This is a YouTube video titled "HubSpot Updates #HubSpot" recorded in June 2025, featuring a conversational morning show format with hosts Chris Carolyn, Casey Hawkins, and George B. Thomas. The show discusses recent updates and new features in the HubSpot platform, including phone number acquisition in new countries, sandbox improvements, record cloning, AI-powered customer agent expansion, and integration management enhancements. The content is an informal, multi-speaker discussion aimed at helping users discover and utilize HubSpot's capabilities effectively.

Good morning, HubSpot Nation. It is time to Wake Up, Customer Platform with your unofficial HubSpot Updates morning show where we help you discover the platform value you already own.
Chris.
I'm Chris Carolyn, joined by my co hosts Casey Hawkins and George B. Thomas. We are here every weekday morning to make sure you're not sleeping on HubSpot's true capabilities. If you're joining live, drop a hello in the comments and let us know what you're building in HubSpot today. And if you're just discovering us, we're now available as a podcast on Spotify and Apple Music, so you never have to miss an episode.
That's good.
How we doing? It is June 3, 2025. Happy Tuesday.
The year is flying by.
Yeah, just thanks for the constant reminder that time keeps on slipping. Slipping into the future. Man, I gotta quit singing on this podcast. I don't know what's going on.
I don't know. I think I. I could use some more of it, honestly. But no time. Today, after a day of one update, we get 10, all dated at June 2nd. So big things happening and some big ones too, that we will get to. Oh, first of all, we get an opportunity to let everybody know in case they want to call in from Nordics, France and Spain. That's probably not how that works, but we've got a new call in help with HubSpot show coming up on Friday, 2 to 3 Central, 3 to 4 Eastern. And we're taking advantage of the HubSpot calling tool set to support that show. So thanks, HubSpot, for giving me an opportunity with this update. What is this update? Though? HubSpot phone number acquisition is now available in additional countries, Nordics, which equal Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland, France and Spain. You can submit business documentation for these countries and acquire a HubSpot phone number that can be used for inbound and outbound calling, team calling and help desk, IVR and more.
Cool. This one matters because calling users with global business locations must acquire a number in their locality. HubSpot is adding number acquisitions for seven additional countries, allowing you to better solve for their calling needs in more regions. In response to the evolving regulatory landscape, many countries are intensifying their enforcement of telecom regulations. This includes mandates for verifying the legitimate users of phone numbers and validating business locations. To Streamline this process, HubSpot has introduced a documentation flow within its platform, allowing you to effortlessly submit the necessary regulatory documents, ensuring compliance and facilitating seamless number acquisition in these countries. That's nice.
Nice. They need to update this at the very end and so that you can call into the show. Then this update will be perfect.
There you go.
I love this.
Or if you want to start up, you know, maybe once we get the international franchise going, it'll be easier to start up in these countries. But small framing change in response to evolving regulatory landscapes. How about in response to people hating being spammed on the phone? Yeah, which is why these regulations exist. Good to see that they're finally starting to enforce them. Yes, and I'm sure AI is helping out a lot with that while also giving them a reason to enforce them. So good to see HubSpot moving forward. Number two new standard sandbox with improved production metadata and deploy to production supported assets. Oh, what is it? You can use standard sandboxes to safely define your CRM data model and orchestrate business processes using automations. Common use cases include migrating to HubSpot from another CRM, setting up data flows as you build out your tech stack, testing business automations like workflows, forms, lists, automated marketing emails, and CRM object definitions to nurture humans or support your sales and service teams. You get a realistic preview of how everything will work using a full copy of your supported production metadata. And when you're ready, you can deploy changes directly to production with our new native deployment feature. That's why we're rolling out a more advanced version of standard Sandbox. It includes enhanced support for copying production metadata so you can run more robust tests, and a new native feature that lets you deploy supported assets from sandbox into production. We don't even need a Y. That's how powerful this one is. Why? Because everybody expected it already. And we're finally below. There's finally here.
There isn't. There isn't a why.
I already scrolled like this first update that doesn't have a why.
It is enterprise only. But this is one of those things where it's like, until HubSpot had this, there were certain conversations you just couldn't have about HubSpot replacing other CRMs, having to rebuild, having to test stuff in a sandbox knowing you have to rebuild it like in production without being able to push this is huge new native deployment feature.
To be honest, I have done sandboxes before, but not a lot. And part of it's this.
Yeah, most people try to avoid doing stuff in the sandbox at all costs because you're just gonna have to redo.
