Can you be Alpha and be Baby Spoon? No, bro. Yes.
I wish. I know you wish. I would say yes. What's more dangerous? A man with nothing to lose or a man who's finally found something to live? And the most dangerous man is a man that has lost it all and now he has something to live for.
True Alpha has a secret place, a quiet place where he goes to spend time with his heavenly father, where he gives himself full permission to weep and be broken in the presence of God so that he can be rebuilt and equipped to show up in the world and be able to handle everything that the world is throwing at him. I love the Lord and I love people that need the Lord.
I'm just tired of being fake. And if I gotta be fake and I can't be real, the Bible says, confess your sin to one another. I love you. I honor you, man. You are like your fruit of the ministry, man.
Man. Welcome back, holy and horny man. Oh, it feels good to be back with you, bro.
Hey, one thing we normally do is our affirmations, and we missed it today. You got an affirmation for us, bro?
I guess it just means that we get to do an affirmation with. With the viewers on here. Give me one second. Let me snag one.
Absolutely. And it is awesome to be back. I just got back from Texas. I've been out with a special group of individuals that not too many people I could say have a. A tribe like I have. So I spent all the weekend there, and I've. I think I brought back some jewels and nuggets for our audience here.
Oh, yes. Yes, we did, man. Yes, we did. Today's topic is going to be great. It's all going to be about being an alpha male. And we're going to hop into that. But before we jump into that, let's do the affirmations that we usually do. And to the listeners, we usually do this before we. We hit record, but tonight we just got. We just got too excited, man. I don't know what you want me to say. We got too excited about filming because I haven't. Bro, I haven't recorded with you in what, like two weeks now.
I know. So there's so much to unpack.
Yeah, there's gonna be a lot to unpack. So this is typically what we do before we even film. We go through some affirmations. So let's just go on and look. Let's just go in on this live, man. Okay, so this is what I got for us today. The Spirit of infinite supply resides in me and operates through through me. The success I pursue pursues me. Abundance overtakes me. And that is Amos 9, 13, which says, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when the plowman shall overtake the reaper. And the treater of grapes, Treader of grapes, him who sows the seed. The mountains shall drip sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it. Let's say that one more time. Repeat after me, Guy Jones. The spirit of infinite supply resides in me.
The spirit of infinite supply resides in me.
And operates through me.
And operates through me every day.
The success I pursue pursues me.
The success I pursue pursues me.
Abundance overtakes me.
Abundance and the abundant mindset overtakes me.
Amen. Amen. And Amen. And if you guys want to read that scripture again, you can look up Amos, chapter 9, verse 13 to back this up. These mind mastery cards are phenomenal. My mentor and really good friend Steve Weatherford got me on these. One of his best friends.
We need to drop a link. We need to drop a link for those.
Yeah, I could probably drop description on this episode, actually. I'll do that. Hey, something really cool probably happened. You guys probably heard our episode called on the Phone with Frank and Guy. And so just so you guys know, we might be dropping some little bonus episodes like that in between these episodes. And so really the whole reason for that was because, bro, like, I just believe that our phone calls could be podcast episodes. And the one that I uploaded is definitely a podcast episode, because first thing that happened as soon as you answer the phone is what we always talk about. There was a crazy God story that happened. And then we talked about attraction. It was just a normal phone call.
And. And the thing about that is Frank gave me no heads up that that's what he was doing. He just, off the cuff, recorded me. And I love Frank to death. And I'm like, man, you know, I don't care. And through halfway through it, I'm like, let's go, man. I wish all of our conversations were recorded.
Yeah, literally. I mean, there might be quite a bit. I told Guy, I said, hey, brother, look, I need you to know that I'm gonna record some of our calls after, After I told him that I had recorded that one. But he's not gonna know when I'm recording, so everything will be off the cuff and completely, completely organic. But, bro, let's talk about what we want to talk about today, which is being an alpha male, man.
Such a good topic and such a A misconception about what an alpha male is. And, and so that could be a toppy. A. A difficult topic for some people. You may even get triggered by the thought of. Of what's an alpha male. You may hear alpha male and get triggered, but I think there's different definitions of alpha male. And so that. I think that's what we want to uncover tonight.
Oh, yeah, 100. 100. Because alpha male. Here's. Here's what I'm realizing is that whenever we're talking about anything that has to do between men and women, I mean, we all know it's just. It's gonna come with some problems. Even if you don't mean any problems. Just because everyone's so trigger happy nowadays, it's like, man, dude, people get offended with anything. Like, you could say, hey, you know, the Bible says that a woman's supposed to submit to a man. And guess what you got to do? You've got to really over explain what submission means. Right? Because if not, do you though, oh, my gosh, now you're a misogynist. It's just wild. Like the, the environment, the temperature that society is in right now, and even in the church where it's like, bro, you can't talk about this stuff. So there might be some people that get offended on this episode. I doubt it, because I think we're going to do a very good job of, like, communicating it. And if you know our hearts, you know that our hearts are for healthy relationships and godly relationships and purity and real leadership. Right? But I just think it was cool because there was a huge discussion about that this weekend at our Mastermind, and I think that's what kind of triggered this.
