Jude verse 20. But you, beloved, build up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. But look at the way the Amplified— can they give me the Amplified, um, rendition of Jude verse 20? But, all right, but you, beloved, build up yourselves founded on your most holy faith. Make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher, praying in the Holy Spirit. I don't know where you grew up, but use the kind of antenna that somebody have to hang on the pole and somebody will be rolling the pole and turn and turn and say it don't show, say show. When you want to put such antennas, you need to put them high so they can tap into an existing frequency. When you rise higher you can tap into things. At the level that is low, you see the problem. When you rise higher, you see what God has sorted. That's why people that are in the spirit and those who are in the flesh, they are not seeing the same thing. They can't make sense to each other. See, you are the one struggling to make sense to people who are not in your frequency. You wonder why they don't understand you. And please sit down for a moment. And that's why it is very, very— it's a dangerous thing in marriage if one person is growing that person is not growing, while you are sensitive to a kairos time that is coming because this one is not growing. That is the time the fellow responds wrongly to something, and then both of you can miss the season. Are you learning something?

I'm trying to show you some things here. Now go back, because we are still in Romans chapter number 8, verse 5 and 6. So go back to that scripture. Now there are aspects of these teachings that I have to build into, because once we understand those aspects, not only will we walk in the reality of that life, we can give it. We are not made after the order of the first Adam, which is a living soul. You are made after the order of the second Adam, which is a life-giving spirit. It means that not only do you have life, you can impart it. You can give that life to a dead business. You can give that life to a dead organization. You can give that life to a dead mind. You can give— listen, I've taught in schools, and while I was in, I had a learning disorder in my early days, so I couldn't learn on time. I couldn't read, I couldn't do many things on time, but finally I caught up. So, um, And the subject I hated the most became my best subject. Everyone I ever taught maths in secondary school became the best in their schools because we have what it takes to revive a dead mind. That if you're a class teacher, you can teach by the anointing to make the most complex things simple. Are you following what I'm saying here?

Do you know you can sit somewhere and sense in your spirit that something is wrong with a person and just have body contact with the person and say, I release life? And you actually have released life. You can release virtue. The reason why Jesus said said someone touched me. When the woman with issue of blood touched him, he said, because virtue left me. Was because he was conscious of virtue. Many of you don't know that virtue can also leave you through gossip. Virtue can leave you through offense. Virtue can leave you through anger. Oh yes, when you get into those things, you lose virtue. But virtue is supposed to live through impartation. So let me tell you a story. When I started reading about the anointing, read books like Good Morning Holy Spirit, I started becoming conscious of imparting. I started desiring things like getting into a space and the glory of God fills the space. So, well, I'm not authoritatively saying this is what someone should go and do, but I started the— I said I said desiring some experiences like meeting my friends and shaking hands with them or hugging them and the power of God is imparted. So when people meet me and they shake hands or hug me and nothing happens, I actually go back home crying. I said, no, I'm not filled, I'm not filled. I want these things to be overflowing, you see. And it got to a point that one time I had prayed from morning till evening, and so I was looking for who see me. Now I'm talking about the things I did, you might find them funny. I was looking for who see me. So finally one of my friends was coming, I I say correct. So he just, ah, just hugged me and he fell backwards. I said, ah, what's wrong with you? The doctor said it was a very invasive kind of cancer that will kill him fast, and he was eating the word back to back, back to back, and he began to make progress and recovering. Now look at what she did. She— and I think her testimony is online— she packed those tapes, cuz I heard the video, watched the video, packed the tapes, was feasting on the word night and day. Now when you have Ebola, one of the symptoms is diarrhea and also vomiting. Um, people start stooling and they start vomiting. And well, what kills you when you have those two things combined is loss of fluid. So she used her medical instincts to get oral water and she was taking to rehydrate herself. She also used that medical instinct to get something else. I wanted to mention, but I will not mention it. So it's a kind of vegetable people take it, Yoruba take it, and then she was drinking it to boost her immune system. But she was taking the word because the spirit of a man should bear his infirmity, and the word was actually strengthening that spirit. Are you seeing that? The balance of doing the things you do in the physical and also in the spirit. And before you know it, she passed the incubation period of that particular virus, and she was able to build autoimmunity against the virus. She fully recovered. Sickness pumps people to the point that they begin to call for death. By themselves. And how do they call for that doubt? Oh, is this not going to lead to death like this? Is this not going to be the end of my life? Why are they doubting? Because that is what they are conscious of. When a man is drunk, he vomits what he drinks. One time, one girl was forming tush and they were trying to serve her eba. She said, no, no, no, I really don't take that. What do you call it again?

If you are carnally minded, you will not have peace. Ah, you will not have peace. Why? Because you would have made decisions that will take sleep from your eyes. Meaning that you can see something is in front of you, and me, that I'm perceiving something else, I'm more up to date than you with seeing it. We actually fell into trouble, or we fall into trouble, because you only saw somebody, you didn't perceive the person. And listen, one of the ways for people to kill your perception about them is for them to sway you with words. You will not be able to see with the eyes of your spirit. You want to always be in the position where you can perceive by what you can say what is true. But not truth. What you're saying is true, is a fact, but where it is coming from makes it a lie, because this truth will achieve death. Condemnation works like that. It calls your attention to what you have done wrong. That you have done it wrong is true, but what comes as a product of that sight is death. And they start running away from God. Strong meat belongs to them. The same way you have physical senses, you have spiritual senses, perception. Look at what Paul said in Ephesians chapter number 1, quickly. Ephesians 1. For your heavenly Father knoweth that you— he knows that you have need of these things. Listen, God did not create you to start figuring out how to solve your problem. If he thought out Christ before Adam sinned, do you not think he thought out your spouse before they had break? Rest. Take no thought. For tomorrow. It is not hard work that makes you older than your age. It is anxiety. You have too many questions and you think it's because you are smart. It's because you are not Real spiritual living is rest. At famine and destruction thou shalt laugh. It's not stupidity, it's a life of rest. Operate from rest. I may not know tomorrow, but I know the one who has sorted it.
