Says that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Albeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect— and I showed you that the word perfect, there's the word mature— yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that comes to nothing. That's the word not there. We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto our glory. Now that said, look at this. 1 Corinthians 2:7 in Message Translation. 1 Corinthians chapter number 2, verse 7. Let's look at it together in Message translation. Look at it. God's wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the interior of his purposes. You don't find it lying around on the surface. It is not the latest message, but more like the oldest— what God determined as the way to bring is best in us long before we ever arrived on the scene. Let's take our time, this is teaching. Let's look at it again. Please give us that scripture again. All right, God's wisdom— sorry, um, see, we have a color Paletto. Just stay with it and don't— I'm sorry, because maybe those who are also watching might learn things. I have to speak up. You see, one of the things people who are in the world understand is consistency with brand. Christians will fluctuate in the name of spirituality, and we don't have shape or pattern. So you know wisdom as Sophia, but I'm introducing to you wisdom as a way for God that God ordained to bring out his best in us long before we ever arrived here. And the Bible says this same wisdom that brings out the best in us that God has ordained says the way is foolishness to men. So it means if you are going to be wise in the sight of men, your best will never come out. Are you here? Most times, the reason why we can't function in God's wisdom as a way to bring out the best in us is because the world has our attention. And you never can tell. In your mind, you have the conscious realm But you also have a very tricky part, the subconscious. And a lot of things can be stored there that you are not conscious of but will be the go-to in the days of pressure. I want us to get that. God ordained that the way he will bring out the best best in us. He decided that way long before we came here. So it means that we have biblical pattern. If we read the Bible, who are the men that God was able to bring out the best in them? What did they do? They found something. It's principle of wisdom. So God— this wisdom is God's method. Idea, his way. Now please go back with me again to— I wish we could put it side by side— Romans chapter number 8. If you're there, say amen. Romans chapter number 8, we start the reading from, um, let's start the reading from verse 13, but where we're going to is verse 14. Romans 8, we read from verse 13 to 14. All right. If ye live after the flesh, you shall die. But if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. Yes. Now, if you put this side by side, you need to understand this. The place where the wisdom of this world is programmed is living in the flesh. The place where the wisdom of God is programmed is living in the spirit. Spirit, meaning that each time you walk in the flesh, you manifest worldly wisdom. I'm trying to make it simple, okay? If two people are arguing, the one who is not praying and not submissive to the dictate of the Spirit can't be right. Can't be right, because sometimes what you want is not what God wants, and you need to be in touch with him to know what he wants. Each time we begin to go down, our spiritual batteries start going down and we begin to operate in the flesh, we step outside of the realm of God's method to birth glory and ordain the life we should live for us. Stay with me now. Look at it again, verse 13 that we just read. Quickly, are they going to give us Romans 8? We have mood swing. All right, verse 13. Now, if you live after the flesh, you shall die. But if you through the Spirit mortify the deeds of the body, you shall what? Live. Now look at verse 14. Now, for as many as are led by who? The Spirit of God. Are who? The sons of God. As many as are led Let's read this scripture 3 times. 1, 2, 3, go! I want to show you something. Turn your Bibles to the book of Hebrews, chapter number 2. Let's start reading from verse 6. Please stay with me, all right? Do what? Stay with me. Teaching requires patience to build lines upon lines, precept upon what? Precept. Is that okay now? So stay with me, all right? But one certain— oh, sorry, one in a certain place testified, saying, what is man that thou art mindful of him, or the son of man that thou visitest him? Yes, and thou madest him a little lower than the angels, thou crownest him with what? Glory. Underline that word glory in your Bible. You crown him with glory and honor, and right, did set over him— sorry, set him over the works of thy hands. Verse 8, thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all things in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put on them. Even though God has put all things under him, but we have not seen it happen yet. Look at verse 9. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and what? Honor, that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Yes. For it became him for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory. That's the lot of sons— glory. That's what Jesus came for, to bring many sons to glory. And the Bible says the wisdom, which is the methodia that God God used to bring us into this dimension of glory is not on the surface, it's not in your news media, it's not around breaking news. Are you still here? Now let's continue, let's finish that scripture quickly. Now, now look at this. No, look back to the next verse 10. All right, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through what? Suffering. Now you must understand that the suffering being referred to here contextually is the suffering on the cross. But God's idea, God's intention is to introduce sons to what? Glory. And how does he achieve that? Through the leading of the Holy Spirit. You are never going to step into God's best for your life until you have learned to know how the Holy Spirit leads and submit to his leading. He is the one who leads you into prepared places. He is our parakletos, the one who guides us on the way, the one who guides us as we go, the one who leads us, the one who leads us into the will of the Father, the one who leads us into his plan part-time. Now you must understand that, that the duty of the Holy Spirit is beyond just speaking in tongues. The duty of the Holy Spirit is beyond just the ability to raise the dead and heal the sick. The duty of the Holy Spirit is beyond just the ability to preach a good message. He is to lead you into glory. So much so that Jesus told disciples, said, hey, don't go out yet to preach. By the way, because you must understand that statement in context, the disciples didn't receive the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost. What they received on the day of Pentecost was power. The Bible did not say that you will receive the Holy Ghost, um, you will receive power when the Holy Ghost comes upon He said after. After. When you receive the Holy Ghost— oh boy, are you here? Yes, sir. Power is generated, it is not imparted. Power is generated. The fervent and effectual prayer The prayer of the righteous makes tremendous power available. It is dynamic in its working. If you want to see power, tarry. That's how power is gotten. But we're getting somewhere. Read your Bible. Several times Jesus was preaching and he breathed upon them and said, receive ye the Holy Ghost. He gave them the Holy Ghost. Jesus could not have ministered you to receive the Holy Ghost and they will not receive Holy Ghost. Someone says that, I see, I've been baptized in the Holy Ghost but I don't speak in tongues. Go and tarry in prayer. You ought to speak in tongues. When you are baptized in the Holy Ghost, you didn't speak in tongues. It's not power issue, it's faith issue, all right? It's your mind, all right? In the day of Pentecost, when they spoke in other tongues for the first time, they spoke as the Spirit gave them utterance. Utterance is not supplied to the tongue, it's supplied to the mind. That's the place there. So it is coming there. And so what is actually happening is that it's coming from your— your spirit welling up as rivers of living water, but your mind distorts it and say things like it's nonsense. That's why you are not speaking. That rubbish that is coming in the spirit, that springing well, let it out. That's power. So when you lay hands on people to be baptized in the Holy Ghost and they are not speaking in other tongues, there's nothing absolutely wrong with you. They need to be taught that what you're about to say doesn't make human sense. So say it. There's nobody that can't say rubbish. However, this one is not rubbish, but your mind will tell you it is rubbish because you can't make sense of it. When you speak in other tongues, your mind is unfruitful, but your spirit that prays unto God— that's how be it you speak mysteries unto God. Your mind can't make sense. You get what I'm saying now? Can't. But there's a place you get to— because there's also another part of the gift that is also the gift of interpretation of tongues, whereby you are able to speak and you are getting the inspiration of what you are saying. Not like many, many means who is there, who is there. No, in interpreting tongues, one thing can mean different things depending on what God is saying, and that's why you can't teach it. If one thing means another thing, and you can teach it. I want to give examples now, but that's where the people go and cut online. Are you feel I'm saying? Yes, sir. Somebody can be speaking and say, give me one now. Maori, Maori, that's, that's the popular one. If you went to campus, you know Maori, Maori, Maori. It could be something else. And sometimes somebody can be praying and he saying just some few words, and yet there's a lot of meaning to it. The— right, the Spirit of God makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered. Are you feeling what I'm saying here? All right, because one time somebody came, I should pray for him to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. I prayed for him and busted out in other tongues. Ah, I learned that other tongues are plenty. So I said, my God, that so fast. My God, that's, that's, that's so, that's so good. God said ask him which tongue are you speaking. He says his mother tongue. I did not know that I was speaking Calabar. Do you know, do you know any Calabar person? It's very close to tongues. I didn't know it was Calabar I was saying. I looked at him, I looked at looking at him. Why now? Of all times, you decide to speak Yoruba? But since he had speaking other tongues, he was speaking in other tongues, right? Listen, on the day of Pentecost, what they spoke was actually some other Igbo languages. It means somebody in Japan can speak in other tongues and what he's saying is Yoruba. Somebody in Italy can speak in other tongues and what he's saying is Hausa. This happened in the Bible. The people who came— because that was a cosmopolitan environment— people who came to buy said they heard them glorifying and magnifying God in their own tongue. I would have loved to say more things about that, but you must understand that from the day you receive the Holy Ghost, there is no other gift of the Spirit that will now come from above. No, every gift was perfected in the Holy Ghost. It is when you come to season that you want anyone to break out, that it breaks out. It is not like you receive the Holy Ghost, then you will now receive interpretation of tongues. It is a package in the Holy Ghost, not in another Holy Ghost.

