Your best SOPs will often be your simplest ones and I actually recommend to my clients that you Generally write your SOPs in less than 15 minutes, often less than 10 minutes per draft number. 2. SOPs are long docs. If you want SOPs your team will actually use, let's structure them in a way that we actually want to read, be built for skimming, quick reference, and purposefully be succinct and short. Now my final favorite myth here is that my team ignores SOPs, so I just can't do them. Pollen baloney on this one. In most cases it's not the fault of the team at all, it's just the fact that the SOP is not solving a real problem. The team actually has.
