This is a YouTube video titled "Building processes - How much time do you need" containing a monologue or presentation from December 22, 2023, discussing the time and effort required to build new processes, including scheduling, documentation, and project scope considerations. The speaker provides recommendations on time allocation for process implementation.
When you are building something net new, you're going to have to dedicate the time for it, whether it's scheduling meetings with your team, collecting documentation, creating documentation, especially if you're starting from scratch. If you're new to ClickUp or teamwork.com it's going to take a little bit of time and effort on your part, and depending on how many processes you're trying to build at once, it's going to vary. It's also going to vary based on the length. Are you building a whole website redesign? That's going to take a lot more time versus just building a blog post. Depending on the number of processes, depending on how long your processes are, whether they're for a project or an individual deliverable. I would still try to allocate at least two weeks, and that's if you have an understanding of what you need to collect. If you have no idea where to start, it could take longer than that, but definitely we make the recommendation during our implementations. Minimum two hours a week to devote to just getting processes built.
