This is a YouTube video titled "Empowerment & Breaking Free: Beyond Your Default Podcast" containing a monologue or single-speaker reflection recorded in February 2025. The speaker discusses personal philosophy about helping others without expectations and focusing on self-expectations, emphasizing a mindset of being a blessing without seeking returns.
I rarely get into a situation where I felt like I've overdone it and I have to tie one word. I think that has helped me unlock being a blessing bomber and not falling prey to feeling like I've been taken advantage of. And that is the word expectations. I fundamentally have zero expectations of any of the people that I'm helping. I'm not helping them because I'm trying to get something out of it. I'm helping them because I'm called to be a blessing. But I know in the back of my head, the universe, God, however you believe it will return to me in some shape, some form, some fashion. So that allows me to have zero expectations for those around me. However, I have some real strict expectations for myself.
