HubSpot added custom object association labels, a beta feature that lets you name relationships between objects. The example used is a car object with labels like 'driver' and 'owner' to clarify how different records connect.
Custom objects now support association labels. You asked for it. It's live. I told you it was coming soon. Here it is. Check it out. So here I am in my portal, in the custom object settings section of my settings page. We're at my cars object. I have pets and shipments also. But look, there's now an associations tab here. It's in beta, but you can access it. And look, look, let's say, yeah, I want to create an association label for my cars. How about my cars are associated with contacts. How about we have a driver label? How about that? Yeah, sounds good. And boom, I now have a driver label. And how about, you know, how about we'll make another one? Let's. Let's make an owner label, huh? How about that? And done. Easy as that. This is now available in the beta for the associations improvements thing. If you haven't opted into that yet, you totally should. There's a lot of fun stuff happening here. Let me know what you think. Let me know if you have any questions.
