The content focuses on practical steps for deal creation, updating, linking contacts, and customizing deal names within the integrated platform.
Hello Miles here and welcome to Surf. In this video, I'm excited to show you how to create and manage deals directly from LinkedIn, all synced with HubSpot.
Let's dive in. First thing to take note of is that when a deal is created, it will be visible on the company and every employee of that company's LinkedIn profiles. Let's say you've found the prospect and had a killer qualification call. Now you're ready to open a new opportunity, which you can now do directly from their LinkedIn profile. Just click Create Deal, decide if it's a new or existing deal, then choose your pipeline. This deal is instantly synced with HubSpot, keeping your pipeline up to date. Fill in the required details such as deal name, deal stage, deal value, and any other notes and that's it. Next, let's look at managing your existing deals. You can view and update them right from LinkedIn. Just open the LinkedIn profile of the contact associated with the deal. You can then edit the deal information as needed, such as updating the deal stage, adjusting the value of the deal, add notes, or even change the owner. Your HubSpot will be updated instantly. If you already have a deal in HubSpot and you're now prospecting a new participant in the conversation, you can easily link them to the existing deal with Surf. Instead of creating a whole new deal, just go to the LinkedIn profile of that contact you want to add to an existing deal. Access the Deals column and click on Add Deal. You'll see a pop up will appear. Click on Existing Deal, then search for your preferred deal.
Last but certainly not least, you can also create custom names which are automatically.
Assigned to every deal you create. These custom names come with variables that are pulled from the LinkedIn profile, helping to personalize the deals. To do this, your surf admin should go to their dashboard settings and make the changes.
