This is a YouTube video titled "Escape Workload Chaos: Avoiding Common Task Management Mistakes in ClickUp #clickup" containing a monologue or single-speaker explanation from October 2, 2023, discussing common errors in task management such as missing time estimates, due dates, and assignees, which affect workload views in project management tools.
Some common mistakes that I see people create are due. And the reason they don't get that workload view is they don't have time estimates on tasks. If you don't have time estimates on tasks, how are you going to populate any sort of workload view? The workload view is going to be tied to those time estimates. In addition, they don't have due dates on their tasks, which is that's what's going to make something fall through the cracks. If we don't know when it's due, then when are we supposed to do it or when is it actually due? So that's the main reason that something is not going to get done is because there's no due date on it and it's not going to actually show up in anyone's view because the views are oftentimes filtered by those due dates. And then when you don't have a due date and you don't have a time estimate or you don't have an assignee, you're not going to populate that workload view because the workload view is populated from time estimates from due dates and assignees. Those are the three elements on every task that you need.
