When you are first signing up for SmartSuite, there's one thing you need to do before you dive in. And no, it has nothing to do with fancy formulas, linked records, or any of the fancy fields you hear us talk about on our videos about SmartSuite hidden features. In fact, it's quite simple. Step one it's heading over into this profile area and making sure you've got your account calibrated for your own personal style. My favorite spot to go, and the most important one is to adjust those general preferences to make sure you're finding things in SmartSuite the way you need to find them. Now, if you've already got that down and you're thinking, okay, I'm good, there's also a second thing I would make sure you keep in mind if you're a new SmartSuite user. Over here on the left hand side, you're going to see a tab called Community near the Resources section. Why does this matter? This Community area is where you can find out direct information from the team at SmartSuite about what's changing, what's happening, and what resources they have for helping you master the tool.
