This is a YouTube video titled "How to Use SmartSuite as your Database" containing a monologue or presentation from April 6, 2023, explaining the use of SmartSuite as a centralized database system to manage tasks efficiently with fewer silos. The content focuses on the structure and scalability of the system rather than a multi-speaker conversation.
The app is our database by default. With SmartSuite, we have just the one database here, but we know we can add so many more to have different structures, different apps, all tucked inside. Something unique about how SmartSuite works is that because the views are so powerful, we can actually get away with fewer databases that collect more of our information with fewer silos. And so, despite the fact that we are going to be making a pretty complex and scalable system, I'm actually suggesting that we do not expand beyond this tasks area. We are going to track everything we have to do related to our work and tasks in this one app.
