This is a YouTube video titled "LinkedIn vs CVs." containing a monologue or single-speaker commentary recorded on September 3, 2024, discussing the relevance of CVs versus LinkedIn profiles in evaluating candidates in the digital space.
CV's for me are generally not that helpful. Like, I'm looking for someone who lives and breathes in the digital space, so I'm assuming they've got an up to date LinkedIn that's not for sure a sign that's not like, oh, I will reject this person if they have Nothing on their LinkedIn without doing any further evaluation. But it's definitely a caution flag if I'm looking for somebody who's tied into this space and their LinkedIn was last updated in 2017 or something.