Right, right, right. And we're for the family. Right? And I spent a lot of my adulthood in. In prison and seen a lot of young men and older men that just never grew up because they didn't have a man in the household or their man, their father, their father figure wasn't present. So an alpha male is present.
I would agree with that, bro. I would agree with that. If. If you're not present, beta, beta. I would agree an alpha male is present. Somebody says, like, anybody can be a. A dad, but very few people can be a father. Like, in order to be a dad, all you got to do is, you know, plant the seed of your loins, you know, which doesn't take a whole lot. But in order to be a father, it takes being present, you know, And I think we could start there. Like, an alpha male is actually Present. Which is why you see people that have successful relationships are men who actually continue to date their wives and are intentional about it because they're present. You, you can't, you're not going to be able to hold a relationship with a business partner, with your kids or with a woman if the whole time that you're hanging out with them, you're just on your phone the entire time or your mind is just somewhere else. It just doesn't work that way.
Right. And, and being present also doesn't mean putting your partner, significant other, or the girl you're dating on a pedestal.
Absolutely. Please hit on that.
That's not, that's not alpha either.
No hit on that for a second, bro, because I got some stuff.
So there should be only one idol in your life, and that should be the king of Kings. So when you start putting a relationship as an idol, you're out of balance. And that's, you know, beta like behavior, and it's not attractive. So ultimately being an Alpha is attractive. But when I say alpha, I think a lot of times we misconceive an alpha as a meathead or a tough guy that's all teeth. But I think alpha is so much more than that. And I think a guy that's so tough and so physically focused is beta. If he has no balance in his life, if he's not showing up in the areas of his life, it's not. I think I know. So I'm speaking on authority because I've been the guy that hasn't been very balanced and I've been the guy that's been one dimensional. So I, I can speak not from theory but from, you know, understanding.
Yeah. Oh, a hundred percent, man. There's those dudes that are all beefed up and juiced up, you know, and clearly you can tell that they're on gear. And bro, emotionally, they're a child. It's like they, they can't control themselves. Right. And bro, we. I've had beta moments. The, the moments where I've been a beta is whenever I have slipped up and instead of choosing my commitments and my values of being holy and godly, I slip up to my desires and cave into my flesh. That's beta. That's, that's, that's, that's what it is.
So again, that's, that's planning that seed like we were talking about earlier. A man that doesn't understand the value of his seed and is just letting that thing fly like a grass sprinkler is showing up as a Beta, because he's not exhibiting self control. And self control is very alpha. It doesn't mean you don't have desire. It doesn't mean when you're with the girl you're dating or your wife, it doesn't mean that you don't look at.
Her.
With those desires. It just means that you know when to take control of that. You. You have timing and you channel that desire. And that's, that's exactly what we're talking about as far as being and showing up as an Alpha.
Oh, yeah. 100, man. 100. You just know when to make the moves that need to be made. And it doesn't mean that you kill your desire. It just means that you know how to literally direct it. Because you. And just like, you know when to direct aggression if aggression needs to be used. Just like you know when to direct anger, if anger needs to be used in a righteous way way. Just like you know how to step into grace and extend grace when really you know that you have every right and you could completely demolish the other individual, you're still extending grace. It's a completely different thing, right? It's like, I love it because I, I take it back to Jiu Jitsu, right? Like, to me, the most Alpha dude in the. On the Jiu Jitsu mat is the highest belt, is a black belt. Think about a black belt. When a black belt gets you in a position where he could literally completely end you, if you say, sir, please stop by tapping out, he knows I could just finish you. But instead, I'm gonna let you go. I'm gonna let you go. But it's someone who's completely capable of destroying you, but then gives grace and mercy, which is why God is such an Alpha. Man, like, the number one Alpha ever known to anybody is God. Because he's got full authority and full power to do whatever in the world he wants. And yet he still extends grace and mercy and allows us to make decisions based off of our own free will. Bro, that's Alpha. Instead of being a controlling man in a relationship, it's allowing and giving freedom. And it's like what you said earlier. Being an Alpha isn't putting somebody up on a pedestal. It's keeping God at that pedestal, man. 100% you, you gotta keep. You gotta keep. Like, I see, I see Jesus. Like, I feel like Jesus teaches us just how to be a man. We just don't really study him as far as, like, being a man. But, bro, when his best friend tried getting in the way of his Mission and his purpose, he said, hey, get behind me, Satan. When his mom tried getting in between his mission and his purpose, he was like, woman, I'm here to do my father's work. What you doing? Right? Like, he's showing us how to be an alpha male simply by saying, hey, you're supposed to be on mission. You're supposed to be on purpose. Anything else is a distraction, and if it gets in your way, you need to move that. Which is why if you're a young Christian man right now, right, if you're a man of God and you know you got purpose, you know you got a call on your life. If you are dating and that woman is trying to pull you away from your mission, it would be bad, beta of you to allow her to do that because you got her on a pedestal. What you need to do is you actually need to be like, hey, sweetheart, I'm sorry. There's one person that's on my pedestal. There's one idol that I bow to, and his name is Jesus, and he is the Lord of Lord and the King of Kings, and I am submitted to walk out. My purpose and my mission that he's placed on me. I would love for you to come along for the ride, but if you can't get behind this vision, that's okay. That's okay. There's another woman that will. That's alpha.
