This is a YouTube video titled "HELP! I’m overwhelmed with tasks…" containing a monologue or advice segment recorded in January 2025. The speaker discusses strategies for managing overwhelming workloads by focusing on prioritization and pitching value to a boss, sharing personal experiences and tactical advice for reallocating energy to important tasks.
I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. The best thing you can do is to do less. Convince your boss of the value of focusing your time. What you need to be able to say is, hey, I want to cut out this 50% of my job, but I want to focus that 50% on this thing that I think will help us overall big picture. And if you don't know what that big thing is, start with that. Hey, boss, what could I be doing? Like, If I had 10 more hours a week, 20 more hours a week, what could I be doing that could really help move us forward? Or do you know? If they don't know, that's okay. Figure it out on your own. But then that becomes your pitch. Actually, behind the scenes of Process Driven, recently, I found myself overwhelmed with too many tasks and recorded my kind of journey through. Oh, my God, I'm so overwhelmed, I've got no time for anything to fix the business. I think you might find that that video is helpful for some tactical strategies on how to actually dig out of the hole and reallocate energy, because that's ultimately what you need to pitch. Hey, I'm going to focus.
