How to countersign contracts in Dubsado | Add the business owner signature!

Tutorial on signing and countersigning contracts in Dubsado. The platform lets you add your business owner signature to contracts digitally, consolidating tools and streamlining your workflow in one place.
One of the best features about Dubsado is how many other tools it can get rid of for you by consolidating them all into one platform. One of those features which you'll see right here is the ability to send contracts for your customers or prospects or vendors to digitally sign. Now you'll see I have one under this job, I have a contract that says it's been signed. Now, I can view this contract or open it rather, and see exactly what the customer. You can see that Mary Smith has signed it. Mary Smith has also signed it. Now, obviously this isn't Mary Smith's signature when you type it in. It's a digital signature that comes through and she did it on this date. Now you'll see that it's also asking me to make sure that I sign it, which I think is a great way. It's a counter signing that's built into here. And when I sign it and I fill it out, I can click the green counter sign button to sign that invoice. Now, for a moment here, I'm not going to go through that. I'm going to say, go back to my dashboard and show you the second way that you can countersign documents from your customers. Right here on the main dashboard where there's this kind of activity box which tells you things that are waiting for you to take action on. One of the ones I'm seeing right here is one contract needs countersignature. So if I click on this, it'll show me an alternate view of what I just saw when I went into Mary's client or Mary's project. So imagine I didn't know that Mary had a signature waiting for me and I had maybe several jobs out, but I didn't know what I needed to do in each one. This kind of view gives you a good overview of where all of your forms are at and what you need to do still. So if I go here under this contract, it'll open back up to where we were before. I can scroll way down and I can type out my information and sign the contract right here. Countersign. When I countersign it, not only does it save in the system, but it will also save this information to that client portal. So that way that client can also reference our signed contract if they ever need it for their records. So now I'm going to go back into the project here where we started out this talk. And now if I view the contract, I open it here, it doesn't ask me to sign it anymore. Instead it just shows a complete contract with both of our signatures there, and we cannot edit either of them. So that is how you can countersign documents in Dubado. A really great way to consolidate the software you're using and save yourself a little bit of time and money along the way. Thanks.
