HubSpot's Reports Builder now lets you break down data by specific date parts like day of the week, day of the month, and month. This makes custom reporting more flexible when you need to see patterns across different time intervals.
Hey, friends, got a cool new update to the way time is handled in the reports builder. So check this out. Here I am in the custom reports builder. I'm just going to grab a sample report. How about how many contacts are created on a daily basis? That sounds good. And so this is just a standard report here. And we'll wait for it to load and there we go. And what we're seeing here is day by day, right? Because if we look at, at this, the frequency is daily, right? So for this day and for that day and for that day and that day, we, we're seeing how many were done each day. And that's, that's how frequency works, right. If we wanted to change it to a different thing, we would see a different thing. But there's this new date part thing. And I want you to notice the difference here. Like, I can select day of the week, and these are, these are alternate. You can only select one or the other. But day of the week, look what happens now. Now we're seeing how many contacts were created on a Sunday, how many were created on a Monday, right. We're aggregating kind of based on this part of the day there. Go date part, right. And we can do. How about, how about day of the month, right? Like looking at date instead of day of the week. So instead of names, we're going to see 1 through 31, right? And we can see this. And for some reason, we do not create contacts on the 5th. How about that? And you know, you can do this a lot of different ways. We could look at month notice here real quick. What you're going to see when you see month, we have just July and August because under the filters, we're seeing is last 30 days, right? But if we made it, you know, last 365 days, how about then we would see more months. Anyway, this is now live. It's now in the Report Builder. Check it out. Let me know what you think and let me know if you have any questions.
