A walkthrough of setting up a content creation workflow using task management tools like SmartSuite, ClickUp, Trello, or Asana. The speaker shows how to build checklists and templates that keep your content process consistent and repeatable.
Once we've defined what your process is, we can start actually using this to manage our work and give us that sense of focus. The way this usually works would be to create some kind of template inside your task management tool. If you're using a software like SmartSuite, this might mean populating the default values in your content creation area so that you always have the checklist of these steps ready anytime you create a new piece of content. If you're using a task management software like ClickUp or Trello or Asana, you might be creating a template either as a task or list or something in between, and making sure you're either manually or automatically applying it to new content you're creating. Or if you want to just keep things simple, maybe you have a Word document or a spreadsheet where you're tracking your tasks in and then you can use the checklist function or maybe just a cell in a spreadsheet to track the steps you have in that process and just create a new document, or maybe just a new repeating section each time you have that task come up.
