Hey hop heroes. This is Jorge fuentes from the SidekickStrategies team. And today we're going to discover how to enable list size notifications. What this will do is that whenever you create an active list and it reaches a certain limit in the size of that list, you will get an email notification from HubSpot telling you that that specific threshold that you have set has been reached. Check it out.
All right, so we're going to log into HubSpot and on the left hand side we're going to go to CRM and then we're going to go to lists. Now I want to create a list that is going to not me if and whenever there's someone in that list. So one contact or more. So in this case I'm going to create a list on the right hand side. I'm going to select that. It's going to be humans in this case because I customized my contacts to be called humans, but they're essentially contacts here. So I'll just select contacts there, I'll click next here and then I'm going to call it email is unknown. And then I'm just going to add a filter here and then I'm going to select some contact properties or human properties in this case and then I'm going to type email and then I'm going say email is equal to any of and instead of that option I'm going to select is unknown. Right. So I'm just going to say review and save this list and I'm going to save and process the list. We'll wait a little bit for it to process and I can see that this list is now created now. So it doesn't. It has about three records here. So what I'm going to do is go to settings here and I'm going to say I'm going to go to notifications on the left hand side and then I'm going to have it notify me if and when this list reaches a specific size. So since I already know it has three records that I got to check, I'm going to say that if and whenever it hits a total of five records to notify me. Now I'm going to set what user that's going to be, that's going to be myself. So Jorge, right there. And then I'm going to save it. And that's pretty much it. So now anytime, if and when this list hits five humans or five contacts, I will get an email notification from HubSpot that that's the size that it has reached and that's about it.
And that's pretty much it. So now you know how to enable that specific setting whereby you'll get a notification if and whenever your list reaches a specific size. Remember, education is great, but the execution is where it's at. So go out there and be the hub hero that your organization needs to be.
