HubSpot Email Sending Domain Setup

Are you getting started with the HubSpot Marketing Hub? And you've been asked to add the email sending domain to HubSpot so that you can use your marketing email tool to actually send emails. And when you heard that, did you immediately go, oh no. Well maybe you didn't go like that, but you were like, how the heck do I do that? Well, guess what, that's exactly what we're going to talk about in today's video. Hey, you know what time it is? That's right. It's your boy George b.thomas from georgebthomas.com and today in this video video we're going to talk about how to set up your email sending domain in HubSpot. I'm going to walk you through the easy steps to get it done. Make sure you get that little green light. So without further ado, let's go ahead and get into the good stuff.

So in this video we are located in settings, we are under website and we are in domains and URLs. And if you haven't watched the video on actually getting your website and your redirect domains set up, going to be a link for that in the description below. But today we're actually going to add the email sending domain so that we're able to actually send marketing emails through the HubSpot CRM system. And so this is actually pretty simple. We're going to hit connect an email sending domain. We're going to go ahead and put the email in here for the actual domain and then we'll hit next. We'll go ahead and hit next again. Now because we are authorizing it with GoDaddy, it's very simple. But if you were not using GoDaddy, you would again simply take the manual information that you can copy and paste and you would take it into your DNS manager, wherever that is. In this case, because we are using GoDaddy, we'll hit authorize with GoDaddy. We're going to go ahead and hit connect and we're going to go ahead and give it time to do what it needs to do. You're going to see that the domain setup is almost ready. And look at this Fix DNS record errors. We found two errors in your DNS records. Copy the required data to set below and paste them in the fields. Okay, so missing record C name we're going to go ahead and copy this and actually what we'll do real quick is we'll check again and that one's resolved. We'll go ahead and give it a second and we'll check again. And there we go. So sometimes when you get the errors, it's not about copying it, it's about giving it the time so it can happen in your actual place. So definitely give it a couple minutes. Then if it's still showing an error, you can go over to your DNS record and add it. Now we're going to hit done. What's beautiful about this portal right here.
