Happy Friday. We are busy Friday with 11 updates.
Indeed two already with today's date. Yeah, first, that's 7:30 in the morning at Central.
That's fun. Somebody's working around the clock. Hey Chris, before we get too much into these 11 updates and I know we gotta roll pretty quickly to get through them in the time that we have allotted. As I listened to the song this morning, I tried to put myself in the listeners and viewers of the show who get to dance for approximate amount of time. And I started to ask myself, is there a place where this song lives that people could go and actually listen to the rest of it? Because I can only imagine at this point there's a large amount of humans on the planet that are like, how does it end? What's the rest of the song sound like? I could be wrong. Maybe it's just me, but if you haven't put it in a place where you could send people to actually listen to the whole song, it might be. It might be good.
We should add that to the homepage. That's coming out pretty soon.
That would be great.
There we go. I love that idea.
Let's dance button. And you hit it and it just plays the whole song.
I like the idea that the home page is like a MySpace page where you have your song on the.
Ah, there you go, There you go. You could even put a picture of Tom on there and just reminisce about the Full circle.
There we go. We'll get into it. Wonderful idea, George. I'll add that to the list because I like that song a lot.
You're welcome.
Surprises there. Update Number one Backfilling AI Descriptions for All Workflows what is it? Customers managing portals with numerous workflows or multiple workflow creators often rely on clear workflow descriptions for effective oversight and auditing. However, the current AI Assistant only supports adding subscriptions one workflow at a time, which becomes a major bottleneck when many workflows lack descriptions. Additionally, customers frequently skip adding descriptions during or right after creation, only to realize their importance later, particularly when trying to understand workflows created by others. To address this challenge, customers need an efficient way to ensure all workflows are properly described, simplifying ongoing management. We are now making this possible.
This matters because since the vast majority of AI generated workflow descriptions are accepted as is, we're now saving customers the extra clicks and task by backfilling AI descriptions for all existing workflows. Moving forward, we'll also auto generate descriptions for any newly created workflows that don't have them, ensuring consistent and efficient workflow management with no added effort.
So a couple things for me 1 I think this is cool, but I'm also leery because while I have been generating a lot of descriptions for like lists and workflows with AI and I think it's getting really good, I hope that people pay attention to like what I'll call the demigod workflows in their portal to make sure that it truly has the context in the description that it needs. Also, the second thing on my brain right now is holy what contextual text world do we live in right now? Where the who gets it is almost as long as the why does it matter Potential places that this could be available. Professional Customer Platform Enterprise Customer Platform Marketing Pro Marketing Enterprise Marketing +Pro Marketing + Enterprise OpsPro Ops Enterprise Sales Pro Sales Enterprise Service Pro Service Enterprise Smart CR there's got to be a better way. I didn't even finish reading all of them.
No, they gotta list all that out so it's clear. Content Hub does not get it. Okay? It doesn't have workflows.
One thing I'm thinking is that the it says that most AI generated workflow descriptions are accepted as is one Crazy to me that they know that.
Two that doesn't surprise me.
I know, it's just when they said I was like that's some. That's some reporting. Also I would, I would just like to recommend to everyone that they read their AI generated descriptions and not just click accept. I've been there, I, I've done it. I've been like, whatever, it's a description Better.
The same people that are skipping it probably just want to one click it and then whatever it is, it is. But this is an example of hey, humans haven't been good at this thing. They're probably never going to get good at this thing. So time for AI to come in and help with this thing.
Yeah, I love that because I agree I was never going to be good at writing workflow description.
It's hard as George B. Thomas tries to train and enable people doing descriptions. Now he gets to build his own AI tools. Probably just like hey yeah, browse and search knowledge base in the widget. Which widget you might be asking? It is the chat widget that we've had available for a while. Super upgraded now recently. What's new? We've upgraded our chat widget with a new help tab that gives users direct access to the knowledge base. No more jumping to external websites for answers. Inside the help tab your users can browse categories, search articles, find trending articles. This update makes self service support much smoother by keeping everything in one place, making helpful information available exactly when users need it as long as you have created it for them to find.
