Positive humor creates stronger teams by building trust and inclusion in the workplace. The speaker shows how laughter reduces tension, helps people connect across differences, and makes teams more resilient when things get hard.
You might kind of go light footed with this and say humor. Oh, yeah, we crack jokes and share memes on zoom calls. Like, you know, that's not what I'm talking about with positive humor inside of an organization. Positive humor is constructive, it's inclusive, and it's supportive. The humor that I'm talking about lifts people up rather than tearing them down. And it's always used to bring people together, not push them apart. And as we talk about humor today, Chris, we're talking about one of the key pillars of the superhuman framework. And I want everybody, if this is their first episode they're watching, to realize that this is a framework that was designed to unlock human potential, team dynamics, and company cultures by integrating values like happiness, humanity, like we talked about at the beginning of this, and of course, today's topic, humor. Humor is about creating an environment where people feel at ease, where they can laugh at themselves, where we lighten up tense situations, where we find joy even in the everyday grind.
