This is a YouTube video titled "How Can I Group a ClickUp Board by Type of Content?" containing a single-speaker explanation from January 10, 2023, about how to organize tasks in ClickUp using custom fields and automation to group by content type. The content is instructional and focused on task management techniques within ClickUp.
Igor is trying to group a board view or a Kanban view in ClickUp by the type of content it is, and unfortunately there is not a great automated way to do this. So as suggested in this original comment, using a custom field where you set the value of what type of content it is could be a great way to go. Then you can group by that dropdown custom field. If that feels a little bit too manual, just remember you can set this in bulk or even set an automation on certain areas of your ClickUp account to say hey, anytime a task is added to this list, have the category change to support ticket or so on, that would be the way I would go about doing this. I know it's a little bit manual, but unfortunately there's no other real way for ClickUp to know what type of information it is without us specifying it using a custom field. So hope that helps.