And it's not just women that will try to get in the way of your purpose and vision. It's circumstances. It's men who, like, want what you have or are greedy or trying to take advantage of you. That's a constant for me as a business owner is people trying to play up under me and utilize, you know, things that I value to play up under me. So it's like being able to stay focused when storms and chaos are around you, staying, like I say, staying on your square, which means just with your feet planted on solid ground. You know, your foundation is in an audience of one playing for an audience of one. And what happens when you're playing for an audience of one? You can be very direct with other people and say, hey, brother, I'm not on what you're talking about, bro. Like, this is the direction I'm going.
And.
And you can get off of this train or you can come alongside me. I'm here to complete other people, not to compete with other men. But you're not gonna pull me off of my purpose and managing expectations up front so people know what your core focus is. It's like, if you talk to a girl and your. Your desire is to be pure until marriage. You do yourself a lot of a favor, a lot of favor by telling that girl, hey, listen, you're fine. You're. I like you. Like, I. I'm. I could look at you, you know, I have no problem looking at you. I have no problem desiring you. If I could, I'd take you down through there. But I aspire for more. And I know instant gratification is not going to do me near the justice that waiting for you will do me. So if you're not the one, I'm not going to waste my time with you. And. And she just knows what to expect. And probably she sees that as, like a challenge, so she's, like, going to try a little bit harder. But if you're on your. If you're on your foundation, if you're on your square, that's not even going to pull you because, you know, hey, my desire, man, I've hooked up with a lot of women. What's. One more is not going to do me anything good. But what's. What would it look like to wait for and sacrifice for my future family? What would that look like? That's a different picture.
That's a completely different picture, brother. That's a good. That's a really good point, man. That's choosing. That's. That's what we talk about from the beginning, right? What Steve has taught us and just drilled into us, which is pros make decisions based off their commitments. Amateurs make decisions based off of their feelings. And so really, an amateur is a beta, and a pro is an alpha. And alpha makes decisions based off of. Look, this is what I want. This is what I'm believing for. This is what I'm believing that God promised me. And I'm going to get that in the most righteous way possible by living a righteous standard life, period, period. But also being real enough to say, hey, look, babe, like, golly, you are gorgeous. And I'm not saying I ain't going to struggle with this, but what I am saying is we're. We're going to play this thing right off the bat, right? And it's because I respect you. But more than that is because I respect my future. It's because I respect my values. It's because I respect my commitments. And so because of that, this is the direction that I want to take it in, right? And I love it, brother, because once. Once we can communicate that up front, the standard is set. Now, it's like you set the temperature of the experience. Not them and not anybody else. You already said this is, this is as deep as it's gonna go. This is as far as it's gonna go. Now the, the hard part is just walking that out, man.
And let's talk about the standard and setting a standard. When you set the standard, you are a man of your word. And just being a man of your word and doing what you say you're gonna do, let your yes be your yes, let your no be your no. But you do what you say you're going to do. That's alpha like behavior. I judge a man, judge a man by what he tells me. If he. And it's the little things. It's like, you tell me you're going to be at work at 9 o', clock, be at work at 9 o', clock, Be early, you know, and I understand things come up, but I want to be able to trust your word. So. And I see that a lot. Like, I don't know if that's a new thing or if I just notice it much more is, man. People can't keep their word to other people because they can't keep their word to their self.
Yeah, bro, it's been easy to do that now. Oh, yeah, that's beta for sure, bro. That, that's just how it, that's, that's how culture is now. And if I'm being honest, just analyzing myself, it's because it was so easy to put on a face on Instagram or Facebook and act like you're something that you're not without having to go out and get the result. You know what I'm saying? And so that's what people are kind of like, accustomed to right now. Like, it's just very rarely that you find individuals, you know, that just genuinely are some, like, a man of their word. It's just rare now. It's just rare.
