How to Create Your First Email Template in HubSpot

Jorge Fuentes from Sidekick Strategies and Hub Heroes walks through creating a sales email template in HubSpot, showing how to add tokens for personalization and schedule sends.
Hey, this is Jorge Fuentes from the Sidekick Strategies and Hub Heroes team and I'm here today to walk you through how to implement your first sales email template inside of HubSpot that you can then send out to contacts, either on a one to one basis or via specific email sales sequence within HubSpot. Check this out. Once you're inside of HubSpot, go to.
Your left side panel over here, this navigation bar, click on Library and then go to Templates. From there we're gonna click on the button on the top right corner that says new template and then we're gonna create one from scratch. Now here's where we're gonna paste in our email template. As you can see, I already have one ready and I'm actually gonna grab the subject line and also I'm going.
To delete this white space.
I'm going to put in the subject line here. I'm also going to put it as the name. Right. And then I may just proceed to edit this accordingly. Right, so I'll just put Sidekick Strategies, Right, which is the name of our agency. Let's paste it in right there. Right. And so let's now begin to add the tokens. Right, so when I talk about personalization tokens, I mean this. Right? So if we're going to insert here the client's name, I'm just going to drag and select that copy and then click on Personalize. And then I'm going to find the contact's first name. And there we go. Now it's in there. Right in here I'm probably just going to paste in our own agency name. Right. Strategies. From there I'm going to go a little bit further down the line and I see there's one where it says link to scheduling tools. I'm going to select that. I'm going to insert a meeting link and then I'm going to select this one right here, your own meeting link. There we go. And I'm going to insert that. And then in the meantime, feel free to explore R. And then here's where I'm going to actually link a resource. Right? So let's insert maybe one of our documents. So I'm actually going to go with maybe the state of content marketing and then insert that. Right, so there we go. Now over here, the last piece of personalized token I want to insert is maybe this, my full name, which is after the Best regards section. So I'm actually going to go and look for Owner here and I'm just going to select Contact Owner. Right, so that for sure will be sending out my name if I'm the contact owner of this, of the specific contact to which I send this email to. So I'm just going to save my email template. Now click on Save template. And now as you can see, if I go to maybe the CRM section, go to my contacts and select pretty much any, any contact right here. Let's go with my own right here I'm going to click on mine, Jorge Zapata and I'm going to click on the email, create an email. And in here as you can see, I have the option of selecting my template. So I'm going to select my template and then I'm going to click on this new template that I created, right? And then I'm just going to do a quick click right there. And as you can see, all of the info has now been filled out with the corresponding info. So for example first name the agency name as well the meeting link and the resource, right? Which I can definitely go ahead and edit the text as I wish, right? Like for example, download this guide, etc. And click save. And as you can see now I could proceed on the bottom left side area to either schedule by sending later or send right away. And this is a good and powerful way to quickly implement my sales templates within just a couple of clicks.
And that's pretty much it. Now that is how you create a specific email template inside of HubSpot that you can then quickly use and import it into a one to one email that you want to send out to a specific contact in your database and or also you have the ability to use it in sales sequences within HubSpot and the like. Remember, education is great, but execution is where it's at. So go out there and be the hub hero that your organization needs today.
