This is a YouTube video titled "BoldStack App Demo | HubSpot CMS App Accelerator 2020" created on January 27, 2021. The content is a demonstration explaining how to use the BoldStack resources app integrated with HubSpot's HubDB tool to organize, edit, and display data dynamically on a website, focusing on improving the user experience for managing resources within HubSpot CMS.
HubSpot's database tool, HubDB is great. It gives you the ability to organize and store a lot of data in one place and dynamically display it on your website. But the editing experience can be a bit frustrating at times. Adding, editing and ordering your content should be easy, so we built the HubDB resource app. Let's take a look. Once you've connected BoldStack resources app to your HubSpot instance, you can then login @boldstackio and create your first resource project. To start, click the plus. You'll be guided through creating a table name and adding filters. Once you've named your table and added filters to it, you can then start adding resources. Follow the form on the left hand side to populate that resource with the appropriate information. Once you're ready, you can hit Add Resource Item. Once you've added your resources to your table, you can navigate over to HubDB and see that all of your content has been populated into your HubSpot account. Once you've created your resource table, you can easily edit it, select the table you want to update. You can then edit existing content, add new resources, and reorder in one location. It's that simple. All right, let's get those resources added to the site. We'll start by adding the dedicated BoldStack resources module to a page within HubSpot CMS. Then you can edit that module. You can see there's a lot of different styling options you can use to make sure that the experience is consistent with the rest of your website. In order to add that table we just created, we'll go to filterable DB settings and then select the table and then hit Apply Changes and you'll see right away there's all the content that you easily managed in the Resources app. Your filters are in place and you can easily go back to the app to add, edit, rearrange whatever you need to do. It's that simple. Keeping visitors engaged with helpful resources throughout their buying experience is a pillar in your inbound marketing toolkit. It's time to get all your resources in place with the HubDB resource app.
