This is a YouTube video titled "How to Use SmartSuite for Agile Project Management 🛠️ Part 1" created in July 2023. The content is a monologue or presentation explaining the differences between Agile and Waterfall project management approaches and offering advice on using SmartSuite software to organize tasks effectively, especially recommending agile templates for flexibility in workflows.
Most people fall somewhere in the middle between Agile project management and waterfall project management. Waterfall means we're going to plan everything in advance, whereas agile means we're going to take it little by little and evaluate things. If you've got a known process or productized service, you're probably going to be using waterfall planning of thinking everything out into the future and doing exactly what you plan. However, if you're participating in innovation, if you're being creative and not quite sure what the custom outcome is going to be, you'll generally be operating in a more agile approach. Regardless of which way you organize your projects for your business or your team, you can use SmartSuite to organize all of the tasks that you need to do in a way that works for you. Most people operate somewhere between Agile and waterfall. It may be hard to find the right structure in SmartSuite to fit your particular workflow, but my tip for anyone out there is to always use agile templates in your work management software. You can always take an agile template and use it for waterfall. You can't really do it in the opposite direction. What template do you use?