It because I mean, let's be honest, like sometimes a sandbox is just like a big cat litter box or like all the droppings end up happening and you go in there and it's like, oh, this place stinks. Now it won't stink as much. By the way, that was me making HubSpot fun. I'm just saying.
Exactly. But it does remind us of the original. One of the value props of HubSpot in my opinion is that production is built in a way that is stable and you can experiment inside of production without worrying about the whole system coming down. Which is why they didn't focus on this, in my opinion in the first place. So with great power comes great responsibility. But I know a lot of people excited for that one. Number three, basic record cloning.
This is big.
Hit that like applause button or something. George.
I don't know if happily's applause right now, but what is it?
Introducing record cloning. Users can now create a new record based on an existing record. Any of the properties and associations that are configured in the create form of the object may be included in the new record for clarification. This does exist for some of the objects in the portal now, like like invoices and some stuff over in commerce, but come into the rest of the portal.
This matters because all or part of records may be reusable. Today, users have to do the hard work of copying information from one record to another because they can't clone records. With this update, users are able to duplicate CRM records, contacts, company deals, tickets, custom objects, appointments, listing service and courses from the record page. Cloning is an essential feature that saves time and minimizes the risk of mistakes for manual input. Chris, you always complain that they don't put all of the objects available. I will say I. When they, when I realized they were doing it, I was like, this is. This is worse for me, but it's.
Better for the users.
Yes, I know, I know.
Take a deeper breath next time.
I ran out of breath during that I was like, oh wow, we're really going through them all.
That's it. This is powerful stuff, George.
It is.
People have been wanting it for a while. They've been using there have been great options.
Yeah, listen, I love Happily I for years have been using Clone Attack to be able to do things that you once couldn't do in HubSpot. So the fact that you can just do the thing in HubSpot. My brain is being torn in two directions. One conversation I don't want to have here this morning. The other one is you should look at your system and your processes to see if this just totally revolutionized someone's life and gives them about 40 hours of their week back.
Yes, big deal. Definitely hitting this button. Not sure if I did it already. We'll do it again just to be sure.
I know deals are the main ones I've seen.
What's that?
I was just gonna say deals are the one I've seen cloned most often. If you're seeing this and you're like, why are they so excited? I don't understand why I would clone a contact. Aren't we always complaining about duplicates?
Can I just dig a little bit deeper before we hit the next.
Sorry. Sorry. I just.
But. But at the end of the day when you have your line items in place and you've got your deals in place and it's a reoccurring partnership that you're trying to manage and you can hit clone the item and it brings the company and the contact and the line items and you can just put it in the stage that it needs to be in. It sometimes can be life changing to the amount of time that you can then go outside and hang out with the one you love. Okay, I'm done here. I'm done.
Yes, I'd say deals and services now like having templated records. Like teams often ask about that like immediately. Right? Because they're used to doing that from whatever word doc or spreadsheet. They're just like copy save as new. A really natural part of an intuitive part of most processes. I think so. Very cool to see that. Another doozy here. Breeze customer agent now available across all pro hubs. What is it? We're expanding Breeze customer agent beyond service hub, making it available across all pro portals starting today. Now marketing, sales and Service can deliver 24.7ai powered support across the entire customer journey. It's the same agent already resolving over 50% of conversations in the customer in the. In the HubSpot customer user base now available to more teams in more places.
This matters because customer expectations don't end at support and now neither does customer agent. By bringing customer agent into every hub, we're empowering teams to automate fast, accurate and helpful responses from first touch to long after the sale. Whether it's handling product questions or solving support issues, Customer Agent helps teams scale without growing headcount.
So two things and then I'll shut up Casey and you can roll with it. No, no, you should definitely go to the update because there's a line that says see how Customer Agent is already driving results here and you should go see the results that it's driving to see if you want those results for your organization or whoever you are. The second thing I'll say is you should go look at this update because dare I say this is one of the dopest images that I've seen in the update. Like I love the layering and the colors and the vibe of this graphic. I'm sure that it was probably used somewhere else. But the fact that some smart human use this to be the graphic for this update. I give you applause. Whoever.
I have a, I have a hunch that when I click on this page, maybe not. It's definitely on a product page somewhere.
I think so. Yes.
Right.
But the page you're showing, by the way. So for those of you listening, not watching, we are looking at the HubSpace HubSpot Breeze Customer Success like case studies, testimonials like verbiage around people who are getting success from it. It's a good amount of like information that you can dig into here. I'm just gonna throw that out there. So definitely check it out.
Question. So Customer Agent originally obviously in Service Hub famously as we just read a lot of what it was trained on was knowledge base.
Yep.
