Kurt talks about where he finds ideas for new services. He covers the shift back to on-premises security, how AI is changing copywriting, and what agencies need to do differently as the market changes.
Because of ransomware and all these other things that are happening, a lot of people are pulling stuff back on prem. I know a few agencies that are offering that as a service to say, hey, you've got sensitive information, we will provide you. Locked down servers that are not on aws. I never learned about people were doing that till I was in a networking group with some other agency owners and I was like, oh, wow, okay, I haven't thought about that. I should look back at some of the services we used to provide and see if there's some value there. Because what's old is new again. Especially when it comes to AI. Many years ago, the clients would have lots of copywriters in their businesses. And then they all got rid of the copywriters and just started hiring outside agencies. And well, now we've got AI coming in, which they're like, great, now we've got this AI that's going to do all our copywriting. Oh, wait, it sounds like a two year old. This isn't going to work for us. What can agencies offer to help clients with their AI? Maybe they don't need a copywriter, but they need a copy editor. How would you like a real great set of eyes on that copy before it goes out?