Do you want me to read how it's set up? We also have 11, so yeah, we've.
Hit it before and if you haven't used the chat widget, like, like the functionality is easy to set up but again the hard part is going to be like do you have articles? Do you have a knowledge base?
My question is has it always been able to expand like this gif or no, showing it expand like that to me was interesting, exciting of like wait, it just gave the reader more room to actually read the thing that they're trying to figure out like and again, I don't know if this is like just something they created to or if the actual real functionality that they're clicking on here, but it is.
No. A few months ago there was like a re reimagining rebuild of the whole chat with it. Right? So nice make space for things like that to happen. And again, that's kind of like a functionality that we're used to on a lot of websites is this multifaceted approach to like the chat bubble. So cool to see that moving forward. AI Email Template Import Private Beta. What is it? AI Email Template Import eliminates the need to manually rebuild email templates when bringing external designs In Tub Spot, simply paste HTML from your existing templates into our new AI template import tool. The AI instantly converts your design into a fully editable drag and drop template within HubSpot's email editor, no coding required.
This matters because are you tired of manually rebuilding email templates every time you want to use an external design in HubSpot? Whether you're migrating from platforms like Mailchimp or Klaviyo, or using designs from tools like Figma, recreating templates in the HubSpot email editor takes time. This manual process can delay campaigns and lead to frustrating inconsistencies. The new AI email template import tool allows you to skip the rebuild entirely. Just upload or paste your existing templates HTML and let the AI recreate it within HubSpot in seconds.
Yeah, we definitely live in two different worlds right now because I was training the email tool the other day and I got done talking about all the cool things you can do. And a human on the other side of the training goes, well, can I. Can I code HTML in here? To which I said, why? Why? But then I was like, you can import HTML with AI. How's that sound? Anyway, the conversation took a couple turns left and right, but then they figured out like they were stuck in historical thinking of what they would have to do to make something look good because they didn't realize the power of the drag and drop editor that leads into. Anyway.
Yep. And I love the words import and recreate because what we are not doing is migrating. Okay, yes, so much of this happens with cms. Like the reason we need this so bad to let HubSpot recreate because then it will use the HubSpot tool set as it does that and not really strictly on the rely strictly on the code.
Right.
So that it won't be tracked, you won't get any of the analytics. Right. Which is easy to do. And you just like, okay, here's the blank slate. Editors code, like however you need to. Right? That's not why you bring things into HubSpot.
So I just did a session with my friend Tricia yesterday. We were talking about the email drag and drop editor more and how easy it is to make website pages without code there. But it's the same thing. And one thing I have heard frustration on from HubSpot users in the past is they say it's hard to edit their website in HubSpot. And then I go in and I'm like, well, yeah, all of your. Your entire website's custom coded.
It's not using modules not using CTA is not using theme settings. Right. They had a great episode at that with Anton last year, talking about atomic design and, like, building blocks and it's just, man, that's what you pay for. HubSpot for. Don't do it that way. It's painful to watch. Number four, Temporarily pause Breeze Customer Agent. What is it? Customers can now pause Customer Agent with a single click. This temporarily stops the agent from being assigned to new conversations on any connected channel without completely unassigning the agent.
This matters because the agent will automatically pause when the portal runs out of HubSpot credits. You can unpause it by buying more credits. You can also manually pause the agent at any time, for example, when you want to audit behavior or make content updates.
Oh, man, I love it when they're honest. It makes it so much easier. I thought I was gonna have to say that part. That's the reason it's important.
We needed a feature for when you ran out of money. You can pause your tool before you do.
Yeah. My first thought was, like, all right, who's in charge of the button? So that when they see the bank account or the credits, like, all right, they have a direct link to this button. So that. But of course, it's like, yeah, HubSpot needs a way to quickly turn it off that doesn't make you reset everything, you know, as well. So thank you for making that easier, HubSpot.
Yeah, we appreciate you.
Edit or delete campaign UTM values. What is it? You can now edit or delete campaign UTM values, providing greater control and ensuring more accurate reporting.
This matters because.
