God's power to deliver you means nothing if your mind doesn't change. The Israelites left Egypt but refused to transform their thinking, so they never entered the Promised Land. Without a renewed mind, even God's prophecy for your life cannot come to pass.

There was just one record in the Bible of what God was not able to do. And as long as that problem exists, it might still be the same thing. You know what he was not able to do? I'll tell you. Everyone that he took from Egypt, he was not able to take them to the promised land because their solution was not miracle. Miracle was deliverance from Egypt, but to make it to the promised land requires transformation. They couldn't be transformed, they all had to die. As powerful as God is, there is nothing he can do to help a man who has refused transformation. So that you will not be saying that, ah, in my life they are praying for me. If you are not transformed by the renewing of your mind, even the powerful God who has brought you out of darkness will not be able to take you into destiny. And that's one of the things we are crying about, not just for the church in Kenya, not just for the church in Nairobi or Nigeria, not just for the church in Ethiopia, Tanzania, but the church in Africa. Because in history, again, that's the kind of church that has gone through what they went through in Egypt. Do you know the implication of God saying to Moses, let me start something new with you? Look at the— which tribe is Moses from? A Levite. Am I correct? A Levite. God was going to break the covenant with Ephraim, Manasseh, Benjamin, even Judah. He was moving the Christ from Judah to Levi. He was going to do it with 11 tribes. Why? Their mind couldn't get renewed. It doesn't matter how powerful the prophecy is, if you can't see it, you won't get there. Look at it in the wilderness. They kept, they kept asking. They were asking for, for meat. They said, we miss garlic, We miss cucumber. Hey, I'm sorry, but what is there to miss about garlic? Maybe because I don't take garlic, but what's there to miss about garlic? Who misses cucumber? What's there? That thing is tasteless. But you see, when the spirit of rebellion sets in, Even the things that you should not miss, you will miss them. And what the devil does is to magnify small things and make them look like the big deal. You can leave God, God of garlic and cucumber.