Not only will that get you far in dating, but that'll get you far in business. That'll get you far in your workplace. I can't tell you how many people love doing business with Pinnacle just because we are who we say we are. We show up when we say we're going to show up. When, when we tell somebody we're going to do something, not only we do, we do it, we go beyond their expectations. And, and that's across the board in my company. So we rack up five star reviews, we jump the Google Analytics because we're one company that actually has men that are alphas in the best terminology. Of the word.
Yeah, exactly, bro. It helps you across the board, man, on everything. Just, you know what it really is. It's just being. Being honest, man. And honesty takes sacrifice. Honesty isn't easy. Honesty is gonna piss people off, which is why right now the truth is, like, so looked down on. Like, you're honest nowadays and people try and cancel you. Which actually I see like a new wave happening where people are like, you know what? F that, bro? You're not canceling me for the truth. And there's people that are starting to stand up for the truth now, right? Because honesty is becoming more popular now because the only thing the Bible's so clear, it says, where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. In other words, where there is truth. Where there is truth. Where there is truth, there is freedom. There's got to be truth. And there. If there's no truth in my words, bro, my words don't carry power, which means that I don't carry power. There needs to be truth to, like, what I'm speaking. Like, there's got to be truth to the word that I give you. If I say, hey, I'm going to do something, I better be willing to, like, uphold that or go above and beyond to try and make it happen. Right? Because even just talking about this right now, that reminds me of my 100, 100 mile race where I said, hey, I'm going to run 100 miles. That was my word. I'm going to run 100 miles. But my body only made it 63. But I knew that I gave it everything that I had. And then this year, I'm gonna get 110. So it's. I'm. I'm gonna make up for it type of deal.
Yes, you are.
Yes, I am, bro. Hey, and so are you, man.
Not only am I going to get a hundred miles this year, we. We're going over and beyond. We're going for the 110. So everybody else will be celebrating at the celebration line. And we're not going to celebrate. We're going to extend it out 10 miles just to set the precedence for year 25. So December, run your race. Frisco, Texas. Be there.
Yeah, it's going to be awesome. I think it's invite only right now, actually. But who knows? You might get a golden ticket. You just never know. But I love that, brother. I want to chat about the definition of alpha male that Travis Terrebonne showed us when we were on the couch and then that Steve came to a conclusion of because I think That's a beautiful definition, bro.
So shoot.
Yeah, Travis Terrebonne showed us this definition, and they. It said that Alpha male is an individual, or an Alpha is an individual that is in development and constantly growing. In development and constantly growing. I believe that was literally like almost word for word what it was. And then Steve said that he just believes that a true Alpha is somebody doing their best to live God's best. If I'm living God's best today, then I am an Alpha version of me. But the moment. The moment that I go against my values, baby, the moment that I start spilling my seed, right? The moment that I start acting crazy, the moment that I start letting my emotions be my master instead of my servants. Beta.
Right? No, nothing's wrong with giving somebody the smoke. So today I had a guy who, and I won't say any names, but I had a workplace conflict, and essentially what it looked like was a guy that. That's been working with me for two.
Weeks.
Put in a group chat, some passive aggressive wording, basically shooting at me, shooting at, you know, without saying directly what his issue is and dealing with me specifically, one on one. So the only thing I responded to that was exactly what our podcast is today. I just put beta, and then I called him and I'm like, brother, get to the office. I want to. Want to have a chat with you. And when he sat down in there, I was not in my emotions at all. Matter of fact, I was working on paperwork. I had some worship music going. My spirit was right. But I did look him in his eyes and tell him exactly how I felt about how he showed up, about how I don't trust him because he can't speak directly to somebody. He's got to speak passively or we've already run into him speaking behind somebody's back.
And.
In no kind of way was I emotional. In no kind of way was I even angry. Because I am Alpha, and I know whichever way a situation goes, I'm prepared for it to go that way. But I know I'm on my purpose. And my business goal is to develop men and to leaders to lead themselves well and then to lead their families well. And if an employee gets out in the way of that, then proverbially I chop his head off and move on to the next one. And the group I have right now is not the group I started with. They're a lot more souped up. But it's because I have Rolodex turnover. Until I find the ones that are going to stick matter of fact, I have a bell in my office. So when you quit or you don't fulfill your commitments, when in order to get that last paycheck, you're going to ring that bell. If you're not putting in your two weeks notice, you're not going about it like a man should. If you're going about it like a beta, bro.
That's one of my favorite things that I had ever heard. Whenever I first met you and you said that, I was like, bro, this dude is the real deal, man. He's not messing around whatsoever. Because that's literally making somebody actually do something tangible that represents what they did.
