But this is the first time— I stand to be corrected— that we're having a month stretch teaching, first time. So it means God is preparing us for something we have not seen before, and I'm excited. So let's get into it. Ephesians 1:3. Ephesians 1:3. And I want us to— we're going to chew that scripture till we lay hold of it. Ephesians 1, let's start reading from verse 1. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. Now, most times many Christians have argued that, um, Jesus is not God, that how can you say God the Father and God the Son? If God is a spirit, how can he give birth? You must understand that the name, the Son, only ever came to be when he was coming to the earth. In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. There are three that bears witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Spirit. He had to become the Son first, the only begotten, then later the first begotten. Because now we are all begotten of the Father. Because I'm saying that so you can know who you are. Jesus became the Son of God so he can now become your elder brother, because you are also sons. He's the first begotten from the dead. Nobody has ever gone to the grave and returned back to have swallowed death in victory, never to die again. Jesus did that at resurrection. We are doing that in him, but we'll perfect it at rapture. Say it again: I'm blessed.

So blessed be God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with how many spiritual blessings? All spiritual blessings. That is, as long as it is a blessing and it is spiritual, we have been given. He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. The wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peaceable, then easily entreated. Wisdom is a blessing, and when there is wisdom, there is productivity. Proverbs 24 from verse 2. Through wisdom, um, a house is built, or by understanding it is established. Through knowledge, the chambers are filled with pleasant riches. Where there is wisdom, there is building. 1 Corinthians 3 from verse 10, Paul says, I, as a wise master builder, have laid the foundation, another build thereupon. Let everyone be careful how they build. One of the beauty of the spirit of wisdom is productivity. Who can give me another example of spiritual blessings? Huh? Honor. Honor is something you can't just confer on yourself. It is conferred on you and demonstrated by men. Honor is a spiritual blessing. Favor. Favor is goodwill. When— what was his name now— Cain killed Abel, and God told him the consequence of what he had done. He said, now it shall be that anyone that sees me will want to harm me. When there is disfavor, when people see the person who is not carrying favor They want to hurt the person. But when there is favor, everyone that sees you wants to do you good. You are blessed with favor. Now, we read this morning during PPC, Deuteronomy chapter number 33, verse 23, spoke about Naphtali. And of Naphtali, he said, 'O Naphtali, satisfied with favor and full with the blessing of the Lord.' possessed thou the what? West and the south. That's the word of the Lord. Satisfied with favor. Are you from— see, now, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him. There are things that will be beyond your reach, but favor puts you there. Favor is a spiritual blessing. Power of any form is a spiritual blessing. Dunamis. The wonder-working power that we can trample upon snakes and scorpions and they shall by no means hurt us. You are powerful. I said you are powerful. You're powerful. Now I know you've seen the costumes, awesome costumes of some witches and wizards and I don't know how they dress in your village. I don't know how they dress in mine either because they don't come out when I'm there. But maybe from what we saw in the book of Nollywood, we sometimes feel they wear some black and some red. You want to look at someone by your side. All right, and they wear all sort of stuff. Maybe they paint their faces, but in all those costumes, the one whose name when it is mentioned all knees bow is in you. And you are now it in Christ, in God. Do you understand what I'm saying?

Yes, sir.

You are practically invincible. Do you know the number of times that the devil would have sent some agents to church? And maybe they carry some stuff and say, if you touch this Pastor there, there, there, then he's going to paralyze. God made his angel spirit and his ministers flame of fire. And that minister doesn't refer to apostles, pastors, prophets. Refers to everyone who is in Christ. You are a flame of fire.

Yes, sir.

You're a burning fire. It's a spiritual blessing that you are spiritual. You are divinely protected. Protection is a spiritual blessing. As the mountains around about Jerusalem, so is the Lord encamped around those who do his will. You are not normal. You are a flaming minister. The jealousy of God guards you. You are God's investment. Do you think anyone who is wise wants to watch his investment go down the drain? You are God's— so you are not dying. It is only the one who knows God that has hope of tomorrow. The world doesn't know hope. It is spiritual blessing. Yes, sir. Praise God. Hallelujah. Say it again, I'm blessed.

