How to EXPORT contacts from LinkedIn to HubSpot

Veronica shows how to use the Surf Chrome extension to pull LinkedIn contacts directly into HubSpot, automating data entry and enriching profiles with verified email addresses. It saves sales teams from manual CRM work.
One of the most time consuming tasks you have as a salesperson is adding new context to your CRM. And if you prospect on LinkedIn, you end up wasting a chunk of your time copy pasting information between the two platforms. Switching tabs going back and forth is a hassle, understandably. So many people don't value these tasks as much as they do outreach or other sales related activities simply because these manual tasks. This admin does not generate value straight away, but it is crucial that everything is logged inside HubSpot. So what if I told you you could save hours by eliminating these repetitive tasks with a HubSpot LinkedIn integration? My name is Veronica and today I'm going to show you how you can Export contacts from LinkedIn to HubSpot in one click of a button. Let's go. All right, let's set this up. So you guys are going to go to surf.com and click start for free. This is where you'll be able to download the Chrome extension from the Chrome Store to which you will be redirected. Just click Add to Chrome Add Extension extension. Just like that, Surf has been added to Chrome and now you'll be able to select the CRM that you would like to connect to surf and also LinkedIn. So here I'm just going to choose HubSpot. You'll need to sign into your HubSpot account and give Surf all of the necessary permissions. So just sign in, choose the HubSpot account that you want to connect Surf to. So once you're connected, Surf will redirect you to LinkedIn and you're basically free to start. Please do note that if you're the first person connecting your CRM to Surf, you might need to have specific permissions inside your HubSpot account to be able to connect the tool to your CRM. So if you don't have those, please ask your admin to grant you those or to do that for you. This way we will be able to transfer data from LinkedIn to HubSpot with no issues. So now that you're all set up, let's check it out together. And I bet there's one thing you notice straight away, which is people are highlighted in blue. Like Roma, for example, Marta and David. They're highlighted in blue because they are already inside my CRM. And I know that because Surf has scanned HubSpot for me and then it checked LinkedIn and it was like, well, these guys are inside your CRM, so I'm just going to highlight them in blue. There's no deals with them, but at least you know someone has already contacted them or added them to the CRM. So if you're working with the team, there will be no double contacting issues or anything like that. And this way you can also actually focus on the new opportunities and the leads that you haven't reached out to, instead of, you know, reaching out to someone who is already inside your CRM and only realizing that later. Like, that would kind of suck. Let's be real. So. So when you do find an interesting lead like Matthew right here, what you'd normally do, right, is just try to find his contact information, open up HubSpot, create a contact, switch back and forth between the platforms, maybe sprinkle in a few enrichment tools here and there. But gone are those days, my friends. They are gone because as you can see, we've added this overlay of your CRM on top of Matthew's profile and this will be true for anyone's LinkedIn profile here. Circ detects that Matthew is a new prospect and he's not inside your CRM and you have the option to add him a contact or as a deal, let's just add him in. One click of a button like that, Ta da. Surf will also run our enrichment cascade, which means while you're adding someone to the CRM in the background, we're looking for their missing contact information. Some people don't have their professional emails displayed on LinkedIn because rightfully so, why would they? Some people only have phones, some people have nothing. And you know, it's a pain in the ass to be running around using multiple enrichment tools back and forth, dropping stuff into your HubSpot, verifying whether that email is even correct or is it going to bounce like, no one likes that we solve that issue for you. So as I was blabbering right here, you can see that Surf has found Matthew's phone and email number, in this case with Apollo. But we also integrate with Hunter, rocketreach, Drop contact people, data labs and other tools to make sure that we find the correct information for you. And then we also verify the emails with zero bounce to ensure that this email is legit. And when you send someone a message, like, it's actually going to go through. So just like that, Matthew's been added to my HubSpot CRM. Super easy. Let's just double, triple, quadruple check that everything's inside and you won't have to believe me because you would have seen it. So there we go. His contact has clearly been created inside HubSpot for me, I did not lift a finger, actually lies, because I lifted a finger to press the button once, but that was it. In the meantime, we were just chatting with you guys and I am the contact owner. I have his phone number and email, which are validated, and if I want to, I can even find his mobile phone because we also source that kind of information. All of his information from LinkedIn has been filled out and it's as easy as that. So this LinkedIn HubSpot integration comes in handy when you're adding your prospects from LinkedIn to your CRM. And this way you can save time, but also ensure that your data is correct, verified and your CRM is clean. Because no one wants a messy CRM and otherwise you won't be able to use it efficiently. Right. And the best thing is that this works the same way with LinkedIn sales navigator. So you can actually push contacts you find on Sales Nav to your CRM directly and even export full lead lists of hundreds of people from sales nav into HubSpot with like one or two clicks. And the contacts are also enriched. So that's a huge time saver. I have a separate video on the Sales NAV HubSpot integration where I talk about this in more detail and show how it works. So feel free to check that out. I'll drop a link in the description of this video so you can head there and just check it out for yourself. But other than that, I hope this was useful and you can now go and test out Surf for yourself. It's free for 14 days, so please do give it a shot. Test it out, see how many contacts you can add with Surf and I dare you to compare how many contexts have you added the week before you started using Surf? So manually doing your thing, you know, the old, old obsolete way versus how many contacts are you able to add this week when you're testing Surf for yourself, I'll drop the link in the description box so you can give it a try. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Also hit that notification bell so you don't miss any of the videos that we're about to shoot at you. And this way we can flo in your YouTube page and you'll get notified. Check out Surf and thank me later. Peace out.