Mentally, like, mentally, I'm just holding people accountable. That's the best thing you can do for yourself. That's the best thing you could do for another man. Hold them to their word, hold them to their commitments, hold them accountable. I pay money to get held accountable. I pay money to go to masterminds and get picked apart. I'm paying people to hold them accountable in my workplace. So I'm doing them a favor. And I pour in, I pour time and effort that they could be on the job building them up. And some of them are there temporarily, some of them are there for a long period of time. But the mission isn't just about my business. The mission is about Kingdom business. And that is Alpha.
Absolutely, that's Alpha, bro. Let me ask you this, man. Can you be Alpha and be little Spoon? Baby spoon?
No.
Bro. Yes.
I know you wish I would say yes.
Yes, you can, bro. It takes a true Alpha to say, hey, baby, I want you to hold me tonight.
No, I don't know about holding up, but I do like, like to, like, have my back scratch or my head rubbed or just, like, just chill. And so if that's considered a little spoon, then I'll be the little spoon.
Yeah, bro. Or just cuddle up against her little chest, you know, just nuzzle in there where it's nice and comfortable.
You don't make it sound. You don't make it sound attractive. But the way you carry yourself, you can. You can. We know how you. We know how you show up.
I'm just saying, man, it takes a real man to be like, you know what? I like being baby spoon right now.
Like, so what you're saying is a real man has some balance.
Amen.
In all. In all areas.
Amen. You know, and one thing I wanted.
To say about just giving somebody the smoke and. Because that is important, but this is what I told this dude today because he just Started working for me and. And he said something like, man, I know you're. You're. You. You're like this. And it's just, you know, might be whatever. And I'm like, brother, this is who I am. I show up the same way every day. This is just how you're catching me at my 37th year on this planet. But. And I'm proud of how I'm showing up. I'm proud of who I am. But this is not where I'm going to be in 10 years. This is not where I'm going to be. As I get closer, I'm going to resemble more of what Jesus Christ looks like, which is very alpha. And I'm going to have a little more maturity and in my faith. But where I am today is where I'm meant to be. And I'm not holding any punches with my words. I'mma hold myself accountable. I'm going hold other people accountable, and I'm going to light a trail that men can get behind. And we're going to turn this. We're going to turn my community around. We're going to turn my state around. And I know y' all don't believe this.
Amen.
But give us three years. Going to turn this nation around to a nation of families that loves God, loves family, and loves this country.
And respect men.
And respect men. Complete men.
Amen. 100%, bro. 100%. Yeah, bro. I. I love, love, love that. Because it's the truth, man. At the end of the day, an Alpha can smoke it down, but an Alpha also knows when, when to and when not to. When it's more advantageous. You know, I also do believe. I kind of want you to share this story, man, if. If you're down the one. The one at the first launching pad that you came and you helped out at and where you told people no crybabies. Yeah.
So essentially, in these launch.
Let me set it up, though. Let me set it up, though. I'm gonna. I'm gonna build it for you. This is why I want you to tell that story. Because I believe with everything in me that a real Alpha is a man that is willing to look you dead in the face with a straight look. Right. And not be phased by anything that you're saying to them or anything that the world is throwing at them. But. But at the same time, I also believe that that man has a secret place. A true Alpha has a secret place, a quiet place where he goes to spend time with his heavenly Father, where he gives himself Full permission to weep and be broken in the presence of God so that he can be rebuilt and equipped to show up in the world and be able to handle everything that the world is throwing at him. So that's what I believe is a true alpha. And I feel like God Jones has a story to prove it.
And shout out to that pinnacle hat that you're wearing tonight, man. You are sexiest definition of a lighthouse, man. So keep, keep shining, man. You got to earn those hats right there. So they're not for sale. But go be a light. And when you wear those hats, be like Frank. Be a light, but 100% being alpha in the finest sense, in the best sense. And if you take anything that I say tonight, being Alpha means allowing yourself to totally get wrecked by the Holy Spirit. And when I say wrecked, allow yourself alone time with God. It's very simple. And pray God, shine a light on things that aren't pleasing to you. God, shine a light on areas where I'm prideful, where my ego is getting the best of me. Shine a light on areas that are unpure in your eyesight. And when you pray that what happens is that hard heart God will start to go to work on and soften it. And it's even better when you do it in the presence of other men. That is so alpha. So what Frank's talking about is we went through launching pads, we went through a launching pad. And we've been blessed to be some of the only guys that have been through a launching pad that have had the ability to coach a launching pad.
So give context. A launching pad is a one and a half day all men's intensive at our mentor's house where we make our body a living sacrifice. We lay down burdens that we've carried for all of our lives and we start to break generational curses and get freedom from those. And then we get filled up by the power of the Holy Spirit so that we can walk in in freedom. So when Guy references a launching pad and when we reference a launching pad moving forward, that's what we're talking about. Go ahead, bro.