Understand that? Yes. Walking of miracles is in the Holy Ghost inside of you. Healing in the Holy Ghost inside of you. Tongues, the Holy Ghost inside of you. What about special faith? In the Holy Ghost inside of you. Interpretation of tongues, in the Holy Ghost inside of you. But you can decide that all I want from this Holy Ghost is tongues. So when we— so why do we lay hands on people? People to receive, maybe to pray for them that certain gifts will manifest. Well, it is a contact that it will break out from within them. It's already inside. So right now you have the potential to raise the dead. Right now you have the potential to heal all kinds of sicknesses. Right now you have the potential to interpret tongues. Right now you have the potential to walk miracles, but you can choose to only speak in tongues with it. Do you understand that now? Now, that's not where I'm going. What the Holy Ghost does is to lead us and to help us to get into that realm, which is the realm of glory that God has ordained for us to walk in before the world began. And there are men who operated in this prepared realm of glory before our time, and one of such man is Abraham. You see, let me show you a script— Turn your Bibles to the book of Genesis. Genesis chapter number 12. Let's start reading from verse 1. If you're there, say amen. Now the Lord had said unto Abraham, get thee out of thy country and from thy kindred and from thy father's house. House, unto a land that I will shew thee. Yes. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing. That's so powerful. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee. And in thee shall all the families of the earth be what? Both blessed. All right, so Abraham departed as the Lord spoke with him. Look at it. And then so, but the mistake he made was I took Lot with him, because many times it's difficult to journey into the unfamiliar without the familiar. And journeying from the familiar to the unfamiliar is faith. So he took Lot with him. Well, what God— look at what God said: get you out of your father's house. Okay, now since this is a special class, so I can, I can share some strong things with you. It means that if you're going to function in the pattern of the blessing, location is not a strategy, it is an instruction. If you're going to function in the pattern of the blessing, location Location is not a strategy, it is an instruction. Listen, under the realm of walking in this glory dimension called the blessing, you don't change location because a place is greener. The man of the blessing doesn't consider anywhere greener pasture. Oh boy, he's blessed. Wherever the sole of his feet steps, he possesses. Now, um, Apostle, what are you trying to talk about? Um, are you saying that, um, the way Nigeria is— are you not tired of the way Nigeria Nigeria is. Are we supposed to die here? And don't, don't, don't, don't part it. Maybe don't forget. Don't be angry yet. And because you see, the other time, even you said we used to see that I used to travel, but now you come back. And then now you come and tell us all these pastors we don't even know. I travel, yes. Do I japa? I'm always back. You see, that's, that's what you have to understand. To function in this realm of divine leading, it is not enough to know what God wants you to do. It is important you know where he wants you to do it. What you need to understand— hold on— is that by the virtue of what you are carrying, when you step into the desert, water springs forth from the desert. When you step to the wilderness and everywhere is blocked and there's no way, he makes way in the wilderness. No, you didn't understand that, right? I said by the virtue of what you are carrying It brings forth water from the desert. Listen, settle your mind. No environment is more blessed than the blessing you carry. You see, it's difficult to teach people without getting them into meditation. Because it means that what we are teaching is not— you will not be able to break it down and digest it. listen, while you are saying this, the devil will be trying to remind you of what you can't afford yet. We are not talking about affordability, we are talking about your nature. Say it again. I am blessed. You know, have you heard the proverb? Have you heard adages, um, people say things like, no matter the economy of the jungle, a lion will not eat vegetable. Huh? Well, I've seen lions eat vegetable, and I'll tell you why. No, I've seen where lions will be eating green leaves, and usually scientists said they do that whenever sometimes they're having indigestion, so they do that to help their bowel movement because of his state. A lion may eat vegetable, but it's still a lion. Yes, sir. I want us to— because this is how I do with the word, and there's no other way. Okay, say it again. I'm blessed. I'm blessed. I'm a blessing to nations. I'm a blessing to nations. Now, that may not mean that you have necessarily travel to nations, but I'll show you how to travel. Or say it again: I'm blessed. The blessing of the Lord is upon my life. I am not stranded in life. I am not stranded in destiny. What opens doors is on me. What makes pastures green is on me. No land is more blessed than I am blessed. Now look at this. Let me show you a scripture so you can have an elaborate meaning. Psalm chapter number 1, verse 1. Psalm 1, verse 1. Oh, glory to God! Let's read it together. 