This is a YouTube video titled "Internal Marketing Team at LegalZoom Transforms Creative Operations with ZenPilot" featuring Melanie Brook, the manager of creative operations at LegalZoom. In this testimonial-style content from August 2023, Melanie shares her positive experience working with ZenPilot to optimize their use of ClickUp for project management, highlighting improvements in team organization, efficiency, and cross-departmental collaboration.
I am so grateful that I found zenpilot because what I desperately needed to find was a group of people who understood ClickUp in and out and understood the best practices of project organization and creative team management across not only projects but also out of office and data about the team. Really a way to utilize all that information, organize it in a tool and pull data from it in a way that it's effective and helpful. I'm so so so grateful that Zenpilot exists and that I serendipitously found them and that LegalZoom's budget allowed for me to hire them. And working with them honestly was a dream. We not only learned the best practices we needed to learn, but their team implemented the structure that we needed and then they helped coach our team on how to actually use the structure once we had it. And our team will never be the same again. I'm Melanie Brook and I manage creative operations for the in house creative team at LegalZoom. Before I met Zenpilot, LegalZoom had just barely brought on ClickUp as a project management tool. So we were utilizing the functions on a very basic level to try to get our projects organized. I went into this program knowing that you can't manage what you can't track and all the aha moments that I got from zenpilot were all around the bells and whistles of ClickUp. These people understand that tool almost better than the ClickUp people themselves. I learned so many tips and tricks that I have not only shared with my direct team, but I've also shared them with a broader marketing org because I know that anybody who's utilizing the tool ClickUp would need to know these tips and tricks. And it has had a noticeable difference on definitely my direct team because we had the most involvement with senpai, but also even the extended marketing team who have only had just exposure from the tips and tricks that I've shared. It has had a noticeable difference on their behavior in the tool as well. And now thanks to the help of zenpilot, all of our projects are beautifully organized. Everything has a home. Our team has been trained really well on where to look for certain pieces of information, but all of our projects within ClickUp are truly a single source of truth where people include links to the figma files and copydocs and everything else and they also include all of their comments about a project so you can really look to those ClickUp tasks as the single source of choose for a project. Also, the way that our team is navigating their everyday work life in ClickUp. I think it's impressive because I it makes projects run smoother. But what has impressed me most is that actually other departments within marketing have reached out to me and asked how we got our system to be functioning so well. And they've asked for tips on how to make their systems look just like ours. So I know that it's not only making our life easier to function within, but it's also has been a source of inspiration for our partners and they want to build their ClickUp structures just like ours. For anyone who's on the fence about this decision, I would say if your team is in need of some organizational support, do it. You won't regret it. Hiring ZenPilot is the best thing that I've done since my time at LegalZoom in the last year. We function so much more smoothly. We can accommodate more projects. Our general, like, volume, like what we're. What we're able to accomplish is greater because we are not spending so much time chasing projects around and trying to figure out what the status of them are. And we're also not trying to chase down stakeholders anymore because they've been Inspired to join ClickUp the way that we have. It has been an absolute game changer.