And in layman terms, that just means we do a mile of lunges. They near a lot mile lunges. We ice bath in some of the coldest water, we do heavy prayer, we do heavy getting clear on our identity. We do like heavy work, being vulnerable in front of other men. And what that creates is a environment of freedom. And at this portion of the launching pad which we've had all this set up for, we were Doing prayer for declarations. So we talked about vulnerability, we've talked about our burdens, we've talked about, you know, father wounds and all this stuff, this junk. But at this specific time, a group of three or four guys are going to get together in agreement, and they're going to declare things over their life and with power. And my group was. They wanted to talk about their problems more, and I could tell. Or the guy's house. Our friend, our mentor, Steve, was not feeling that and nor was I feeling it. So before I could even catch myself, I kind of snap. And I was like, no, cry baby ass shit. Like, this group, we're not gonna, you know, But I. I was sharp and I kind of caught myself halfway through it because here we are in the presence of God, and I'm snapping and cussing a little bit like, hey, we're not gonna. Because I'm serious about declaring things over my life. I need things in my life. I. I need. I need to show up in areas I'm going to declare that, you know, so I know the power in that. So I snapped on these dudes, and luckily Steve was right there and he's like, what kind of. What he means, guys, and gave him, like, the rundown in a more politically sound way. So that being said, we got in there and declared things over our life, and I got an agreement with these dudes. But when I got up there, man, I got so rocked by the Holy Spirit and declaring things over my son's life. And anytime I talk about my son, it just like, brings me to my knees because I have such a love for my son. And I miss so much of his life in prison. I miss his whole entire life. I didn't get to teach him how to throw a baseball. I didn't get to take. Take him to his first day of school. And I just missed so much, and I know it hurt him so bad, and it's hard to make up for that time. You can't just make up for that time. And it's taken so much effort and energy, and sometimes I feel like I'm spinning tires. But I tell you, I have more breakthrough praying for my son and lifting him up. And so, man, I got rocked. And when I'm saying rot, man, I was weeping, like, on, you know, just pouring, and here I am snapping about that crybaby ass, and I'm. And I'm pulled up with tears and. And my group was just four people, and next thing I know, it's a group of seven or eight people. Praying for me, lifting me up in prayer. And I'll tell you, I'm sitting right here, right now because of prayers from other men. I'm sitting, you know, right. I'm moving tomorrow. I'm moving in my dream house after being out for two and a half years of prison.
Come on.
By the grace of God, because of prayers from other men. So I'd never want to undervalue or underestimate. There is so much power and prayer. And if you are showing up as a beta and you aren't showing up as the best version of who God created you to be, that doesn't mean you're not that person. It just means you're not showing up as that person. And it's simple as getting an agreement with another brother and saying. Or just by yourself alone with God and saying, God, come in, Holy Spirit. Come in. Shine a light on areas where I'm not showing up as a king, priest, prophet, and a warrior in my family. Show me. Shine a light on these areas, Lord, do work. Lord, I give you all my life. I can't hide anything from. From you. So shine a light in my finances. Shine a light in my relationships. Shine a light in the darkest corners so I can get set free. Amen. Because, bro, you're not missing anything living a life for God, but you are missing a lot living a life for yourself.
That's so true, bro. If you don't feel like you are living as God's best right now, man, sometimes what you need to do is you need to get around a bunch of lions to realize that you are a lion. That's just what needs to happen. When you get around a bunch of lions, you start realizing real quick, oh, snap, I'm not just a lamb. I also got a lion in me. But you can't learn how to roar if you never heard a roar before. Can't learn how to hunt if you're not around hunters. And so that's why it's so important. The Bible's so clear. It says that iron sharpens iron. And so if you. If you're living in an area right now where you're like, man, dude, I am not satisfied with that right now. I feel like I'm total beta right now. The devil is kicking my ass right now. That's beta. My circumstances are kicking my tail right now. That's beta. And Alpha says, no, no, no, no, no. I draw the line because my Bible says that I am standing on top of the enemy and he is below me. My Bible says that he's given me dominion. I take territory, not the devil. I'm not battling against him. My Bible says that Jesus already paid the price and he already won, and I get to walk in that freedom. So my Bible says that's Alpha. That's. That's really being an Alpha. It's having that belief. Because when you really believe that, bro, this is what I'm realizing, man. Like, I'm in a season right now where I really believe some of these things. I really believe what the Bible says. And when I really believe it, man, I feel like I show up different. I feel like I take different actions. And I feel like when life doesn't turn out the way that I thought that it needed to, instead of it crippling me, it kind of gets me excited because it means that it's a setup for a miracle. Go ahead, devil, put me in a tomb. Put me in a tomb. That means I'm right for a miracle. Go ahead, steal those things from me so that I can get them back and sevenfold, because that's the promises of God. So being an Alpha is really standing on God's promises, man, and learning to see yourself the way that God sees you. You know, it's like, I think it was Lion King. I might be wrong, but I think it was Lion King, bro, where Simba was, like, staring at the water and then someone came in and rippled it, and he went from like a little baby cub to a full blown lion, and then he finally saw his, like, true reflection. Like, bro, that's what needs to happen to you. When you stare at living water, man. When you stare at living water, when you stare at your word, you'll learn really quickly who you are, man. And that. That's