Christopher Hitchens explains how to boost team productivity by nailing the basics first. Define what each task is, who owns it, and when it's due before layering on standard operating procedures or approval workflows.
I would say if you have your work management software, focus on just building the habits. Build the good habits of like, we're going to write our tasks down. If you don't have the what, who and the when down. What who and when you're doing things, your tasks, your recurrences. I would start there. Bureaucracy is going to be more on the discipline side of things and having layers of approval. Probably want to avoid that. But SOPs would be the natural next thing. Working on that. How would be the fourth step. So, Daniel, if you're feeling. If your gut is telling you, oof, this is gonna be too much to go into SMP land, don't do it. You have. This is your team, you know them best. Every single team is different. Take a step back. What, who and when. Get those three pieces down working perfectly. Or get it working perfectly for two months. When it's been working perfectly for two months, come back to how. But until then, give yourself a break. That's okay. Trust your gut.
