This is a YouTube video titled "Adding External Website Pages to HubSpot Campaigns [BETA]" created in November 2023. The content features George B. Thomas explaining a new beta feature in HubSpot that allows users to add external website pages from third-party CMS platforms to their HubSpot campaigns, detailing how to use the feature and its benefits for campaign performance tracking.
Are you a HubSpot user? But you have your website on a third party CMS like WordPress, Joomla Drupal, or any of the other possibilities. Have you ever longed for the ability to add these website pages to your HubSpot campaigns? Well, guess what? Now it's possible. Hey, you know what time it is? That's right. It's your boy George B. Thomas, back with another amazing HubSpot nugget of goodness. Today you need to know about a new beta available for you. What is it? Well, you can now add external website pages to your HubSpot campaigns. That's right. You heard me right. You can now add your first external non HubSpot asset type to a campaign. External website pages. Now wait. Let's hit the brakes for a second in this beta feature launch. They said our first external source. Sit and think about that for a second. Okay, back to the update. This new feature allows you to take your campaigns to the next level by adding both HubSpot and non HubSpot assets. How does it work? Well, first head over to your side menu, go to the product updates, then betas, then join the beta. Once the beta is in place, then you can start adding external pages to your campaigns. To add an external website page to your campaign, simply navigate to campaigns and then select an existing campaign or create a new campaign. On the campaign's detail page, click on Add Assets and navigate to external website pages. Click on Create external Website page and enter your website URL. Once done, click on Create. The external website page has now been added. Your HubSpot campaign. Boom. It's that simple. It's that easy. But you might be thinking, George, then what? Well, monitoring the performance of these pages, of course the key metrics to evaluate the performance of your external website page can be found on the Performance tab in each campaign. The Sessions metric considers respective sessions on your external website pages. The Influence Context metric is counting every contact that has viewed your website. This equals page views. The deals and revenue data will reflect respective page view interactions and you'll be able to also find the number of page views per external website page at the end of your performance tab. Now you might be wondering who gets it. And that, my friend, is a great question. The Campaigns tool is available for Marketing Hub Professional and Marketing Hub Enterprise customers. Now don't forget, by using this new feature, you acknowledge and agree to the HubSpot beta terms. That's it for me today. Make sure you go check out the new beta feature for external website pages in campaigns and along the way remember to be a happy, helpful, humble human, and I'll see you in another video real soon.
