This is a YouTube video titled "4 strategies for writing company SOPs..." created in April 2024. The content features a single speaker discussing practical and personality-friendly methods for writing business procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for small businesses, including interviews, incremental writing, key metrics, and SOP writing boot camps.
Writing business procedures does not mean you need one of these that you spend hours and hours and hours filling out. Instead, you can write down how you do your work in a way that works for your personality type and the personalities on your team. To get policies written, you can use strategies like one on one interviews, writing sops little by little, having individual or team key metrics that motivate individuals to write their procedures down, or my personal favorite, having SOP writing boot camps or parties for your team, which is actually something we host here at ProcessDriven to get everybody on the same page without forcing you into creating one of these things that no one's going to reference in an easy way that works for your personality. For details on each of these strategies for writing standard operating procedures for your small business, check out the full video over on my channel.