nothing that any of these coaching videos on YouTube can teach you, man. Like, this comes from the word man. And when you know that you got a word from God, guess what? You listen to it and you walk by it. Regardless of what anybody says, man, if I feel like God spoke something to me and Guy Jones is like, hey, man, no. Like, I don't think that you should. Whatever, bro. I'm sorry. I feel like God spoke that to me. I got to go and do it. I got to go and do it. And a true brother would be like, all right, bro. Like, I don't think you should. But if you really feel like God told you to go do it, man, go for it. You can't do any. You can't do nothing but respect a man like that. At the end of the day, So I believe that being a true Alpha means true submission to God. Because when we really submit to God, we get. We. We. We really do reap the rewards, man. You get next level strength, next level wisdom at the end of the day, and you just position yourself in places where you're gonna get more rewarded because you're basing decisions off of what I value and my commitments, not off of how I feel right now. Because there's some days where you're just gonna feel like garbage.
Find alphas to. To run with. If you want to become better, find Alpha. But. But here's the key. Don't show up as somebody you're not. Don't show up like you're an Alpha. If you're really displaying beta, beta behavior. Just be real, man. Because it doesn't matter who you are. If you want to work, you want to grow, and you just say, hey, man, I'm here, but I desire to be here. And I see you got that fruit that I want there. Will you help me get there? A real son of God that loves the Lord will help you get there as long as you shoot straight, man. I got guys, I got a guy in particular that I like snap on sometimes at work because he makes dumb decisions, but every time I snap him, he's like, guy, you're right, man. I screwed up. And there's nothing I can say to that. I'm like, bro, you accepted responsibility for that. And anytime anybody's ever gotten vulnerable about me with their issues and stuff, I've respected that, and I'll go the extra mile for that person. But if you come to me like you got it all figured out and because you want to run with me and I see, bro, he doesn't have it all figured out. He's. He's deceptive, man. He's not telling the truth there, bro. Nothing makes, nothing leaves a greater distaste in my mouth than somebody that's not being true to that to who they are. And that's the problem with churches, man. And that's the problem why a lot of people are church hurt is because people are simply showing up on Sunday differently than they're showing up during the week. Just on the. The premise that I'm at church, you know, I'm around these church people. Well, guess what? The guy you're trying to show up like you're holier than. Than holy is probably in the same boat you are. He's just being real about his, and he would just respect you to be real, but that's why he just shakes his head and keeps it moving. He wants no nothing to do with you outside of church. And that's why you got nobody holding you accountable.
And.
And that's why your five closest friends are doing about the same thing you're doing, is because you're hanging out with some buzzards when you're meant to be flying with some eagles, bro.
A hundred percent, dog. One hundred percent. Hey, you are who you surround yourself with, man, at the end of the day. And when you're talking about vulnerability, what I imagine, it's like they. They always say this. Like, you can tell the physiology of a. Of an Alpha because they don't cross their arms when they're in front of someone because that means nervous. That means you're trying to, like, protect yourself. But a true Alpha literally has, like, their hands down chest and their. And then they have their head up because they expose their jugular. In other words, they're saying, hey, I'm not afraid of anything right now. Like, I'm fully. I'm fully here right now. And so when you're vulnerable, what you're really doing is. That's what you're doing. You're exposing yourself. You're fully exposing yourself. Just being like, what are you gonna do, kill me? That's the strongest move you could ever do, man. That's the most respectful thing you could ever do. What are you gonna do, man? My throat's right here. You can do whatever you want to do, but this is who I am, bro. That's why I respect that, man. That's why I respect vulnerability. And what's happened is. And I get it, dude. I've worked with countless amounts of men. Men have been battered into thinking that they can't do that because when they've opened themselves up like that, a woman hasn't crippled them by going at their jugular. But she has made fun of him. But she has said, oh, well, that's weak. Well, she has said, well, this. And so now the dude's like, well, I don't want to open up. Well, you shouldn't have opened up like that. You should have opened up to a man. You should have 100 gone and opened up to a man. Because the Bible is very clear. Iron sharpens iron. It doesn't say, like, the woman in the Bible is referenced as the weaker vessel because they're more gentle, right? It doesn't say iron sharpens iron. A weaker vessel or a weaker vessel sharpens iron. You need brothers, man. Like, you need to get around some Boys. And if you can't talk about your stuff with some boys, that's why we're here, man. That's why we got this community. That's why we're building it. Because there's a bunch of dudes out there, like, spitting some stuff on this, some podcast where all they're talking about is their W's, man. All they're doing is they're comparing their dick sizes. When it comes down to, like, money, when it comes down to pulling game, when it comes down to this is like, they're just competing with each other, and you're just like, oh, no, man, I got your back. Which. With which what they're really doing is they're just crippling men to go out there and. And play the game. Scared, play the game on defense all the time. That's not how. That's not how I want anybody else to play the game. That's not what guy wants either. We want men to be able to come to us and be like, hey, bro, look, this is who I am. And fully expose yourself. Because when you can take off your armor and we can begin to see who you really are, then I can love who you really are. And when I love who you really are, you'll finally feel what real love feels like, so you won't settle for that fake crap.
