Agile isn't just for software teams. The framework of short sprints and flexible iteration works for content creation and traditional businesses too, letting you adapt quickly as conditions change.
Is Agile project management just for developers and software people? I don't think so. But this question did come up in a recent processdriven membership huddle where Rika asked, is this something I can use for content creation or for coursework? And the answer is yes. All Agile is is a way of breaking down giant projects into smaller bite sized chunks. Agile is a theoretical framework for how to approach work using little tiny cyclical loops called called sprints. And in each of those sprints you're planning, you're doing, and you're reevaluating how things went. Agile has so many components, rituals, practices that when you actually practice them, they allow you to work in a more flexible and creative way that might allow you to get more done in less time. Yeah, Agile might have its skew from where it was originally born, but there's absolutely no reason content creators and traditional businesses cannot take components or all of Agile and apply it in their business.
