This is a YouTube video titled "I thought I was a pretty good manager..." containing a monologue or personal reflection by a single speaker discussing their experience with an intensive leadership boot camp program from Gornell Leadership, describing it as life-changing and comparable to two years of therapy in a week. The content was created in March 2024.
You could also do a more boot camp in person type program. I did one of those over a decade ago from Gornell Leadership. You're basically at the beach in North Carolina for a week, but it is not a vacation. It's not therapy. But I would describe it as sort of similar to two years of therapy in a week. Assessments ahead of time. You do the 360. It's intense, but you come out of it. And for me, it was life changing. The feedback I got, I completed it when I was 30. I thought I was a pretty good manager. I'd been in.