So I see here it says it's going to learn from your website, landing pages, knowledge based PDFs and more. I guess I'm just wandering and this is a more a larger question I guess but like are people's websites and landing pages enough information to train?
Aha. The Customer Agent Houston, we have discovered a problem. If your website is currently a five page brochure, if you are currently not educating humans on the things that you do, Customer Agent might not help you very much.
I mean my website, one page, however.
You can give it just about anything in terms of links and PDFs and files to give it the context it needs. Now do you have those things? I hope so, yeah. So content and context is what this needs to be do good things for you.
I guess I just wanted to call that out because what I, what I don't want to do today is email all of my clients and say turn this on and Then they don't have, they haven't fed it the right things or they don't have the stuff set up. And then they're like, this thing sucks when it doesn't.
Yeah, well, here's, here's the thing that when you say that where my brain goes. Anytime that you look at any AI assistant and go, that sucks. You may want to realize that your AI assistant could be a mirror to the things that you have or the things that you've done to build the AI assistant. So you can't really just blame tech because maybe you didn't know what the heck you were doing.
What is happening today?
Yeah, I'm like half Dr. Seuss, half like, whatever, but. But at the end of the day, like, Chris, you said context, right? And content. And I would also say in here, like, please, by all that is holy, pay attention to like the core or the, the values, the mindsets, the beliefs, the. Like, you need to go a little bit deeper so that it can interact better. Listen, I'm just go interact with my clone versus a historical chat bot. You understand what I'm saying? Like, I literally wrote an article on like programming the essence. And I don't mean like nerd programming. I just mean like paying attention to who your business is and all of the things. And like, so get it in there so it can interact better. Anyway, I'll show.
Yeah, no, that's contextual programming. And I like this statement. Customer agent helps teams scale without growing headcount. A lot of people are making choices to replace headcount instead of focus on scaling the business. And one of my favorite use cases from last year from Inbound, not because of the headcount replaced, but because of the nuance. And like that's. They said they replaced 700 people with two. With two agents, but setting up the agents was not easy and it took them two or three months to set it up. Guess what they were setting up in those two, three months? All the documentation and support and enablement the 700 people should have had. And that's why they needed 700 people. Right? So if you're at all interested in focusing on enablement over replacement, I had a great conversation with Nico yesterday about not falling into the AI replacement trap. This is one of those things. You put this next to people that are customer facing every day. Wow, man. The gains that you'll see. If this is resolving 50% of the conversation, that means your team is now 50% freed up to do some real work related to customer experience and customer love and they're in the best position to do it.
So augment your humans yes please.
And legal stuff Update oh that's a sexy one.
Oh hello, this is long.
HubSpot recently updated the customer terms of service probably related to the breeze credits that you'll now have to use for customer agent and everybody in Pro and Enterprise is getting some credits to use to try it out for the next few months.
Nice.
Check out these links. Zapier App Custom Objects for Associations what is it? Custom objects are now supported within associations for the Zapier app for HubSpot. Before this update, you could create, update, search and delete custom object records when setting up triggers or adding actions in zapier. Likewise, users could leverage associations for standard CRM objects in their zaps.
Why does it matter? We have now extended these features so you have the ability to use association with custom objects when building zaps. Opening up a variety of use cases and automation that can be created with zapier.
Somebody hit the brakes please team. I love you but the why does it matter? Should be part of the what is it it and why it matters should please dive into something about the use cases and automations that that's why it matters. Like give some specificity to a brother.
Like what a silly day.
I would be happy to allow both Chris and Casey to reread this at a future date if you could update this one please.
Thanks so much George for allowing us that opportunity.
I'm good looking out. Good looking out. Yeah. Good to see associations making progress throughout the system. Schedule Automatic Exchange Rate Updates Sleeper hit in the Commerce Hub right now. What is it? You can now automate exchange rate updates for your currencies in HubSpot. Schedule updates monthly, quarterly or annually, Eliminating manual work and ensuring accuracy.
This matters because maintaining accurate and up to date exchange rates is crucial for businesses operating in multiple currencies. Manual updates are time consuming, prone to errors, and can lead to financial discrepancies. This automation feature saves time, reduces errors and minimizes financial risks associated with manual updates, allowing you to focus on growth. I like this one.
Yeah, yeah, I don't use it.
There is a world of just time and money saved as soon as people figure out HubSpot payments. The systems in place that do this stuff now or don't do it are so expensive and cumbersome and just man these these tax rate updates, these exchange rate updates, these have been plaguing organizations for years and I'm so excited to get people in there.
