This is a YouTube video titled "HubSpot's Emojis Tips and Tricks: Enhance Your Data Visualization with Emojis" created on November 10, 2022. The content features a dialogue between two speakers discussing how to use emojis creatively within HubSpot properties to visually enhance deal tracking and data visualization. The speakers share practical tips on emoji shortcuts for Mac and Windows and suggest various use cases for color-coded deal health indicators and workflows within HubSpot.
Hey friends. I've been seeing a lot of you.
Doing really clever things with emojis inside of HubSpot.
So I wanted to talk about this.
A little bit, sort of as a mea culpa. When the, when we came out with.
Rich text properties, I was like, and now you can use emojis and it turns out you don't need a rich.
Text property for that. You can do that in literally any kind of property.
So I've seen lots of cool things.
On LinkedIn and through the HubSpot top.
Five submissions and I just want to.
Show you some of the things you can do.
So let's hop right in.
Here we are on the properties page and, and I'm going to create a deal property. Hat tip to Chris over at Battle Quest who gave me this idea. Stuart at Arrows is doing similar things with, with, with tickets. So we could call this just like deal health, right? And we'll put this in deal information.
And we'll, we'll make it a dropdown. Why not?
And so we can have a couple different options here and now here is.
Maybe the most important thing I can teach you the not just about HubSpot.
But about life in general.
If you want to use emojis in.
Some place, you don't have to copy.
And paste them from the Internet or anywhere else. If you are on a Mac, just.
Do Control command spacebar and your emoji thing pops up. If you're on Windows it's even easier.
Just Windows key, period. And this will pop up. And now we can do some color coding, right? So maybe we want some green things.
And there are so many fun green emojis. But let's just keep it simple and do home hearts and I will just copy paste that a couple of times and then maybe we'll do, you know, again, control command space or Windows key period. Now we'll do some yellow hearts, right? And this is, this is fine.
Look, this is both the internal value and the label.
And then we'll do a red broken heart, right? Oh sad. This one is not doing well.
And look, now we have this visually.
Pleasing color coded way of doing deal health.
And now think about all the things.
You can do with this.
Now that you can do per pipeline properties on your deal cards. You can have different health properties for different pipelines.
You could do this for tickets and.
For deals in different ways. And then you can have calculated properties.
That are looking at things and then.
A workflow that translates that into emojis or you can have a workflow that's.
Looking at things going on with the associated contact and company and the deal.
And giving a health rating. And then on your deal board it's.
Just going to be visually color coded.
And you can get as complex with this as you want, right?
You don't just have to go red, yellow, green, you could do all all.
The different emoji faces. As long as it actually means something to your team. Go nuts. It's going to make it so much easier to see in a glance how.
Things are going on in your board based objects especially.
Anyway, just wanted to share that all with you. Let me know what you think, let me know if you have any questions and let me know your ideas for.
