Jorge Fuentes walks through enabling automatic exchange rate updates in HubSpot. Toggle it on in Settings, pick your frequency (monthly, quarterly, or yearly), and the system pulls rates from Open Exchange Rates. Closed deals lock in whatever rate was active on their close date.
Hey hop heroes. This is Jorge Fuentes from the Cyclic Strategies team and today we're going to take a look at how to enable automatic exchange rate Updates in your HubSpot portal. Check it out.
So we're going to log into HubSpot and if we're dealing with multiple currencies.
For our HubSpot deals, do know that.
We now have the ability to enable automatic exchange rate updates in our portal. So let's go to our gear settings icon here at the top and then on the left hand side let's go to account defaults and then let's go to the currency tab right here. And then you'll notice we we now have the ability to schedule automatic exchange rate updates.
Keep in mind that once we toggle.
This on, we can only choose either monthly, quarterly or yearly updates since daily updates are not available.
But closed deals will always use the.
Latest exchange rate on their close date. Now we only have to click on update and that's as much as we need to do. And now for every currency that we've added to our portal, such as in this case the US dollar, the Canadian dollar, the Euro and the Mexican peso, these will get automatically within that scheduled automatic exchange rate updates with the frequency of monthly in this case. And that's pretty much all we need to do.
And that's pretty much it. So now you can easily set and forget about having to manually update your currency exchange rates with this new feature of HubSpot. You can definitely just set it to an either monthly, quarterly or yearly automatic exchange rate update. And do know that this is a feature that is powered by a third party vendor from HubSpot called Open Exchange Rates. Remember, education is great, but the execution is where it's at. So go out there and be the hub hero that your organization needs today.
