A short presentation arguing that content quality depends on substance, not format. Good content is defined as material that helps the audience achieve goals or overcome challenges; without that value, optimization and format choices are irrelevant. The speaker emphasizes that unless content matches what people are searching for, optimization alone won't attract them.

The physics discussion really does come down to the content piece, right? When you say, like, what is a good piece of content? What does that actually mean? Right. First thing you should do, completely remove the idea of what format it is. Right? I generally don't care if it's a blog post, if it's a video, if it's a newsletter, if it's a whatever. Ultimately, the format does not mean anything. It if the substance isn't good. So what makes good substance of the content? Right? Good content helps someone when they consume that piece of content. No matter the medium, when they consume that piece of content, it gets them closer to achieving a goal or overcoming a challenge. Right? When that happens, that's where someone actually receives value. Okay, now why do we want to make sure we're doing that with our content? Two big reasons. One, it doesn't matter how well you optimize that piece of content. If you do not create what people are looking for, they have no reason to find you in the first place.