Say it again, I'm blessed. I am blessed. Now you must understand that even prosperity too is a spiritual blessing. Um, Deuteronomy chapter number 8:18. Deuteronomy chapter number 8:18. So you understand that it is what comes from heaven that is upon you that conditions your environment, that conditions your life. Do you understand that? It conditions. And that's why we saw in Genesis 27 verse 27, when Isaac was blessing Jacob in Genesis 27. For the sake of time, I read verse 28. Look at what he said: Therefore the Lord give you of the dew from heaven. So it is that thing that is coming on you from heaven that conditions the reality of your environment and your domain. So when we talk about the blessing, we talk about the reality of God's presence with a man first. It is not things, it is not things first. It is the person of God, his presence with you. It is a call to partnership. A blessed man is in partnership with God. He said, the Lord your God give you of the dew from above. And the fatness of the earth. The Lord your God gives you the dew from heaven that will condition the fatness of the earth. Look at Isaiah chapter number 55 from verse 10. Isaiah 55:10. As the rain and the snow— look at it, look at it— and the snow. All right. So as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth. So when that release comes from heaven It changes, it brings relief. Are you following what I'm saying here? Hey, look up! It brings what? Relief. It watereth the earth and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater. So when the rain comes, you have bread, then you have seed for the next harvest season. What that means is it is impossible to do a project and that is all your life represents that has gone into it. You will always have left. If every time you need to do anything, you have to empty and squeeze out yourself There is something you have not entered into yet. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you. There's just a body of knowledge you have not entered into yet. Because when it comes to God, it brings you from the level of not enough to level of too much. Are you following what I'm saying here?

Listen.

Sometimes, um, when the Israelites were in the book of Numbers, when they were in the wilderness and they began to complain and they said, we miss the taste of meat. So when we're in Egypt, we're eating meat, but they forgot that they were eating the meat as slaves. He said, there's nothing you are giving us in this wilderness. Please give me that scripture. Except this thing called manna. Is that this thing? By the way, manna means what is this? So it was them who called it that. Okay, what's this? All right, so I said this thing. So we didn't meet. The people went about and gathered it and ground it in mills and beat it in the mortar and baked it in pans and make cake of it, and the taste of it was like taste of fresh oil.

And when the dew fell upon the camp at night— can you take me further to where they were crying? They began to cry, say we miss all these things. And Moses heard the people weep throughout their families. Every man— men woke up in the morning I don't know, maybe English would have said, what's that? Am I still safe? Moses said they weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent. And the anger of God was kindled greatly. Moses also was displeased.

And Moses said to the Lord, wherefore hast thou afflicted your servant? Because he knew the next thing they would do was that they will lynch him. Look at it, look at it. And wherefore have I not found favor in thy sight? For thou layest the burden of this— that's about 2-point-something million people. Look at it. Have I conceived all these people? Am I their father? Have I begotten them that thou should say I should carry— say unto me, carry them in thy bosom? So as a nursing father beareth a sucking child, unto them will I also be their father. When should I have flesh to give to all these people? For they weep unto me, saying, give us flesh that we may eat. I am not able to bear all these people alone because it is too heavy for me.

If thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favor in thy sight. Let me not see my wretchedness. He's saying that, God, prove to me I found favor by killing me now. I don't want to see— you know what he's saying. They will strip him, and they were very funny guys. Are you still there? And the Lord said unto Moses, gather me 70 men of the elders of Israel whom thou knowest to be elders of the people and officers over them, and bring them unto the tabernacle of congregation, that they may stand there with me. All right, but if you jump, go further, God said go and tell them by this time tomorrow I will feed you with meat till it will come out of your nostrils. Let me tell you something.

Rain.

There is no— there is nothing anybody can construct to stop the rain from falling. That's the same way you can't stop the issues from God on a blessed man. The same God cannot be limited. You can't limit his blessing in anybody's life. And the following day, you know, Moses must have been thinking, where will he bring all these things from? But a wind went from the Lord and brought quails.

Oh my God, look at it.

Verse 31, brought quails from the sea and let them fall by the camp. See, once you understand this, once you understand this, let this be very clear, you cannot have God and be stranded. There is no situation that is too complex for God to show up. Oh yes, do you understand what I'm saying? There is no situation that this one, this one, it, it, it's a serious one, there's no way God can show up. God When the prophet of God prophesied, by this time tomorrow a measure of wheat will be sold for a shekel, the Bible said the man on whose arm the king leans said, even if God will open the windows of heaven, might these things be? Who determined the measurement? Who stretched the lines upon the equators? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstones? Mean that the earth has pillars. By the time God was done asking him questions, he repented. If God is this meticulous about things, how much more you? That's why the reality of walking in the blessing is rest. You know what the Bible says? The Bible says that even the hair on your head, they are numbered. If I tell you mathematically, go and count the chairs in church, and if I say go and number the chairs in church, they are not the same thing. Count means give me the sum total. Number means I want to see the tag, that if I come and I pick this chair. To have numbered it is for this chair to be number 425. The hair on your head are not counted. He tagged it. You are that important. He said Look at the lilies. Not even Solomon in all his glory is adorned like them. Which prayers did they have to beg and beg God for them to be like that? He went with his brothers to pray. You must take prayer seriously. You are not that smart. There are things you can conceive, there are things God gives you as inspiration. Inspiration from the place of prayer. And that's why I said that the blessing is first and foremost the dew from above that conditions the fatness of the earth.