And I posed this question to Facebook the other day because I thought it was kind of profound. I got a lot of awesome answers, but the question was like, what's more dangerous, A man with nothing to lose or a man who's finally found something to live for? And just thinking on that, I was thinking, man, the most dangerous man is a man that has lost it all, and now he has something to live for because he's been at his lowest low. And he knows that God showed up for him then. And he's like, Frankie, he believes everything in the Bible is true. And he believes that you can't take him if God says you can't take him if he's strong enough, good courage. He believes that there's nothing you can possibly do to beat him. It doesn't matter the gang you're in. It doesn't matter if you're in a ton of gangs. It doesn't matter if he's outnumbered. It says one man will. Will bring 1,000 to flight, and two men will bring 10,000 to flight because they're serving the king and they're of strong and of good courage, and they're biblically alpha.
Amen. Amen. That's what they are. They're biblically alpha. That's what we covered today, man. It's none of this bull crap videos that you see on YouTube on, like, being an alpha male and like, oh, well, you gotta this and you got it and you gotta. No, no, no. We're talking baby biblical alpha. Something that is more than just technique. It's an identity. It's who you become. It's who you step into. It's who God designed you to be as a man. And we see the beautiful example of that through Jesus, and we see it through Paul, man. Paul smoked down people when he needed to smoke them down. He spoke some heavy truth. When he speaks some heavy truth, he told people, hey, you need to sit down. When it was time to, hey, you need to sit down. You know what I'm saying? Not only that, but I think it was him who was preaching. And a dude got so bored that he, like, fell out the window. I think it was Paul. Could have been Peter. Not quite sure. Either way, both. Both of them are. Are alphas. And he just goes over, he just raises him from the dead. He's like, and now get back up there and finish listening to my sermon, dummy. Like, this is who God designed us to be. And so, man, I. I think that this was awesome, bro. I'm so glad that whenever I called you, you were like, I didn't even call you. You called me. You were like, bro, I think we got to talk about this. I think we got to talk about this because this is a freaking good topic, man. And I think we need to have some women of God on here and discuss what biblical alpha women look like and what true femininity looks like when it comes down to biblical standards, because clearly social and cultural standards are garbage, man, and they're just ruining everything.
And I'll tell you, when we do that, we're going to get out of the way and just let them drop truth, man. Just let them drop truth. And, and, man, you know, there's. There's something special about being around some of these women that we've had a chance to be around in our tribe that are married to some of these awesome dudes, bro, and just how vulnerable they are and they don't blink in the eye at telling you straight up truth. And yeah, man, it's just a different crowd. It's a different conversation. It's a different energy. But we're, we're. We hope we're bringing y' all and exposing y' all to something new that you may not hear, but that you can adopt, and that's going to change your life and then change the life of everybody else around you.
Amen 100. The conversations that we have in those areas, man, it's the kind of conversations where when somebody says, yeah, the wife's supposed to submit, you don't have to explain it because they're not triggered by it. That's healthy, man.
They're not sensitive.
Exactly, Exactly. Why? Because they got their identity, and that's attractive. Oh, boy. That's more than. That's sexy, dog. That's so sexy. Hey, hopefully you enjoyed this episode, man. We. Make it more interactive, bro. Like, I think it's gonna be sick.
Yeah, absolutely. And my last word is, don't be a soft behind beta. Take captivity. Take that captivity and show up as your best self. Show up how God created you to show up.
Amen. What a way to end it off. Hey, make sure you subscribe to the podcast. Go follow us on Instagram. Share this episode with some of your friends, and we'll catch you guys next week. I love the Lord and I love people that need the Lord.
I'm just tired of being fake. And if I gotta be fake and I can't be real, the Bible says, confess your sin to one another. I love you. I honor you, man. You are like your fruit of the ministry, man.
