This is a YouTube video titled "How to send emails directly from LinkedIn" created in September 2024. The video features a single speaker named Miles who provides a step-by-step tutorial on integrating Gmail with LinkedIn using the Surf extension, enabling users to send emails directly from LinkedIn profiles. The content is instructional and focused on software usage guidance.
Hi, I'm Miles and welcome to Surf. I'm here in this video to help you connect your LinkedIn with Gmail so that you can start to send your emails directly from LinkedIn. We'll start by enabling the integration, and you'll only need to do this once. First up, let's get to the Surf side panel, which you can access in two ways. You can open the Surf side panel by clicking the Surf extension button, which I hope you've pinned at the top of your Google Chrome browser. Or you can hover over the surf notch on the right hand side of the page and click the Profile button. Just scroll down on the Surf side panel until you see the Gmail icon. Click on the toggle to enable Gmail and start the connection process. And from here you'll be prompted to sign in with your Gmail address as well as provide the correct authorizations. And that's it. And I can prove this by opening the Surf side panel again, scrolling down and you can see that Gmail's been enabled. Now all you need to do is is scroll down on the Contact LinkedIn profile and you'll see the Gmail icon next to the email address. Just click on this icon to start composing your email and give the email subject and you can even include your Gmail signature and click to send simple stuff and that's done. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please feel free to contact me or any of my colleagues in the support team. We'll be happy to help. And you can also check out our Help Center. Welcome aboard and happy surfing.