1, 2, 3, go! Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Now look at this scripture. Look at this scripture in Amplified Translation. It will shock you. Look at it. Blessed blessed, happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable. These are packages summed up in the blessing. You know, sometimes we say some things in the guise of spirituality that is not about happiness, it's about joy of the spirit. What are you talking about? God wants you to be happy. If something— if you receive a good news news. Will you not be happy? So how is God against that? Blessed, happy, fortunate. So it means that because I'm blessed, there is no room for being unfortunate. What I want you to understand, which is what we are going to see in the life of Abraham. Please get this: no environment is blessed more than the blessing you carry. I have pushed you. What about the concept of greener pasture? It is where you step in with the consciousness of the blessing that is green, that you can be in the midst of Nigeria. Are you listening to what I'm saying? There are people who are enjoying the greener pasture of Nigeria and are not stealing. Say it again. This is my reality. This is my reality. I am blessed. I am blessed. Say it again. I am blessed. Sit down for a moment. Oh, glory to God. Now I want to show you some things. Are you still here? Now, what we function by as children of God is the blessing. What we function with is the blessing. Now hold on a minute. The blessing is not in things, even though it can produce things. Now I think I said a statement. I can't remember if it was PPC or those at home that I told that if you're going to walk in God's best, you must learn to separate a resource from the source. You don't— oh boy. Now, a resource is a product of a source. Your asset can be this one thing because a billion more can come. What you got is the source. Yes, sir. My biggest asset is my relationship with God. If you take me away from anywhere, or you take anything from me, believing that that's what makes me me, it will shock you that in no time what makes me me will produce it again. Yes, sir. Hold on a minute. So it means my rating is not what I wear. No, my rating is not what I wear. My rating is not the amount I have in the bank.

Are you still here?

Yes, sir. We function by the blessing, and this blessing doesn't have bounds. The blessing is not limited by location. It's an invisible reality, but produce— that produces visible manifestations. So I shared a story with you, and I need to illustrate with some stories now, about a man that went somewhere and to plant church. And he began to make so much noise and was boasting that we are going to take over this city. You know, we read in 1 Corinthians 2:5 that your faith should should not stand in the wisdom of men because he can. You see, let me tell you something. Somebody who is a natural introvert can become loud. Now you think it's because— if I just tell you, I just sent a message, I said, come and take— I want to sow a seed to your life, a seed of 50 million. If the person has roommates, maybe I say, come on Friday, I have 50 50 million naira for you. If the person has roommates and you don't tell them that Apostle Femi Lazarus want to take 50 million, the fellow will become a preacher immediately. You know, my faith can receive things. The issue is an average believer is not conscious of the blessing. Why? Because he has other information. He has information about dollar rate. He has information about what is not working. He has information about how difficult Abuja is. He has information about how difficult the United Kingdom is. I would rather fail in the will of God than to succeed in my own will. That's the life of the blessed man. You know, sometimes it's very easy to meet a man somewhere in between his journey and believe he's always been like that. For 7 good years of my life, there was stagnation. Stagnation in every sense of it. One time I had to cry to God that whenever I'm teaching, everybody will say, mm, deep. It's not I said, Jesus, you are the one who rejected mata. I was breaking food. If you don't send me mata now, I will die. Send me mata. Thank you for Marys who are listening. One of my sisters just called me and said, sir, God lay in my heart that I should be sending you certain amount of money every month, and then Send it, send it now. Man of God is dying.