I wish I had the money, money, money. Like I Wish I had that sound effect. I'm trying to do it justice, but you know.
Coming to an episode tomorrow near you Ads AI Reporting Insights Private Beta what is it? You can now access AI Powered ad performance Insights directly from the Manage tab. Using the new Summarize Insights button, we will analyze your campaign performance and generate a summary that overviews the results, compares the performance between campaigns, and provides insights about the likely reasons behind performance differences.
This one matters because advertisers often run multiple campaigns simultaneously. Surprise. And need to quickly determine which ones are driving results. Sifting through the data table manually is time consuming. This new feature saves you time by summarizing key metrics and recommending optimization so you can make better decisions faster. I love the Ads report. I love any additions to it.
Yeah, complex thoughts related to I was.
As soon as I said it I.
Was like, chris, we'll move on.
You don't have to love ads to like the report.
My brain was literally teeter tottering in two different directions. So I'm glad the report is good. Oh, by the way, hang on. That was a hit that beta. If you like it.
Yep, yep. Connected Apps New Global and App Overview Pages.
Oof.
What is it? Introducing a new improved experience for how you manage and monitor your integrations within HubSpot. Our new global Overview page and Enhanced App Overview pages, located in the Connect Apps Connected App section of your HubSpot portal, are designed to empower admins with greater control, visibility and peace of mind over your entire integration ecosystem. This new experience brings all your integrations into one centralized, intuitive location, making it easier to discover, manage and troubleshoot all your connected applications. With this update, you can view integration health at a glance. You can monitor your apps proactively and set up critical alerts. You can deep dive into individual app performance. You can unlock growth with easy access to learning and support if the apps have that learning and support available to you and discover your next powerful integration. And it's so intuitive. I'm not going to read all the rest now.
Yeah, before Casey dives into the why does it matter? I need everybody listening to to this to know that there's one to four bullet points under the bullet points that Chris just read. So go into your portal, read what this is about because there's more in here. Casey's gonna give you more. But you know, I just. They need to know about those bullet points.
Just sign up. Everybody has an integration of some sort. Please sign up for this. It's been sorely needed. It's going to make your life A lot easier.
Oh, you're muted.
Sorry, I had so much time. Chris had so much to read.
Taking the break over there, I was.
Like, I'll drink my coffee. This one matters because by providing a global overview and detailed app overview pages, admins now have greater visibility and control over your entire integration ecosystem. This update provides immediate identification and resolution of issues, bolsters security through enhanced oversight, and empowers users with embedded educational resources. It streamlines the discovery and adoption of new value driving apps, ensuring greater operational efficiency, data integrity and more value for your tech stack investment.
I like this.
Visibility has been sorely needed. There's also some nice screenshots over here if you want to check it out. Shout out to our buddy Justin at Simple events.
Yeah, Justin, dude.
This is what app education and enablement looks like folks. So just fair warning. And Chris, talk about apps built for HubSpot.
Scroll down for one second. Ladies and gentlemen, drum roll please. All hubs, all tiers, you have zero excuses. Go check it out.
Finally. Reports List, Grid view. Exactly what is this? You can now view your reports in a visual grid layout. In addition to the traditional list view, each report appears as a tile showing key details like title, owner, last updated and quick actions, giving you a cleaner, more intuitive way to browse and manage reports.
This matters because as teams build and manage more reports, it can become hard to quickly find what you need in a long list. The grid view solves this by making it easier to scan and spot important reports, highlighting key report details at a glance and creating a more visual, user friendly experience. Especially helpful if you work with with a smaller set of high impact reports. Whether you're a power user just getting started, this view gives you more control over how you navigate and organize your workspace. Okay, I get it. I like this.
So similar to like when you start setting up templated dashboards, they've got like the cards there, right?
Because I think one of the issues, people end up with too many reports because they can't find the report that they're looking for. But this makes the reports a little more visual so you can see what's inside of them, not just their name, which you might not always be able to tell what it is from the name.
Great naming habits. All right.
Wow. We did it.
We did it. And that's where we're going to wrap today. Remember folks, you probably already own the solution you're looking for in HubSpot. Sometimes you just need to wake up to it. Join us tomorrow morning live at 7:30am Central or catch us anytime on Spotify and Apple Music. Drop your biggest takeaway in the comments and let us know what capabilities you want us to wake up to next. Until then, I'm Chris. Carolyn.
I'm Casey Hawkins.
And I'm George B. Thomas.
And this has been Wake Up, Customer platform. Now go build something amazing. Have a great day, everybody.
Love Wake Up, Customer.
